CLC Driving School: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Llena is the best driving instructor, hands down. My daughter had tried a few other instructors but found Llena to be the best and said she wished she had had her from the start. She is calming for anyone who is nervous, is also knowledgeable and very thorough. Was always on time too. The ultimate professional.
Fantastic experience: CLC (Llena) is an absolute excellent instructor. She helped me to gain confidence and pass within a few months. What I loved about her approach was that it was very individualized and any time I thought I needed help with something or didn't feel confident about something, she already knew and put a plan in place. Llena really knows her stuff and used a variety of different ways to teach me, including showing me, doing diagrams, showing me with little toy cars and through her thorough explanations. Her praise and her strictness were a perfect blend to make me into a great driver. Furthermore, I honestly wasn't looking forward to driving and thought it would be so boring. But boy was I wrong! Llena made the whole experience so much fun and it was also positive and I looked forward to every lesson. I felt cared for, listened to and completely confident in Llena's car and I wholeheartedly recommend her if you want to be challenged to a confident and excellent driver! Thanks again Llena!
Thank you so much Jess for the review/comment/remark. I will really claim it. You are one of my students that asked everything, every single detail. Just so happen that before you ask me, I know already what to answer. Anyways, may I extend also a credit to you for being very cooperative for the whole journey. It was really a great teamwork, you did your part and I did my part too. The result wasn't only good, not only great but it was really EXCELLENT!
Fantastic experience: Hello everyone, I have to confess that Liena is the best..I had tried taking the road test several times but kept failing and she only fine tuned me such that I passed the first time! She can also get the dates you want for your test...simply awesome..God bless her
Fantastic experience: Llena is an amazing instructor who made me feel very comfortable with driving here. I got my class 5 with only 5-6 driving sessions (I've had previous driving experience but with right handed system). She explains everything in very precise and logical manner that makes perfect sense. Highly recommended!
Positive experience: I just got my N thanks to my instructor miss leana's COOL &FRIENDLY way of guiding me through out my 7 lesson to her. She sure know the how , what and where of helping you pass and absolutely drive safely. I would highly recommend her. The reason im giving a 4star is because she is so strick on me on my speed so now i got no choice but to pass...other than that i would give 5!!!!
Fantastic experience: Amazing experience with CLC Driving School! I would highly recommend Llena's services! Hands on learning with enjoyable driving lessons! Llena really knows what she is teaching and she really makes sure her students know all that there is to know about driving and being on the road, along with some very helpful driving tips! She is kind, caring, easy going and very passionate about her work!
Fantastic experience: My daughter recently passed her N in North Vancouver. Liena was an excellent instructor, both professional and friendly. She made my daughter feel confident and at ease driving. I would highly recommend Liena's services.
Fantastic experience: Got my license with just 7 classes with CLC. Llena is an excellent instructor who really knows her stuff. She's a sweet and friendly person and I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to get a driving licence in Vancouver.
Fantastic experience: I highly recommend it! Llena is a warm and easy going instructor and I couldn't have passed the road test without the lessons I took with her. We practiced in the places in North Van where the tests usually takes place and I could catch nice tips for the day of the exam.
Fantastic experience: Llena was a great instructor for our daughter while she was getting her N. Would highly recommend using their services!
Negative experience: Not professional at all! I booked a class with her over a week ago, and asked what I had to bring/do the day of the class, everything she said was cash and drivers licence. I got a call 20 min before my appointment, when I was on my way to their office, to cancel the class because she was in North Vancouver and she could not come, but that it was my fault not to tell her where I wanted to be picked up... Nobody asked me that I needed to provide a pick up point, and the class was confirmed in their office. She wanted to charge me a $45 cancellation fee!!! when I was on my way to their office and she was the one cancelling!! Very BAD SERVICE.
Fantastic experience: Me and my friend just came back from ICBC with full license today Thanks to Llena for teaching us. You're very helpful and so kind Thanks you Ellie and Gavin
Fantastic experience: I heard about CLC Driving School from a friend of mine. Luckily, I got my license on my first try! Thanks to my instructor - Llena Rafael. Although I was really nervous about getting my license, I'm really grateful to Llena. It was easy to book driving lessons because Llena was so accommodating. I found the rate of the driving lessons reasonable as well. What I learned and gained from my driving lessons paid off during my road test, and I believe that it also helped me to become a safe driver, so it was all worth it. If there's one advice that I could give to her future students, it will be: Don't be shy to ask questions! Don't pretend that you know and understood everything, even when you don't, because it will not help you at all. Besides, Llena would always know if you're lying. :) Overall, I really had a great experience during my driving lessons. Not only did it prepare me to pass my road test, but it helped me to become a safe and confident driver. I would highly recommend CLC Driving School (Llena) to my friends. See you Llena for my class 5 road test! :)
Fantastic experience: Everything is all worthy - for taking a driving lessons with . I don't wanna calculate how much money I've spent just for the driving lessons but I'm humbly proud of myself. What matters for me is to learn to drive well as well as to drive safe. But I couldn't do all these without my Driving Instructor -Llena Rafael. She's so patient with me while I'm behind the (steering) wheel - she's my other 6th sense of sights just in case ✌️️... yet she taught me to observe on my own such as potential hazards and/or some other hazards/potential emergency situations while on road. Because of her, I'm confident that I can drive well now on my own and even though I passed my road test (Novice), I would still want her to expose me driving in a highway even just for one driving lesson. ☺️ She did everything she could for me to become at my best. She's always telling me to overcome my fear (nervousness). And above all I really am gratified that she's my DI; I'm glad I started my DL early. "We're all aiming to get/hold a driver's license, but not to brag or swag it out that we can now drive and/or about what type of car we're driving. Those aren't matter if we can't drive safely". No one's perfect, but we can't overconfident ourselves when driving 'coz if we do we tend to forget our surroundings, i.e., road users while we're behind the wheels. This is what my driving instructor doesn't want for her students to be. She always make sure how safe her students are while on the road. If you need to be well on your driving and needed someone to teach you she's the right one for you...most especially to Learners. I'm recommending you to her. You'll be at your best through her help. One tip: to ease your nervousness on your road test, chew a gum. when you started feeling nervous, just breathe in and breathe it out slowly. Second tip: if you have a road test, and while you're doing the warm-up always pay attention to clues, for instance, if you're making a left turn at a green light. And you attempt to turn left, pressed on the accelerator, yet there's no safe gap to do so as there is an oncoming/ongoing car. As you attempt to turn left, but your instructor pressed on the brake because it's not safe to do...take that as a sign that this might happen to you on your actual road test. Then work on it well while you are still on warm-up driving. Do well, learn from your mistakes (driving) and work them well. -Jof
