Fantastic experience: Naved was strict as a teacher, which really helped me out, as I have been driving in the Philippines for over 15 years, and had habits that were difficult to let go of. So he rewrote my programming, so to speak, by breaking down maneuvers into steps I had to perfect (pulling out of a curb involved 5 steps, switching lanes has 4), and we would reset if I got things wrong. We aimed for perfection, but he was always saying that during the test, mistakes were bound to happen, so just keep moving forward and do what we practiced. So even though it was tough, he'd encourage and instill confidence all throughout the lessons. I got 5 lessons and the Road Test Package, all reasonably priced, and the Road Test Package was a sweet deal considering the lessened stress you get when you practice all the moves you'll be asked to do. As it turned out, the Road Test was much much easier compared to our lessons, so I got the Class 5 license in 1 take (this is a bit of a flex). So if you're from another country that has a different driving culture compared to the one here in Canada, I would highly recommend getting a lesson with Naved. He will be strict, and you might get confused as to why he is strict (be patient as well when he discusses traffic concepts, you can ask him to repeat explanations if they weren't fully understood), but I've ridden in cars with drivers who don't do shoulder checks, and right now, I can't stop shoulder checking, even when I'm just walking. Gotta look out for your blindside. Thanks, Naved, those lessons and the Road Test Package were so worth it!

Fantastic experience: The instructor here Naved, is a really good person and teacher. I was quite nervous when I first started but thanks to him I wasn’t very nervous. From the beginning he emphasized the various safety features of the vehicle, including instructor side brake/accelerator, and a full coverage of insurance in the case of any accident. He is attentive and a good teacher. I like to believe I learned how to drive within 10 hours from him. I would presume 10-15 hours would be a good time frame for most learners. Naved is a former ICBC instructor so he knows all the tricks and rules for the road test. I highly recommend this program for anyone interested in learning to drive, and carefully learn all the rules of driving.
