Negative experience: I bought a 2022 Harley Davidson fat boy model for 29,000 and then added stages 1 and 2 for a total of 5,000. So I've invested 34,000 into my Harley Davidson motorcycle. I decided to trade it in at barnes Harley Davidson on a 2018 street glide bike. I was totally insulted when they valued my 34,000 dollar bike at around 16,000 and expected me to cough up another 8,000 to trade my bike for a bike that was 4 years older and more km's. My whole point is to warn other people interested in buying a Harley Davidson that if you do buy one they obviously don't hold there value or the dealers are just trying to take advantage of there customers. My point is buyer beware when buying anything from Harley Davidson or their dealers .

Fantastic experience: Colin helped me choose a perfect bike for me. As a woman, it can be difficult to find someone you can trust to help you with motorcycle. He was honest and genuine with answering my questions. He took the time to answer all of my questions and made me feel at ease, he was not pushy, not pretentious and knowledgeable. Negative experience: Just purchased a 23 street glide last year. The day I took it home I had issues with the clutch / gears, it would not go into neutral while I was at a light. I had mentioned it to my salesman he told me to bring it in. I did not bring it in cuz I felt it wasn’t too serious at the time and I wanted to enjoy the riding season. Beginning of this season I needed the fluids changed so I contacted service to pick up my bike. I had some issues with battery in the off season as well. When my bike was completed I didn’t understand why I paid $290 to diagnose my clutch gear issue(warranty should of covered that), the issue with the battery was covered under warranty but I don’t understand why I was billed .5 hours to install my seat when the battery is under the seat. I could have installed the seat myself and saved $85. Does charge apply to anyone that has a battery issue? I removed my own seat to try and trickle charge the battery. When they picked up my bike that seat was already removed so did I save .5h $85 there??

Negative experience: Worst double standard dealership ever!! I had a deal on a 24 cvo st and the sales manager quit and the rest of them won't honer the price!! Even tho I have sent them several customers who purchased bikes and I bought my last bike and thousands of dollars in gear there. They also screwed me on these sale of my last bike and scratched the paint. It took 3 months to sort of paint correction from them after I told them DONT WASH MY BIKE!! THE GUY USED A RAG FROM THE MOTOR AND THEN PUT IT ON MY SADDLEBAG PAINT!! DONT BUY A BIKE FRON THEM GO TO TREV DEELY OR MOUNTAINVIEW!!!

Negative experience: I purchased a bike off the lot at the end of March last year. It turned out to be a lemon with illegal mods. They wouldn't give me my money back while under warranty. They've had the bike since June 2023. I missed my riding season on it last year, and so far this year. They've given the runaround the whole time. I just want my money back! Negative experience: I don't like giving bad reviews but i, and a number of my friends have had problems with barnes. The sales people are great and they'll give you a good deal but the service department is a nightmare. They screwed up some electrical work on my brand new bike and after months of trying to get them to fix it I ended up taking it to trev's where they fixed it properly. Also I wanted to cancel my extended warranty and get a refund for the balance which would have been about $1,000. After a year of trying to get them to cancel it properly so I can get the refund I gave up. They were completely incompetent when it came to that. It cost me $1,000 but I just couldn't take the aggravation anymore

Fantastic experience: As a person that lives in yaletown, you would think that the Harley Davidson tree Vancouver location would be the store to go to, well let me tell you it is not, I had the most horrible experience and service there. However a few friends have suggested to go to the store Barnes Harley-Davidson instead even that it is in Langley, I had the most wonderful experience, ordering a pair of boots for my husband. The manager Karsen, was fantastic, from the minute I got on the phone with her the experience was unbelievable, she was efficient, nice and wonderful to deal with. Originally they didn’t have the boots size I was looking for but that wasn’t an issue for Karsen, as she went above and beyond, checked their other store in Kamloops and she placed an order from them to sent it to her so that I can pick them up, she also set the order on rush (which it was so nice of her to do so and not expected as I know how crazy the holidays can be with delivery’s) to get them in so I can give them to my husband for Christmas, it was a Christmas miracle thank you Karsen for the wonderful attention. Totally recommend this store to go buy anything to you (motorcycle/harley Davidson) related in the whole lower mainland.

Negative experience: Was prepared to buy a new bike that day I walked in. Walked around for 20 min and all staff was sitting around gabbing and got no service. When I finally asked for help the sales guy quickly dismissed me to go chat with his buddy who walked in. Only reason I gave you 2 stars was as I walked out a female sales staff noticed my frustrations and tried to assist. Wish I went to her first. left and went to Harley in Burnaby and was treated great by the staff and even took a couple bikes for a test ride..

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed. My uncle is a regular here and today they lost a customer. After paying for his purchase, he went to his vehicle, within seconds he realized he left his wallet at the counter. He went back inside and it wasnt there. Zero efforts from any of the staff to help him. It all happened within 2 mins. Honestly we even have suspicions that the teller stole it because no one else was around the area at the time of him paying. Most people have the kindness to say “sir you left your wallet!” Can’t believe the unprofessional, childish behaviour.
Positive experience: The sales staff was friendly and communicative, but the clothing section left something to be desired. I like to get a shirt with the name of the dealership on the back when I visit a store. Barnes only had about 4 or 5 shirts with their name on the back and they were all black. I don't know about all y'all, but I already have plenty of black shirts. They were also out of 2xl in most of the shirts they had, with or without logos on the back. They had a good inventory of bikes inside and outside. If you are in the area you should definitely drop in. Like I said, the staff is friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Had a fantastic experience here buying my second bike, a 2014 Triumph Rocket III Roadster in great shape and with super low kms. Ryan was extremely helpful—always answering questions and making sure I had all the information I needed to make an informed choice instead of trying to push a sale. Sanjay was really helpful as well once I’d actually committed to purchasing the bike and sat down with him to make the transaction. Easiest experience I’ve ever had buying a vehicle. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Negative experience: Focus is on shirts and new bikes. The LOOK seems to be the big thing for them. Had an appointment to see a used machine. It had a dead battery and parts missing. Couldn’t hear it or ride it WITH AN APPOINTMENT The fellow we dealt with didn’t know much about anything. After having no joy, I quizzed him on wether or not the bike had summer air in the tires or winter air still…he said he’d have to ask the mechanics Stick to selling shirts pal.

Positive experience: They have good collection of gears and bikes but 4 stars for the service side, took way longer than they first told me it will take (like 2 hours more than estimated) and charges are a bit too high. But overall good store to visit.

Fantastic experience: Happy, no, ecstatic to say I bought a 2023 Street Bob from Barnes HD. Ajay worked with me all day, took the best care of me and made sure I was getting the deal I wanted. Ajay wasn't pushy, is super friendly and has a wealth of knowledge. Thank you Ajay for being there when I walked in!! Ian, the manager at Barnes is also a diamond! Fantastic experience: Sunny, the service manager, was brilliant to deal with. I’m a newcomer to BC and had tried to land my BMW with High Road Langley, who clearly need to take some customer service skills from this dealership. Daniel, their service manager was more interested in trying to tell me how my bike would arrive damaged and they’d need to do a $100 inspection on my bike. Despite explaining to him that my bike was fully insured, and was being brought out in its own trailer, he still tried to insist I pay something. Sunny, on the other hand, was a breeze to deal with and simply asked if I’d be there when the bike was being wheeled off the trailer! THANK YOU SUNNY.

Fantastic experience: Very good experience buying my bike here. Had a hiccup with the deal and ended up talking to GM who made it right. Excellent staff here and excellent selection of Harley products. Shout out to Mike Brown and Ajay. If you have any trouble, talk to these guys. I'll definitely be back.

Negative experience: Bought a new bike. They seem to care less once u sign the papers. We made a plan for me to pick up the bike in the morning so i can avoid the traffic. Once i got there in the morning they tell me its not ready til afternoon. Wasted 4hrs of my day. All was said was "oops sorry". They also didnt give me any option to opt out of the extended warranty. I said i didnt want it but they told me its part of the financing deal. When i asked my friend who bought a bike from them a few weeks before he told me he didnt need to get the extended warranty so it sounds like they lied to me about it. So watch out for that
Negative experience: Parts department used to be good, recently they have really dropped the ball. And don't even get me started about their service dept. I wonder if they are 1st graders with fisher price tools... I wouldn't spend a dollar at Barnes, even if it was a free buck.
Fantastic experience: Bought 2023 Fat Bob 114 last week from Barnes HD. I went in to buy used 2021 forty eight,they showed it to me but used motorcycle market being up the roof right now wasn’t making me happy.Then Ajay showed me few bikes and Ryan set me up for test drives, I took about 4 bikes for test drive and they were more than happy to cater my needs.Buying my first Harley was a special moment for me so Ajay,Ryan & Sanjay all of them made it extra special for me.Finally Ajay helped me choose the bike I have always wanted and Sanjay made sure the deal went smoothly handling all the paperwork and getting me the best deal ever. I will be definitely coming back to this place for future business.If you are a looking for a motorcycle and you are new and confused just give these guys a chance they will take good care of you. Negative experience: I have visited this place last year to purchase my first motorcycle in Canada. The customer service team is good but the finance team are the worst. I had all conversation with the sales team and went to finance persons office. I told him I’ll do more than half down and the rest on finance and my credit was more than 700 at that time with just one remark of late payment. The guy starts with saying it’s hard to get the finance and give me a lecture saying that the motorcycle is just luxury purchase and one don’t need them( Says the guy who drives an SUV and a Harley probably) i was hurt as it was my favourite motorcycle and I left the place, After two days they call me saying they will get me finance from another company and offers me a crazy interest rate where I pay an extra 10k for the finance Amount after doing the half down payment. I told them I don’t want to go with them anymore and went with a triumph and ended up selling my car and my motorcycle is the only means of transportation now and I love it. Just wanted to say to them that, It would have been better if you can understand the love the rider have towards a motorcycle and treat it with respect instead of speaking nonsense about there interest.

Fantastic experience: Don’t even know where to begin, so I’ll start with saying thank you to everyone at Barnes Langley who helped me purchase my first bike! But most importantly, thank you to Ajay Bali! I am sure I was one of the most impatient, annoying, nightmare of a customer that’s he’s ever had… Regardless of such, he assisted me through every step of the way. Negative experience: Literally could not express how TERRIBLE the service dept and parts dept are for customer service. Wouldn’t waste my time or any money at this dealership. Service denied a legit receipt and said that what I was going in for wasn’t paid for and made up “fake” invoices trying to say the service my bike needed hadn't been paid for- even though I had a cardholder copy. Then called for parts and the guy didn’t want to give his time of day to help me out with the part I needed. What kind of people do you hire He barely answered, didn’t give me part numbers, and legit quoted me for I don’t know what… waste of time. Go to mountain view or Trev deely.

Fantastic experience: I was dealing with Waylon in the parts department over a issue that I had for almost two and a half years and when I went to deal with Waylon because I was having no luck with other dealers he excelled beyond my belief he did a lot of digging and found out that there was a problem with my seat. It was also a recall that nobody else could find out about and he took care of it promptly and sent me my seat and I returned the other one. I would be more than happy to deal with this person anytime in the future. Thanks Waylon I appreciate your customer service.

Fantastic experience: I recently acquired a 2017 Lowrider S, a mate to my 2016 Identical Beast thanks to Kate Bennett at Barnes. She knew I wanted another one and politely reminded me without pressure when they would come available until the timing was right for me. Negative experience: Bought a electraglide from this store after they tried to sell me the wrong bike initially. Then to rectify there unbelievable mistake they offered me certain extras. Then waited 3 months and 8000 dollars worth of payments later; because they lost it, before I finally received it. When I received my bike finally it was on the back of a pick up( backwards) and caked with mud ( after all it is winter) all the way from Kamloops. I am not a very happy first time buyer. Will not suggest this store to anyone
Positive experience: 32k major service done on a 2021 FLHT 128ci Stage IV. All's well except.... Service Advisor There should be absolutely NO reason for the bike to leave service with the bottom of engine (bottom of case, wiring & connectors, oil cooling fan, various shrouds) soaked in motor oil when they pulled the oil filter. Your techs know how to pull an oil filter without a drop hitting the motor, if they made a mistake and oil did find it's way underneath, they should have checked and cleaned the components spotless. Sloppy. Upside, bike was done on time.

Positive experience: We we’re looking for a Royal Star to replace my wife’s older Goldwing. Barnes had one with higher kms but in our price range. Ajay was easy to talk to and when we arrived from out of town, he had the bike ready for us to test drive and helped the buying process go smoothly.

Negative experience: The truth is as soon as Barnes got the money for the bike and the paper work was signed the customer service dropped, communication stopped. Their words went from 'Brother! what can i do?' to 'I am busy.' Best thing I did was ride away to another dealership.

Fantastic experience: I have been looking for a V-Rod Muscle for about a Year now. I met Ajay at Barnes who took on the task for finding me what I wanted. Negative experience: I paid and ordered a clutch master cylinder and waited over 3 months for it. Still isn’t showed up. I called Courtney motor sports and they had it in in less then two weeks and cost less. Shop at Courtney motor sports

Fantastic experience: I've always enjoyed going to Barnes as they have the biggest variety of Harleys. Very professional and courteous bunch of people. In my last interaction, I worked with Ajay in Sales. He was super helpful and gave me a great deal. Working with him, my trust in Barnes as a trustworthy place has increased multifolds.
