Fantastic experience: Papa joe is the best trainer out here in winnipeg. He teaches the parallel parking in such an easy way that you can get it done in the very first try without any extra pulls. I felt so confident when i did my road test because he was there cheered me up before my test. I felt great about being able to do the parallel parking in the first try and then the whole test went really smooth

Negative experience: How does papa joe get so many good reviews is beyond me! I felt really uncomfortable and stressed during my lessons due to his impatience, screaming and bad communication. Not to mention the ''wrong vibes'' towards females like my self. Definitely can't recommend him and this school!

Negative experience: I don't understand why and how this guy and his driving school has any good reviews. Just like everyone reading through them for the first time, I read through them and I was optimistic about getting a great instructor. During the lessons I felt really uncomfortable as he was very touchy-feely, unprofessional and impatient. I will not recommend this instructor to anyone. He's not very clear with his instructions so every lesson felt stressful. I had to change to another driving school to get my licence peacefully. I would only recommend him to anyone who enjoys pouring money down the drain.

Paralel parking was so easy to learn because of his teaching techniques. Also they have affordable prices for learning packages. I highly recomend Papa Joe.

Fantastic experience: I failed my road test A LOT. I have been practicing with friends, boyfriends, family members and occasionally some instructors time to time, but I always ended up failing the day of the test. I actually failed so many times, MPI prevented me from booking another test until I take a mandatory 2h drive course with a certifed instructor. This is how I ended up contacting Elegance driving school and setting up an appointment with Papa Joe. During these two hours I learned more about driving that I have ever learn in years and I decided to take 3 others lessons with him. THREE LESSONS! And finally, I was able to pass my road test! I was so happy that I almost cried. Papa Joe is a profesionnal instructor and he is going to polish you until your driving skills are impeccable. Best thing that ever happened to me in a while. I highly recommend his services ;-)

Fantastic experience: As a new comer to Manitoba, Canada I had to go for complete Driving Licencing - to pass the Knowledge test and to do the Road test. Despite of having a licence more then 30 years and driving hundreds of thousands kilometers I accepted advise of a friend of mine and took lessons with "Papa" Joe. And I did not regret at all. First and the most important is that the lessons were absolutely professional and I got new skills, a lot tips and tricks which helped me to pass my exam with excellent marks. Also very important is that his pleasant character made from those lessons friendly meetings which used to be always at my convenience - out of working hours even on Sundays! Highly recommended !
