Fantastic experience: We are so happy we decided to sign our daughter, Rachel, up with Yellow Umbrella Driving School. Rachel said that Kevin made the in class sessions interesting and as fun as possible. Michelle reached out to Rachel and organized all driving sessions with her and sent out reminders. Michelle made the process so easy. Dave provided most of Rachel’s in car sessions. She came home after each session singing Dave’s praises. My son's busy schedule was accommodated by the personnel, who showed great flexibility. His instructor was really competent and knowledgeable during the actual sessions. For a novice driver trying to build confidence, his patience, knowledge, and explanation were invaluable. Taking everything into account, I recommend the Yellow Umbrella to anyone looking to take up driving. Different from other driving schools, they stand out for their professionalism, knowledge, and commitment to students' success. I'm grateful to the whole staff for assisting my son in developing his driving confidence!

Fantastic experience: Going with Yellow Umbrella for our daughter was the best decision - the classroom sessions and parent info session were very well organized. Kevin was a great instructor, the in-car instruction was above and beyond what I'd heard about other schools. I loved having all the lessons booked at the start, very organized. All the extra tips he gave her have stuck, and her confidence just grew with each class. She passed first time, and although my parent-nerves kick in each time she's off by herself in the car, I'm much happier knowing she got the best training out there.

Fantastic experience: We would highly recommend Yellow Umbrella Driving School. They are very organized and provide excellent instruction. The schedule for all of my son's in-car lessons was provided as soon as he finished his in-class instruction; which is something our friends who used other companies had problems with. We did purchase the premium package and it was definitely worth it. We feel confident in our son's driving abilities; all thanks to Kevin and Dave!

Fantastic experience: I passed my G2 road test in first attempt thanks to Yellow Umbrella Driving School! My G1 was going to expire at the end of 2022 and I had never driven a car before. I found Yellow Umbrella Driving School online and signed up for their in-class sessions split over two weekends in September 2022. Kevin made the classroom session fun and engaging. He started from the absolute basics, taught us how to be defensive drivers, went over challenging scenarios we could encounter in daily driving and the stuff we need to know for the G2 road test. He is kind, patient and answers everyone's questions. He has a lot of experience as a driver and as an instructor, so he knows what he is talking about and he is a true professional. Kevin was also very helpful with scheduling my in-car lessons. There are 10 hours (7 sessions) of in-car instruction that needs to be completed after the in-class sessions. Since I was in a rush to get my G2, all my lessons were scheduled for October, November and December without any problems. Once scheduling was done, Michelle sent me the full schedule and reminders between my lessons which was super helpful! My in-car instructor, Dave, is simply the best and I had a lot of fun learning from him! He was very patient with me, provided a lot of support and did not make me do anything dangerous or I wasn't comfortable doing. He provided clear instructions and always coached me by pointing out my mistakes and providing defensive driving tips each lesson. He went over all the stuff I'd encounter during my road test and we practiced everything multiple times. He finds a way to relate to the student and if a certain driving skill does not stick, he tries a different way to teach it instead. Thanks to him, I progressively became more confident in my driving and passed the road test in my first attempt. He is a great guy and always makes the lessons fun! Overall, I can only say great things about Yellow Umbrella Driving School. Top-notch professionalism, instruction and care from the entire staff You will not regret learning from them and you will become a true defensive driver in the process, making the roads safer for everyone!

Fantastic experience: Going into driving school, I was told by some of my siblings it was going to be super boring. Kevin did everything to make sure that was NOT true, what should’ve been dreadful, was delightful, entertaining, and educational. Kevin was an amazing instructor, thank you.

Fantastic experience: i got my g2 today and couldn’t have done it without kevin & michelle from this driving school. both of them made me much more confident in driving and have taught me so much in such a short period of time. HIGHLY recommend everyone in the area to attend this driving school. for the class, kevin is very attentive to each student and attends to everyone’s needs and questions. in car, he is a helpful teacher who teaches you with kindness and also makes you laugh while doing so. same can be said about michelle. so thankful and grateful i chose this school!!!

Fantastic experience: Kevin provides extensive training for new drivers and covers more than I have seen other companies cover. My daughter really enjoyed working with him and also commented on how much he knows and how much she has learned from him. Even myself as an experienced driver learned something!

Fantastic experience: Great driving school! Kevin really cares about teaching kids how to drive properly, respectfully and safely. He takes them on roads less travelled, roads that can be intimidating and roads they will be driving every day. Highly recommend that you spend the money for better driving lessons. Fantastic experience: I used Yellow Umbrella for both my kids and they both passed first time with glowing colors - my sons examiner told him he was the best candidate he’d ever passed. The principal is a professional driver with excellent communication skills. He also tunes in to the kids quickly and adjusts his approach to suit the strengths and weaknesses of his pupils. Just the best.

Fantastic experience: My Daughter has gone through driver training with Yellow Umbrella Driving School. The business owner/class and Driving instructor Kevin approaches the learning experience for young drivers with a common sense approach. He is a very personable individual whom I would highly recommend for Parents in the Burlington/Hamilton area that want to put there aspiring young driver through a process that will give them a firm foundation for a safe and responsible driving future. Fantastic experience: My experience with Yellow Umbrella has been amazing! Because of the small class size, I was able to connect with everyone in the class, making the group feel like a small community. We were taught about defensive driving, different parts of the vehicle, winter driving dangers and so much more. Kevin is an amazing teacher who made the classes fun by sharing personnal stories and jokes with us.
