Negative experience: I'm so disappointed!!! I booked a private class with the 'Instructor' Ryan and the session turned out to be a marketing strategy to get me into enrolling in their school and all i wanted was to just get some basic knowledge of driving in canada since i have a driver's license from my home country, I didn't even get the full hour I paid for coz he dropped me back to my house 15 mins before the end of the session. He tells you how bad of a driver you are and he's always insisting for you to enroll into their school, Don't waste your money like I did...I read the reviews online but decided to give them a chance anyways and it turned out to be the worst and unprofessional thing I have ever experienced.

Fantastic experience: I had Michael as my driving instructor for half of my lessons and he taught me how to drive very well while showing me a lot of patience and always stayed very calm which helped me a lot. Thanks to Michael I passed my G2 first try!

Fantastic experience: I went through ricks driving school, and I 100 percent recommend it. I had Michael for 3 days only and he taught me everything I needed to know in such a short span of time. He prepared me so well for my g2 test and I seriously wouldn’t have done it without him. He’s a great supporter and was my favourite instructor of all times. THE absolute best.

Fantastic experience: I had an great experience learning to drive with Micheal, he made me feel comfortable and explained everything clearly in detail.

Negative experience: Micheal is SO rude. Cannot even begin to explain how abrupt and awful he is to the r students. 2 of my best and closest friends are in his car with him for lesson and get treated awfully from what I hear, he yells and makes you feel like you suck at driving. Actually insane how someone can be that rude to kids who are in this program to LEARN how to drive and how he expects them to just know already. Don’t recommend.

Positive experience: Me and my driving teacher Michael had fun and got to know each other real quickly, he’s fun but stern and gives as much freedom when driving for the first time in a while. Would fully recommend him.

Fantastic experience: I had my driving test coming up on very short notice when i started the in car lessons and my instructor Michael did as much as possible to make sure I passed despite the short window of time, and was remarkably patient every step of the way.

Negative experience: I had lesson with Ryan who is extremely jittery and rude, a pure embodiment of the small man complex. I was berated and yelled at for an hour with words of discouragement and discrimination. When I mentioned my heritage I was met with a look of disgust and hate. If you want an instructor who is patient understanding and nurturing go somewhere else. P.S. racism won’t get you far with your clientele.

Tracey, no doubt, School must be proud of you. You may ask what you did?:-) You have just shared all your knowledge, tips and tricks, my wife had to be aware of prior to her G exam. You have made her feel confident and, believe me, upon completion of that lesson my wife was so reasonably confident! You made what I was trying to do within the last few months just in one lesson. You may say, that is ok, but this is about your talent and not everyone can do what you did :-). Our warm regards to your Administrators. They reacted quickly and connected us with Tracey within a very few days. That was great and super helpful! Again, thanks a lot Team!

Negative experience: I had a lesson with Ryan who is extremely rude. Also, he was yelled at every time while driving. He has no patience. His behaviour was like we were taking free lessons in his car but we paid for it. He was trying to break my confidence and told me you had an accident while Driving test. But I passed my G exam in the first trial very very smoothly. So I don't recommend this driving class there are several choices now in Orillia.

Negative experience: Disappointed tried to get a driving instructor contacted them no answer got hold of one sent them what they wanted still no answer .contacted young driver's moving forward withthem.

Negative experience: Terrible experiance. At first i wanted an online course but was put on the in class one. I got no dates of when the classes were. After everything shut down i tried to get a driver but the one i was assigned was no longer working there. It took 2 weeks and multiple calls to reach someone to fix it. I mentioned i would be moving away and needed my driving done but it never did no matter how many times i called. I requested a refund but they apparently they have a policy for no refund after 30 days. I should bot be out 800 dollars for something that was not my fault. They are unprofessional and not worth the time or the effort because they do not care for you.

Negative experience: I had a fine time with this school until I had finished my driving lessons. After I had completely finished everything I was told that my paperwork would be submitted the following Saturday, it is now a month later and after a trip to service Ontario I am told that they haven’t submitted anything.

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed and angry with Rick’s Driving School. AVOID THIS BUSINESS! They seemed decent at first, but my daughter had a brain injury part way through her course. She informed Rick, who told her it would not be a problem. By the time she was well enough to resume, COVID was well under way and there was no in-car instruction. When lockdowns would allow her to return, Rick told her she had lost her money and/or ability to finish the course. THE COURSE WE PAID FOR. Despite numerous phone calls, we were never able to resolve this. No apology. No refund. No in-car instruction. Do yourself a favour and hunt for another driving school.

Fantastic experience: I am glad to share my experience with RICK driving school. When I joined the school I was almost new comer in canada. I got my G license within 3 months from the landing in Canada just because of RICK Sir. Very very professional driving instructor. 100 out of 100.

Fantastic experience: Rick's driving school went above and beyond for my son. He taught him by the book lessons so that when it came time for his road test he was well prepared. Thanks Rick for running a top notch school. I highly recommend them.

Negative experience: Changed me half way, with another driving instructor. He was new and made horrific remarks and made me feel so uncomfortable in the car. I did not even want to drive in the car again. I went in to the lesson just having anxiety and being terrified. Walking back being upset, and not confident at all. He went off on me screaming as well. I took this up with Rick and got no response. THEY ALL JUST WANT MONEY, BUT YOU DO NOT GET YOUR MONEYS WORTH. DON'T TAKE THIS!! GO TO BARRIE OR SOMEWHERE ELSE! They are all nice and sweet in the beginning, but they do not care at all!

Fantastic experience: Rick's Parallel Parking technique saved the day for me. I had my G Test booked in Orillia but was very nervous about my parallel parking. I almost never use it but had to perform it successfully for my G. I just spent an hour with him and he showed me the simplest, easiest parallel parking technique that made it look as if i have always been parking that way. He is a great, level-headed, practical teacher. Recommend him!

Fantastic experience: Took a driving lesson before my G test with the man himself (Rick) in Orillia. His no-nonsense, "tough love" approach helped me stay focused and motivated. He gave really useful tips about the roads and highways around the test centre. Also helped calm my nerves with a pep talk at the end of the lesson (man's a hockey and baseball coach, so go figure). He doesn't sugar coat anything and bluntly tells you what you need to improve on. Tells you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. Money and time well spent. Passed the G test and the lesson with Rick definitely helped. Can't recommend him enough.
