Ian Law Racing Car Control

Fantastic experience: Had a great time partaking in this very engaging and educational Winter Driving Course. Learned a lot about handling the car in severe weather conditions. Many of the skills learned can be applied to every day driving. Ultimately, this was a fantastic course with very well trained instructors.

Fantastic experience: I am so grateful for attending your driving training with my colleagues. If I knew about it, I would have completed it sooner. Ian , along with your experienced team, you were extra caring and we learned a lot more as long time drivers. I would recommend to everyone. Negative experience: Forced employees and customers to get an experimental shot that we now know was completely useless. Immoral and unethical people. Edit: my apologies for calling your staff employees. This was taken directly from the front page of your website: "NOTE: All of our instructors and staff are fully vaccinated. Due to the classroom settings and in-car instruction, anyone taking our courses will need to be fully vaccinated. Masks must be worn by students and instructors while in the vehicles"

Fantastic experience: Basic training this school offers should be mandatory for anyone with a driver's license. Also a great family activity for new and experienced drivers.

Fantastic experience: The ILR Car Control School offers a great mix of classroom instruction and on-track driving time. The in-car instructors provide constant feedback around the track. I recommend this to anyone that want to improve their driving skills.

Fantastic experience: For me Ian's classes were a gateway into real motorsports vs the playstation world of racing. Solid fundamentals with lots of practical exercises and real time driving instruction in a safe and controlled environment. The key takeaway I had from the first course is that there's so much to learn and you need to understand that it takes time to acquire solid skills on the track. I can't recommend the autoslalom and track courses enough.

Fantastic experience: I have taken motorcycle race training and felt this car-based course was very informative and useful. The track time in my street car was terrific to help me learn about the true capabilities of my vehicle, and my driving skills. I am now a better driver due to this course. The instructors were positive, patient and knowledgeable. I would recommend this course for both experienced and even inexperienced drivers (so you parents out there - consider enrolling your teenagers to help them learn the skills they need to keep themselves safe and their love of cars and driving alive!).

Fantastic experience: If you drive a vehicle, you should be taking the Car Control course. I took the course and it was an amazing mix of classroom information and behind the wheel exercises. The instructors were very good and they let me push my abilities and my car as much as I wanted to, under very safe guidance as an instructor was in my car. The course lasted from 8AM until 5PM with a lunch break in between. The day went by super quickly as the classroom instruction was extremely interesting and the driving exercises clarified how my car reacted under different circumstances. My car's ABS system and tires both got a thorough work out so I was very pleased at how much I learned about how they reacted in different circumstances. I also learned a lot about driving in general and that paid immediate dividends as I was aware of potential collision in the parking lot on my way out after the course had ended (it was a random driver not paying attention). That awareness and ability to see the potential for a collision more than paid for the cost of the course! It was a great day and Ian Law and his team of instructors can really help you become a better and more aware driver. It's a course well worth taking.
