Fantastic experience: Martha was an exceptional driving instructor. Her patience, clear instructions, and supportive approach made the driving a great experience with her. I gained a lot of skills thanks to her excellent teaching. I appreciate her.

Negative experience: Me and many other girls I know have had negative experiences with Martha from Westside driving school. I often felt discouraged during my lessons, and sometimes frightened to drive. Every other girl I have spoken to has had a similar experience, however, none of the boys who have had her had anything negative to say at all…. she even told me of an incident in which one of her male students totalled his father’s car driving into a pole while parking, to which she said, “I felt so bad… he was just so willing to learn” I wonder what she would have said if the student was female?

Fantastic experience: Great instructor! Very professional and patient. They gave good advice and without them I definitely wouldn’t have passed. Definitely recommend this driving school.

Fantastic experience: Martha gets the job done. I think it's her knowledge that makes her a great instructor. My son would save up all his questions then ask Martha at his next lesson. Then when I told him to do something he'd say, "Martha said..." and hey, he passed - first time.

Negative experience: Instructor was very discouraging and rarely gave any positive feedback. Cost seemed quite expensive when compared to similar driving schools. We would recommend looking elsewhere.

Negative experience: Definitely would not recommend using this driving lesson service. I had lessons with Martha in 2013 and she would say stuff like “ you just killed that person” (an imaginary person) when i missed a shoulder check and I left every lesson with tears because she was far too harsh when in reality I was a good driver and got my N even when she told me again and again I would fail. I understand the need for being strict for safety but she caused me a lot of anxiety on the road and tore down my confidence a lot which I had to build up again. She will teach you the rules, but she’s not a good teacher.
