Fantastic experience: Ive got the pleasure to take behind the wheel, and I am pleased. It has helped me me feel more confident in driving, and has allowed me to learn proper etiquette of the road. Sandra has been accommodating as well with lessons, and values being safe on the road.

Fantastic experience: Sandra is a professional and knowledgeable instructor who has been so patient with me. If you want to be a safe driver and pass your road test . Then, behind the wheel is the best choice.

Fantastic experience: Really great lessons helped me learn and helped me pass

Negative experience: I am a current student and it's true, all the positive reviews were family and friends. Sandra yells and calls it her 'speaking' voice. If you have experienced a similar thing report the issues to the MTO. They need to know what Sandra is doing. Drove off in midst of our driving lesson saying she is offended that I told her that she yells at me. Scammer, she said we don't work as student and driver- and there is no other driving instructor, so now I have been defrauded of over 1000cad for the program fee except if I want to continue in a hostile teaching environment while driving on the road which is a big hazard on the road . She is the only one running this driving school so there's no one else to talk to except her. This needs to be closed down. Sandra teaches like you already know how to drive, so why is it a driving school? There are other complaints about this school scamming students (who are not family and friends to her).

Fantastic experience: I booked 10 hrs of in-car lessons to brush up on my driving skills and get city driving experience (I’m from a small town). Sandra was an amazing instructor! She is very knowledgeable and great at breaking down skills into manageable chunks. Most importantly, she could identify all of my bad driving habits, explain WHY they were dangerous, and help me develop safer habits. I just finished my last lesson, and I feel very confident about driving around Thunder Bay. I highly recommend this driving school to anyone who wants to learn how to be a safe driver!

Fantastic experience: I PASSED on my first try! I used to have my license years ago but just because I know how to drive, doesn’t mean that I am road safe for today’s standards. And I wasn’t……I had acquired bad habits that could have put myself, my children and others at risk. Miss Sandra was very patient with me and her teaching techniques were very easy to understand. She gave me the confidence/experience I needed and now I AM LEGAL TO DRIVE!!!! I am forever grateful for your expert knowledge and can’t wait to see you for my G. Your an incredible soul Miss Sandra

Fantastic experience: I was very afraid of driving and never thought that I would get a license. But Sandra taught me how to drive safe in a really good way and then I got some confidence to drive and got my g2 license. She explains every rules and regulations and make sure that we drive safe. I made so many mistakes during in-car lessons, but still she kept good patience. I am happy that I got to learn driving from a wonderful teacher.

Fantastic experience: I am lucky that I got in touch with this school. Sandra is really great. Best thing about her is that she knows how to be a great teacher and a friend at the same time. I don't think she is kind of a person who keeps grudges or anything like that. Way to go Sandra!!!!

Negative experience: International students DONOT go here! Students from INDIA have been cheated on money and classes multiple times. The owner is rude, selfish and scammer.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Behind the Wheel Driving School Academy was great. My instructor was Laurie and she's an amazing instructor. She built my confidence and kept reminding me that I can be a good driver. She's kind and patient which really helped me to learn from her and gain confidence to drive. I was directed by my friend to choose BTW and I would recommend the same to any new drivers. Thank you Laurie! I admire your teaching skills:)

Fantastic experience: I had a very positive experience with BTW. My Instuctor was Sandra, and she was crucial in helping me improve my driving skills and pass my road test. Would highly recommend!!!

Negative experience: Stay away from these cheaters, she took the money and didn't give any lessons, didn't return a single email and in the meantime we cleared the drive test now she says she can't refund anything, it is against the law, will file a complaint in small court

Fantastic experience: Sandra and Laurie were very helpful, kind instructors. The in-class learning and 10 hours of driving practice helped me pass my G2 test on my first try and have made me a very confident driver. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a driving school!

Fantastic experience: My Driving instructor previously was working for Drive wise his name is Jason he is such a great instructor, now that he is making a new driving school that is going to be the cheapest in town i would recommend going to his new school he is one great person, he helped teach me how to drive properly and safely and so i can pass my test knowing I'm a good driver

Fantastic experience: Hundred percent recommended for anyone looking for driving lessons. My instructor Suzanne is a very patient and attentive always answering all my redundant questions. She is a thorough professional having sound knowledge of her work as well as very down to earth person. Initially I was a bit nervous however she made me drive with confidence. I would recommend Behind the Wheel driving school with Suzanne as an instructor for everyone who lacks confidence in driving.

Fantastic experience: I completed my driving lessons with Jason who was truly a pleasure to learn from. He consistently exhibited a calm and in control demeanour while in the vehicle. I found these lessons to be exceedingly more effective than the practice I had done with my parents - which was often stressful for both of us. He often found a variety of ways to explain concepts to me if I had difficulty with a task. I would recommend this instructor and this school to anyone looking for an amazing first experience with driving.
