Fantastic experience: My daughter had a great experience with YD. Her instructor was Peter. He was very knowledgeable, patient and kind. I appreciated his regular communication and ease to schedule her weekly in car lessons. Thank you Peter!

Fantastic experience: My daughter recently went through YD at this location and we can’t say enough about her instructor, Peter. He was kind, knowledgeable and funny. She always had a funny story after her lessons. Peter was also very flexible in our meeting location as we were from out of town. Lessons were always booked ahead so there was zero stress of having to try and fight for a lesson. All in all a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend. Also shout out to Kate at the administration desk for always being so helpful.

Fantastic experience: We have had 3 of our kids go through the YD program in Stouffville and it's been great. Peter was their instructor and they became confident, capable and safe drivers. Our 4th will also go through YD in a few years and hopefully will also have Peter as the instructor!

Fantastic experience: I worked with Peter from YD for the past 5-6 months and i’ll be the first to say he’s incredible at what he does. He works long days but no matter what time you get him he’s extremely detailed and more than qualified to know what he’s talking about. He’s extremely passionate and overall just a great man. I would recommend YD and especially Peter to anyone who is looking to pursue any license.

Fantastic experience: My son did his classes through Young Drivers and had a great experience. I would have liked for him to attend live classes as opposed to everything still being online but that’s the world we live in now! The administrative team was wonderful, warm, friendly and very helpful. The instructor Attilio, according to my son, was a really nice guy. He taught him so much and gave him the confidence to pass his G2 with flying colours! Thank you to everyone we came in contact with, you are all professional and worked well with a teenage boy who was so excited to get his license!

Negative experience: I would not recommend this school to someone. In fact I have (unfortunately) had to warn my friends about this location. In my in class lessons, my teacher talked about road kill and I found the conversation to be a bit morbid, with little remorse. (He hit a dog). However, I am a big animal lover so I could be over reacting. First red flag! I was an anxious driver starting out and the tone and attitude of one of the instructors was horrible. He would raise his voice and told me after my first lesson he does not think I would pass my G2 test that was scheduled in a few months. I came home and cried after my lessons with him. Additionally, he did not wear his mask in the car (when the mask mandate was still present), and encouraged me to do the same. I found he crossed my boundaries of physical touch (I think a high five can be okay) such as holding my hand for too long after a congratulatory handshake, and pressing my thigh/knee (because I was not going fast enough). Furthermore, he did not follow the lesson plan of young drivers, and attempted to teach me to reverse park in our first lesson! So many red flags. Eventually, I had the courage to request a switch of instructors, which I am grateful for. Genuine thanks to the secretary here, you were super kind. This second instructor was better. As an anxious driver he was not very comforting, but he seemed like an okay guy. Not someone I would recommend to a friend though. TLDR; Had a terrible experience with one instructor. Every time I made a mistake there was a negative comment. I don’t think making students feel bad about themselves gets them anywhere, but if that is what you like in a teacher maybe you would have a different experience. I have had many friends talk about positive experiences elsewhere, so please choose wisely!
