Fantastic experience: Did my lessons here. It was amazing! Staff are very helpful and friendly. They made sure I was ready for my road test and I passed first try with no problems. Would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing. They did whatever they could to book me a lesson and motorcycle for my MST within a day notice and then road test same thing. Ask for Garth to be your instructor if you want a knowledge and friendly instructor that will show you what you need to know. Glad I booked them for my exams!

Fantastic experience: Bruce and Garth are the best instructors/coaches you can have if you want to learn how to ride a motorcycle. They are very passionate about what they do and have lots of experience and cool stories to share. They put safety first and are patient as you make progress.

Fantastic experience: The instructors at KDSC are excellent. I worked with three different instructors in the Learn to Ride and Road Test prep courses and each was knowledgeable, very pleasant to work with, and focused on the important stuff. In my opinion, their courses are the best way to learn to ride and get your license. I highly recommend KDSC.

Negative experience: I don’t like writing negative reviews but I’m really getting tired of businesses that don’t want business. No contact after I paid the deposit for private lessons on May 13. I called them, gave them my schedule and they said they would get back to me in about 10 days. Nothing yet. I emailed them to cancel (because they’ve taken too long and I have had to plan my summer schedule) two days ago and have had no response. I’ll be doing the motorcycle course later this year or early next year, but with a different company that is much more communicative.

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend enough! I came into riding motorcycles pretty aprehensively; two of my family members had been riding for years, and I wasn't sure I would be able to learn how to ride safely. With a combination of a great program and incredibly knowledgeable instructors, I feel confident and safe riding now. Now I'm the one giving my more experienced family members tips on how to ride safely!

Fantastic experience: I am a 65 year old who never rode a motorcycle. I was given advice from a few seasoned riders to take the motorcycle training course and I luckily chose the safety council program. I completed instruction with one of there great trainers (Bill) who was extremely patient with a guy who wouldn't slip the clutch or ride the brakes. lol, It all seemed foreign to me as a truck driver. In the end I completed the basic course and got my restrictions lifted. I was now able to ride my own bike without a supervisor. I spent the summer riding as much as I was able around the city and valley trying to figure out what I was doing. Thanks to Bill's instruction and guidance I never got in any dangerous situations, even though many presented themselves to me. I did my road test on the 22 of October and happily report that I passed and the instructor was pleased with my riding skills. Just a big thank you to the great folks at the Safety Council for the hard dedicated work you provide to the community.

Fantastic experience: I took the Learn to Ride motorcycle course and it significantly exceeded my expectations! I was able to borrow gear and make sure I really enjoyed riding motorcycles before buying one. I learned very quickly how to ride with confidence and taking the course has changed my attitude about riding... you can be in control of your own safety if you ride smart. 10/10 would recommend. There were a wide variety of riders in our course (some experienced some not) and all of us learned something.

I had never been on a bike when I started and am walking away feeling very confident and excited about getting my first bike. Bill was a fantastic and knowledgeable instructor and made me feel secure. I HIGHLY recommend using this school.

Fantastic experience: Refresher Course was spot on! Peter was tremendously helpful, targeting exactly where my challenges lay with slow skills and turns on my bike, as well as improving my coming to a stop. I ride a very large bike, and needed to refresh my skills after a season away due to an unrelated injury. I’m riding with greater skill, confidence and control, and continuing to learn from the written resources recommended to me. Audrey, who works at reception, was also very helpful in being flexible around my schedule and reassuring when it came to getting riding again. Thank you, everyone at KDSC for your patience, persistence and enthusiasm for helping me be a better rider.

Fantastic experience: Recently passed my road test because of the friendly and competent staff and instructors here at the Safety Council. Audrey is so friendly and considerate, she makes sure everything works well with my schedule. Two instructors helped me correcting my bad habits and pointing out where I am lacking, and they are so encouraging and positive! I can't thank them enough for developing this program and helping riders to ride safe and most importantly pass their road tests.

Fantastic experience: The Advanced Riding Techniques course is exactly that - A broad scope from maneuvering, strategy, cornering, and advanced techniques for throttle , brake and shifting control. I left with many new skills to practice, some of which I have already incorporated into my riding and which have already made a marked improvement in my abilities! I highly recommend this course for anyone who has mastered basic riding and traffic skills and has a good knowlege of their own bike

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with the Learn to Ride program and rode away with confidence and the skills to ride safely. The program is well thought out and the instructors are knowledgeable and patient. The opportunity to try different bikes is a plus.

Fantastic experience: I was an absolute beginner, and the instructors quickly built my confidence and riding skill to where I was confident going out on the road in the second week. The instructors emphasize safety, how to protect yourself, how to think, see, do, and how to do all of this while enjoying the riding experience. Every teacher has incredible patience, and I tested them. They took the time to help me learn, make corrections, practice, and to feel safe. With all that I learnt, I can't imagine going out on the road without taking this course. I look forward to taking the advanced course.

Fantastic experience: I recently to the course (K3-2019), and I must say that the entire team is truly passionate about what they teach! Peter was my instructor as well as Bruce, Maddy, Bill and everyone else that was involved. I am a previous rider who needed some habits broken and with their knowledge and teachings I was able to do so. I truly enjoyed taking that course and recommend it to anyone who is either a beginner rider, experienced rider or doesn’t know how to ride. 5 stars from me!!
