Fantastic experience: Ron came up from Quesnel to Kitimat this weekend because he heard there was no school here. He's done a great job with me, both in private lessons and in what I'll need to take the N test. He's patient and he's funny, and well versed in his occupation. I highly recommend him and hope that he comes up here again one day. Edit- He did, and I hold with my previous statement completly. And hope he comes a third time as well.

Fantastic experience: I have a lot of anxiety with driving and people in general, so glad I chose Ron’s. He was so calm, even when I was making mistakes. Explains everything in a way that makes sense and makes it easy. He lets you use his car for the test, which really helps out. Very accommodating for lesson times and days. Money very well spent, I would recommend Ron’s to anyone learning to drive, thoroughly enjoyed my experience.

He was very knowledgeable and provided a wealth of information about the driving process. He was very patient in teaching me the proper techniques and did an excellent job of breaking down each step of the process. The driving classes were structured in a way that made learning how to drive easy and fun. Ron was always available to answer questions and provide feedback on my performance. He was also very accommodating to my schedule. He often went above any beyond to help and even gave me free extra time if I needed it at the end of some lessons. I would highly recommend Ron's Driving School to anyone who is looking for quality driving instruction. He is passionate and knowledgeable about what he does and will help you become a safe and confident driver.

Fantastic experience: Good price. Got my moneys worth in lessons. Ron is very friendly.

Negative experience: I found Ron to be frequently short, irritable and impersonable throughout my lessons. I did 4 or 5 lessons with him and found that it actually *increased* my anxiety surrounding driving, instead of lessening it. There were a few incidences as well that left me feeling very uncomfortable. For example, in our first lesson, Ron was speaking of his personal beliefs surrounding vaccines and COVID-19. I feel that everyone is allowed to have their own opinion about it, but I don't feel that it is appropriate to discuss with students/paying customers, especially in their first lesson. Additionally, in my last lesson with him, he dropped me off after 45 minutes instead of an hour, which I paid in full for. I cancelled my following lessons and did not go back. If you had a good experience with him, awesome! I'm glad for you. My experience was very unpleasant and has left me reluctant to seek further driving instruction.

Fantastic experience: 25 years old and just moved from the coast. Decided it was time to get my N. Ron gave me the confidence, as well as the missing skills, to ace my test today! Couldn't of done it without his help!

Fantastic experience: Our son just finished some lessons with Ron and they made all the difference! His confidence went up and so did his driving skills. I highly recommend giving Ron a try. He put my nervous son at ease and by the end of the first lesson he was all smiles.

Fantastic experience: I'm pretty excited today I passed my driving test for my N, I have to say a big part of me passing was learning from Ron's driving school and I so thoughtful for him. he was probably one of the best teachers out there for his patients understanding humor and all around making every lesson enjoyable experience. I was probably one of the harder person to teach and I never thought that I would have got my license in my life, but thankfully I had an amazing teacher. So if you're looking for someone who is patient funny and willing to work with your strengths and weaknesses then I would strongly suggest that you use Ron's driving school I'm so thankful for you Ron and you have changed my life for the better.❤️

Fantastic experience: Ron is an extremely professional and knowledgeable instructor. After just 4 lessons, I felt really prepared to take my N test, and I passed on the first time! His calm demeanour assured me I was doing well, and he thoughtfully gave pointers diligently throughout the whole lesson. He was super available to me, even though I have a very busy schedule. Ron made sure he did everything in his power to help me pass my test, we’d go over things multiple times until I got it down-he does not want to waste your time! He is awesome, and I encourage you to invest the money into this, it’s worth it!
