AMA Driver Education is a driving school located at 3650 20 Ave NE in Calgary, AB. We offer fully certified in-class, virtual and online courses, as well as in-vehicle driving lessons. From new driver training to driver improvement courses and fleet driver training, our programs are regularly reviewed and updated by our driving experts to provide training that prepares drivers for Alberta’s roads. Our instructors are rigorously interviewed, tested and certified to exceed provincial standards, and are always improving with ongoing professional development. For more than 80 years, Albertans have trusted us to teach them the knowledge and skills they need to drive confidently.

Positive experience: Why have 3 people at the service desk if only 1 is helping? Horrible service and everyone's a member! Shame on you all.

Fantastic experience: My instructor was so fantastic, and absolutely amazing at putting me at ease. His gentle teaching style work perfectly for me, as I get anxious and am a perfectionist - not ideal for someone learning to drive! But he was patient and took the time to help me deal with my anxiety, while teaching me everything I needed to know. I would absolutely recommend him to everyone!

Fantastic experience: AMA Driving School is an institution and lives to its excellent reputation. I just recently completed my driving education under Mr. Pankaj, who is very kind teacher. He does not only emphasize the basic but also provides other techniques that will be very comfortable and easier for me. He never shouted, scolded and was very attentive during our sessions. I highly recommend having your education from AMA, especally for those who have 0 experience in driving or those who are still nervous behind the wheel.
