Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Rocky Mountain Truck Driver Training School! I am French and moved to Alberta in July 2024. By August, I started my Class 1 training at this school, not knowing anyone and being completely new to Calgary. I couldn’t have dreamed of a better school! Troy was an incredible instructor – patient, understanding of my English level, and even willing to try speaking French to help me! I failed my first attempt at the test due to a lack of time on the backing, but when I took it again, Troy and Ron did everything they could to help me succeed. Thanks to their dedication and support, I am now officially licensed! They go above and beyond, always answering texts—even on weekends—and their only goal is their students' success. If you're looking for a professional, dedicated, and supportive truck driving school, look no further—this is the one !

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Rocky Mountain Truck Driver Training School for anyone pursuing a commercial driver's license. Ron was patient answering my questions as well as giving detailed information on pretrip, I was a good experience overall and I felt i definitely got my moneys worth. Fantastic experience: Ron and Troy were great to deal with from early on inquiries to passing the test. A lot of driving schools pump out drivers to make money, these guys actually care about the quality of drivers they put on the road. They teach things properly, and fully so you can understand everything you are doing. Ron and Troy took a few hours of their personal time to help run refresher courses outside of the regular program to ensure test success. Couldn’t ask for better guys and I’d HIGHLY recommend that if you care about being taught properly, go see these guys

Fantastic experience: I searched around Calgary for a class 1 MELT driving school back in April. Ron was very knowledgable with the questions I had on the phone, Very understanding of my inexperience and held a professional manner throughout my entire course. I cannot say enough good things about Troy, who was my in vehicle instructor for 3 weeks. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and most important, paitient! Both Troy and Ron are great people and Carry a ton of experience in the industry! After all the nerves I passed my road test first shot! If you’re contemplating over what truck driver training company to go with. Hands down this is the one! Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to start off by extending the biggest Thank you to Troy and Ron from Rocky Mountain Truck Driver Training School. I was able to do some research about the various driving schools in and around Calgary before making my decision, and decided on Rocky Mountain based on the reviews and my interactions with Ron over the phone. This school seriously deserves more than 5 stars. Thanks to the amazing and patient instruction from Troy I was able to learn not only the skills of operating a truck with a trailer as well as how to safely and effectively reverse, but also building confidence in my pre-trip, creating good habits on the road, how to chain-up, and so, so much more! Coming from someone who has never touched a truck, never reversed with a trailer, and needed a whole lot of confidence building, this is a school I can and will reccomend wholeheartedly. They did their absolute best to accomodate everyones schedule and listened to students feedback and concerns! If you are a company sending your employees for their class 3, class 1, or even just airbrakes, your employee's will thank you for sending them here, this place truly cares about professionalism and safety and it shows! And if you are like me and are having to fund your own class 1, your money will 100% not go to waste here! Fantastic experience: I worked with Ron to get some extra experience shifting an 18 speed truck and it was really good. I wish now that I had done my full training with Ron as he is a positive reinforcement type of trainer. He will tell you what to do, let you know if you're doing it right or wrong, correct you in a positive way, and let you know when it's working. He will also make sure you know what the safety aspects are without skipping anything. I hope I get a chance to work with Ron again!
