Negative experience: The instructors are really nice and know what they're doing. They do a great job. I made an appointment to get the last hours of training done for my class 1. Get here at 8 o'clock in the morning and no one's here. I wait for 30 minutes and no one shows up. Eventually I was able to call the office and find out that Pam gave me the wrong date. So my trip out here was a waste of gas and a waste of time. From reading reviews I've seen a lot of people that have had a very similar experience here.

Fantastic experience: Bill Lodge, From Derek Brown Driving school has to be one of the best in the country I must say . The way he build your confidence and making sure you turn out to be a safe driver is amazing . His vast knowledge and Experience in driving makes you feel so confident when he is by your side as a new driver . I will always recommend him 100%

Negative experience: I called to book a brush-up class for 11 a.m. the day before I had to leave town. Payment went through, and the appointment was confirmed over the phone—so I thought everything was set. On the day of the appointment, I was ready and waiting outside my house. After standing for around 10 minutes, I called to check in and was pleasantly surprised to learn that they had *forgotten* to book the appointment. It’s always nice when your plans get derailed through no fault of your own. I had taken time off work specifically for this, but I guess my schedule wasn’t a priority. The next available slot was at 8 a.m. the day I returned to Lethbridge, after getting back at 2 a.m. that morning and starting college later that day. It really added an extra layer of convenience to my already tight schedule.

Fantastic experience: Mandeep was my instructor and he had helped me a lot to accomplish my goal. He was very cooperative with regards to my timings of training. He was patient and polite to answer my doubts. And with his help I clears my Class 1 in one take. Thanks you Derek brown driving school.

Positive experience: Made my class 1 first try thanks to Dan in the classroom part of the training and Jacob for being a very good trainer, the scheduling could definitely use some improvement though.

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic group of instructors! They are both friendly and highly experienced in their work. My instructor, Mandeep Virk, was particularly kind and always willing to share useful tips and tricks for passing tests. This is especially beneficial for those in the Punjabi community who prefer to take driving classes in Punjabi. There's no longer a need to travel to Calgary for driving lessons. I highly recommend taking advantage of their services.

Fantastic experience: Such a great team of instructors. They are very friendly and experienced in their field or work. My instructor was Mandeep Virk, he is very nice and always humble to teach tips and tricks for passing tests. Specially, if someone wants to take driving classes in Punjabi ( Punjabi community). They are able to do so, no more need to go to Calgary for driving classes. Lastly, i suggest to take advantage of their services.

Fantastic experience: Really good staff and instructors, no language barriers you can get instructions in your language. I got my license in 5 weeks. Mandeep Singh is a really good instructor. All Punjabi speaking people should contact Mandeep Singh.

Fantastic experience: Had Dan for the in class training and part of my in truck training, Daniel Wolf was also was also a trainer of mine, great experience, due to the amazing training they offered was able to pass my drive rest first try. Definitely recommend them!

Negative experience: We used Derek Driving school for our employee’s class one training and were very disappointed. The trainer was very unprofessional and often inappropriate. The scheduling was very inconvenient and it took a long time to be able to finish the course and finally take the test after many more rescheduled dates. I would not recommend Derek’s Driving School and hope to use Gateway in the future!

Fantastic experience: Dan was my classroom instructor and he was great. He had lots of super valuable tips for when your working on the road. Dan W was my driving instructor and thanks to him and his skill as an instructor I was able to pass my class 1 road test on the first try. All of the instructors are super nice and all have decades worth of experience. If you’re in Lethbridge I would highly recommend this school for getting your class 1.

Fantastic experience: Such a great driving school, all the instructors are respectful, so friendly, and really look after that they teach you to their best standards. I would highly recommend them, I had such a blast training with them and I passed my class one test on my first attempt due to their exceptional trainers. As well as the owner and the staff for going all out to make sure all ends are met. Two claps go out to this school.

Negative experience: I wanted to make a appointment for class 3 and everything was set then when I get there they say I don’t have a appointment and I don’t live close I went for nothing on that part I don’t recommend but no clue how the instructors are I went with some other place

Fantastic experience: This company is absolutely amazing. The people there, from the ground up are the most kindhearted people ive ever met. Everyone cares about your well being & wants you to succeed. The owner is such a humble person too. I stay in contact with all the guys that trained me, they’re like family to me now. From beginning to end it was extremely enjoyable to be there, being trained by these guys. They all have a sense of humour & are so easy going. Would recomend this company for any of your drivers classes. Im sad i have my license now because i enjoyed being there so much. Everyone to do with this company in lethbridge is such an incredible person. Id like to thank everyone that helped me get my license. Come here to be a person not another number. 10/10 driving school.

Negative experience: Normally I wouldn't say anything but as a professional driver isn't it important to know how to turn the lights on at night? Tonight would be the 3rd time I have seen one of your trucks driving around in the dark with no lights

Fantastic experience: 100000% Recommended. 1.- The cost is cheaper than in other places. 2.- It is faster than other academies. 3.- Good communication, although my English is not very good, they were patient so I could understand everything. In fact, there are many good reasons for people who want to get the course for their class 1, I recommend this place!
