Fantastic experience: Rob is really good instructor. i passed my test in first attempt.the way he teach you its perfect technique’s

Negative experience: No proper training given by Rob. He was too cautious only to save the Gas. Was not serious enough to focus on the rules that must be followed. He doesn't care to get the license. Also, note that, the insurance companies will not give you 20% or 10% for the completion certificate. Recently I took insurance from TD and they gave just 2% for the certificate. So, do not waste your money just for the certificate.

Fantastic experience: Best and the most in-expensive Driving Course in Canada and yes its not just in New Brunswick- Moncton but yes in whole of Canada. If you are serious about getting your license in Canada. Just join Dornan Academy of Defensive Driving School. Team is led by Blaine and Wendy awesome people and excellent Driving Instructor - Robert Sir - Gem of a human and the best you can get as an instructor. I would give 10 Stars for the team !!! Note: I cleared my driving test today and i highly recommend their service.

Fantastic experience: Awesome course. Great instructors with fun personalities. Lots of riding practice to build up your confidence in riding. Highly recommend.

Positive experience: Mr. Rob is an excellent teacher who is also pleasant and patient. He makes learning a pleasurable experience. Wendy, the driving school's owner, is also kind and helpful. I had a fantastic time. I would strongly advise everyone to use it.

Negative experience: I have paid in full a 2 months agoish and still haven’t gotten my first lesson, I was told my instructor would call he never did, they said I didn’t do a test (I did btw) and I said I would do it again and to email me they never did, people a grade lower than me already have there licence and I can’t even get my lessons that were paid for (quick to take money, slow in every other way)

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with dornan driving school. They are very professional and my instructor Rob is one of the best teachers around who is very friendly, good mentor and a very patient guy. Also the owner of the driving school Wendy is very sweet and helpful lady. I had a great experience. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Positive experience: Having read a few negative reviews,and experiencing delays in between our email and phone call communications ourselves, I was skeptical of their business and their intents. However, once we managed to sort things out,we were very pleased with their service, program and instructor. They were encouraging when my son had questions about his booklet,and my son very much enjoyed his in car instructor and overall experience . Fantastic experience: So far so great people! I have been chatting back and forth with Blaine and Wendy all winter asking questions and they answer within 10 minutes every time! If there teaching is and indication to there answering all my crazy questions without delay or smart remarks then it should be a great course! They have kept me updated all the way threw the covid 19 crisis!

Fantastic experience: Blain is really straight forward, made my whole class well aware that he's here to help, and WANTS to see us pass. Him and his wife are very welcoming and I would recommend to anyone looking for a good place to learn.

Negative experience: Kept grabbing the wheel and using the brake while I was driving and while I was practicing my parallel parking. When I went for my test I got it on the first try! My other friends weren’t happy with the service either. Whenever I’d go for my in cars he was the one asking me how many hours I had left, wasn’t organized at all. Talking on the phone about legal matter while I was in the car with him and was trying to get me to advertise his business to my school for him. He also made prejudice comments while my friend was doing her in cars with him. Disgusting. Definitely would not recommend to anyone

Negative experience: A man driving a vehicle with the name Dornan Academy Driving School partially blocked my driveway, when I asked him to move, his response was "I'm right here". I responded you're a driving instructor. He did not move his vehicle. He waited until the student driver to showed up and the student driver moved the vehicle. Apparently he doesn't understand not to block driveways.

Negative experience: Negative 5 Star Rating!!! New Drivers BEWARE. This company will find any excuse to give you the run around when it comes to your 10 hours in car. Also, there is NOTHING Defensive about their driving training techniques. Unless you consider being hollered at by a so called professional trainer a driving technique! To put the Cherry on the Cake. You have to figure out a way to get to and from Assumption Place, and they only take you driving around and around the "Driver's Test Route". Seriously wouldn't recommend this company to anybody. Spend the 50$ extra on the other company... It will cost you that alone in gas and taxis getting to and from Assumption Place, and you won't have to deal with these ignorant people or their demeaning behaviour while trying to learn to drive!

Fantastic experience: Well I took the motorcycle training course and they were super with me let me do a payment plan to cover the cost and still haven't gotten my motorcycle license but I will that was 2 years ago lol they r the best

Negative experience: The trainer was parked on a crosswalk, and I had to walk around him (while 8 months pregnant) to try to get across the street safely. When I pointed out that he was parked on a crosswalk (and texting on his phone), he flipped me off. Giving the company a pretty bad image is probably not the way to go.

Negative experience: I went here when he first started in Moncton, before the owner got any staff, this would have been about 5 years ago, give or take a year.. He always told me he'd take students to smaller towns (shediac/pettitcodiac) to ensure a higher pass rate, how he had the lowest rates around, kept blowing up my phone asking if I was recommending my friends.. I could not handle how rude he was, did not pay attention to student, always grabbing the wheel, slamming on brakes, yelling, cursing, rushing.. One time he picked me up, and I noticed he was in his bare feet, told me his sandals were hurting his feet! Then he got really mad at me for having boots on.. At least I don't have sandals caught under the pedals! Hardly any city driving with him either, mostly rural, he'd pick me up near my highschool, then direct me to the closest highway.. I switched driving schools even though I paid in full with this guy, got no refund. He kept harassing my phone after I quit, then harassed my parents phone, who then told him I worked for my own money and not to bother them. Glad I got him out of my hair and switched driving schools, never had any other instructor grab the wheel or slam on the brakes like that. Been driving ever since.. After I got my certificate for defensive driving, I've never had any accidents. If anyone would ask me about this business, I would recommend to stay far away, if you've given your number out already, put him on blocked call. Edit: I accidentally gave him 2 stars, changed it to 1 star

Fantastic experience: My experience with Blaine was very good. I am glad I took the course. Years ago I took a course and I never finish it because the instructor where not friendly and helpful. Blaine help me improve my driving skills and I am so happy , I went with the driving school. In order to learn you have to know your mistakes and how to improve them. He was very helpful and I am happy that I stuck with the course. I would recommend to anyone to take this course you do learn a lot on how to be a better driver.

Negative experience: Blaine'sis a no show con artist he screwed my girlfriend over and refused to give her her certificate she had to fight and argue to get it I even called and tried to reason with him but he told me he'd have me charged with harrasment iv also written another review and he threathed to have me charge with defflimation of character if you are gonna run a business poorly you better expect bad reveiws hope you read this Blaine I hope you go out of business you conning theif

He will do everything he can to help you succeed. I would highly recommend this business to anyone looking for a reliable, professional instructor who will go the extra mile.

Negative experience: Unprofessional. Set an appointment to meet him for lesson - mis communication on where to meet so we both thought each other was a no show (I was by pylons for parallel parking and him in market parking lot) and I called him and he already left said he couldn't help me and hung up on me. No accommodations to finish the remaining 45 minutes of lesson or rebook. I wouldn't recommend this driving school unless you are in a pinch. Even then!
