Ali Driving School

Negative experience: I will not recommend this instructor to anyone. My main problem was his lack of patience and his anger while giving classes. Will not even let you ask any single question about driving rules or whatever and will finish the class before 40 minutes when the class was promised for one hour. Please do not make fee upfront (my biggest mistake)else your money is blocked. Any good instructor will ask you to pay class by class because they know they are good enough as a teacher so people will come back to Them but sadly thats not the case with him.I signed up for 10 classes and paid upfront at the first class(like he demands). Till 8 classes he said i am driving good but right after my 8 classes when i started asking him when should we book for the exam, he simply said you need alot more classes and you dont know driving. What were you doing as a teacher till 8 classes ? Simply because he want to run his business and make more money. I have often heard him giving the same feedback to others on phone call while he was sitting with me during my training class. At last, he said winters have arrived so i am switching my business you can take refund for the last two remaining classes. Simply an utter waste of time and money.

Fantastic experience: If you want to pass your G2 or G test in first go, Ali driving school is the place. Ali has been a wonderful instructor, with great knowledge of all the rules, and he patiently will teach you and correct your mistakes. I cleared my G2 test in one go and I would recommend him for driving lessons.

Fantastic experience: I’m an experienced driver from India and he helped me to learn and practice the little differences for the test in Ontario. Ali bhai figured out my mistakes, corrected it. He is reasonably priced. I took only 1 lesson with him and passed my G2 exam on first attempt. If you’re looking for experienced instructor in reasonable charge, then he’s the one of them.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing! Clear instructions, doesn't rush your learning, walks you through the logic and habits in step by step manner that's easy to follow! Very flexible around your schedule for booking practice! I've had lessons with 3 other instructors before and they didn't even come close to Ali's teaching quality. Being a first time driver can be nerve-wracking, Ali keeps you calm the entire time.

Fantastic experience: Ali bhai is a professional driving instructor with detailed instructions for every lesson. He identifies the mistakes and conveys it professionally. He tries hard and will make you practice repeatedly until you are comfortable with the lesson. I just got my G2 with his help. He is reasonably priced. Negative experience: Waste of time and money. I toke few lessons from ALI. Nothing wrong with his driving skill but he waste my time by telling me not to worry about my G2 road test. When I asked about booking a G2 Road test he said he will book a road test for me. I think, he just wanted to keep his business going by giving me more lessons. So he never booked any drive test for. Off course, I could book a drive test by myself but he was my instructor so I trusted him. Now here I am still waiting for a drive test scheduled. Hopping for the lockdown to end. And top of that I found his leaflet at my apartment’ G2 lesson 30$ per hour while he charged me 35$ per hour.

Negative experience: He cheats people, DO NOT BELIEVE HIM!

Negative experience: Do not believe a word this man says. He is thoroughly unprofessional and a cheat. Here are my experiences with him. 1. He promises you 1 hour lessons and gives you all the assurances in the world. But when it comes to it, he trains you for less than 40 minutes every session. Sometimes he stops and does his groceries during your session or takes a long smoking break 2. He schedules your sessions at the very last minute. And sometimes you reach Pape station and he then cancels your session citing very childish excuses like "my car needs to be fixed" when you can see him teaching another student at the same time. 3. I have witnessed him lie to other students on the phone about training and session bookings. Just blatant lies that He is out of town or that He is not keeping good health 4. I had recommended him to a friend (the biggest mistake of my life). He promised my friend proper 10 training classes. My friend had 3 months to go for his G2. He gave him a few training classes and then ditched him last moment, did not even return his money. My friend had to find a new instructor within 2 weeks of his G2 test 5. He promises you drive test bookings anytime anywhere, but that too is a scam. He cons his students into believing that they are not ready for their tests, then he swaps their bookings with those who need earlier drivetest bookings. HE IS A CHEAT 6. His car is filthy, always smells of cigarettes and is surely a COVID hazzard.

He knows about all driving laws, knows about the routes and what really happens to you on road test day, he could help you simulate everything and with 100% confidence pass your G class road test.
