Negative experience: It was such a horrible experience, it's hard even to know where to start. The instructor kept canceling lessons last minute, sometimes just 30 minutes before the lesson was supposed to start. He ignores calls and messages and it might take him more than a week to respond to a message about the next lesson. Even when the lesson is scheduled, he always insisted hard on the schedule and lesson duration that worked only for him. After graduation, it took him more than 3 weeks to send my papers to Service Ontario. The worst part was that I paid for the car to use for my driving test, and despite two upfront reminders about my exam date and time, he sent me a message less than a day before the exam saying he wouldn't make it. I had to call him and beg him on the phone for 20 minutes to actually show up. To make things worse, this guy is the only employee at school - he's an instructor and he's an owner. So you can't even ask to change your driver or talk to someone about his behaviour. You will be better with any other school in the area. Keep as far away from this school as you can - it's not worth the stress or money.

Regardless, we want to remind you that you successfully passed your road test with us on your first attempt and all necessary paperwork was completed accordingly due to our team. Your review is highly misleading and omits critical details. After completing your lessons, we repeatedly requested your driver’s license to finalize your certification, but you refused to provide it for weeks without any valid reason. This unnecessary delay was entirely on your part. Furthermore, despite our instructor's efforts to offer comprehensive lessons and finish your training efficiently, you insisted on 1-hour lessons every day instead of the recommended 2-hour sessions. This unreasonable demand disrupted scheduling and extended your training unnecessarily, while you were being rude and racist. We remain committed to providing professional and efficient service, but your behavior made it difficult to meet these standards in your case. Sincerely, Durham Drivers Academy

Fantastic experience: Saaid is an excellent driver and I can see a HUGE difference in my abilities from the 1st lesson to my last one. I’ll update the review when I take my G2 but his instruction has been excellent and he accommodated my need for a quick pass, so I can drive my wife to the hospital. Thank you for everything Saaid! PS: I did a lot of digging on various schools and they have by far the best price point. My wife got the same instruction from young drivers and it was literally triple the cost.

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE!!!! My driving instructor stopped booking me appointments and began to randomly call or text me asking if i am free for lessons the day of and then he completely forgot about me and ignored my text asking for lessons. I started my lessons in summer 2022 and still haven’t finished them. I had one instance where he did not show up without any warning at all and i also had over a month between lessons and he had to tell my that my driving was bad as if it’s not cause i had huge gaps between lessons. It is January and i have not finished my lessons, my last was in July. My driving instructor would also ask me multiple times why i was nervous which absolutely does not help at all.

Negative experience: I would not recommend this driving school to anybody. I passed my G2 yesterday ONLY because I got private lessons from somebody else who actually teaches you how to drive. The instructor was 30 minutes to an hour late every single appointment, he never taught any techniques, tried to rush me through left hand turns, spent 20 minutes of every session parked at a gas station or Tim Hortons so he could get himself a coffee, and was on the phone often. I didn't even learn how to park in a parking lot or back into a spot, and his communication to book an appointment was terrible. He also made me write my original google review while he was in the car with me before we finished our final lesson and he put my paperwork through(I worried it could impact my certification so I gave him 5 stars, that's why it's edited) very unprofessional. Spend the extra money and go elsewhere.

Positive experience: I got my g2 reasonably quickly, there were some cancellations and a bit of a hard time trying to book in car but for the most part Syed is a good teacher, very calm and easy going!
Positive experience: This driving school was amazing. I learned so much here and am 100% confident and prepared for my g2 test. Syed is great for teaching, he doesn’t yell and shows you exactly how to do something.
