Fantastic experience: Phil in Owen Sound was a great instructor to have. Learning to operate a heavy piece of equipment is no simple manner. However, Phil, being calm, professional, and knowledgeable in his line of work ensures you will overcome any obstacle that may come your way. Not only have we been prepared for our drive test, real world scenarios are constantly being taught for all kinds of AZ trucking and loaded trailer situations. In addition, Phil has been able to answer every question thrown his way - whether he’d answer it on the spot or after further investigation. Phil has been a great asset to my AZ MELT learning and I will continue to use the skills he taught me in my future endeavours in livestock transport.

Negative experience: No teaching skills . One of my friend took classes from them they don’t teach well. Except teaching driving she tell everything whats going in her life . They should be teaching more and tell everything to students. Took 5 classes didn’t teach parallel parking .

Negative experience: I wish i could have given the negative rating they always have problems in scheduling and if you’re scheduling lessons as per the availability over their in the system right away instructor gonna cancel it and gonna give some excuses when you’re asking officials they are asking they don’t have anyone else even though for the test he was fine earlier and is telling now he have any other person’s test like now I can’t even reschedule my test I am seriously thinking how can they put another person in trouble like this for the tests and can cancel the classes even 15-20 minutes before the class Really very poor system and they don’t even care to answer the phone calls And when they answer calls and the lady on the call was showing tantrums and was rudest person in the ever got in my life

Fantastic experience: Marta Tiveron is awesome Admin here as she is so humble and have a lot of patience. And there instructor Sheila have a lot of knowledge and she make you learn from the minute you are in the class

Positive experience: I recently passed my Az roadtest, all thanks to Mr Phil Start, my in-truck trainer...all out great guy, very knowledgable and patient. Management could be a little more organized, by possibly hiring more staff, instead of laying them off, my trainer was a trooper as they bounced him around from Owen Sound, to London, to Cambridge....etc...once again, Thanks Phil, I consider you not only very professional, but also my friend!

Negative experience: I was trained in Owensound. So the first in-car lesson, my instructor went to pick me up with anger and blamed me for making her driving a long way to get me. Then I never used the pick-up service later on. Then the last in-car training started with her saying "ohh I was expecting some Chinese snacks. I liked trying new things". I felt awful. Then finally I graduated from the driving school, and took a G2 road test. You know what, I have never been told that I can only use the 90 degree reverse parking. I had been practicing diagonal reverse parking method which the instructor taught me. I failed the exam and told the driving school they were not giving the proper training. THEY INGNORED ME!

Positive experience: Sheila is a wonderful instructor! The in-car portion of this program is fantastic. My daughter was instructed in a way that was effective and friendly, thanks Sheila!! The company could use some work on the administrative portion of this program. I found them to be unorganized, not familiar with our geographic area for booking in-car lessons, unavailable to speak to when questions would arise, calls not returned in a timely manner as well as lengthy wait times on hold to have the opportunity to leave a message.

Fantastic experience: Had some problems on the beginning, but management contacted me and fixed everything. Want to Thank especially to Marta Tiveron she was so nice and helpful. I have couple friends and family members who also took the course and they don't speak language very well she was always there to help and fix if there was any misunderstanding.

Negative experience: My AZ Driver instructor in Owen Sound was exceptional and I learned A LOT. how ever the equipment training was the biggest waste of money and time in history. The trainer had no interest in doing any training what so ever. They wanted me to drive an hour and a half to Orillia a couple to every day of the week for a 3 HOUR SHIFT OF TRAINING. The office is a disorganized gong show. But the guy running that pit in oro needs to be replaced with someone who wants to train people.

Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience with TTCC, my in car instructor was Sheila Klerks and she was abouslutely amazing. I really felt that I learned a lot and she was so nice and helpful while I worked through my driving insecurities. I definitely recommend taking your driver's ed with this amazing company.

Fantastic experience: Sheila Klerks instructor She is a good Instructor for the training student drive I like having her for my training student drive she has a lot of stuff about drive and she will always tell you when you have to change lines when you are driving and when you do so you will have to use your left blinker when your changing lines and then she will tell you when you need to move back to the right line when it’s safe so and you will have to use your right blinker and you will become friends with her while your driving with her she is a very nice and friendly instructor it was my firs t time ever meet her

Fantastic experience: I graduated from this course and passed my AZ drive test today. Was a great experience and had a great in truck instructor Shawn Norton! Six weeks training in total two weeks in class and 4 weeks in truck. Dane Archande was an excellent in class instructor and kept us focused and entertained in the 7 hr classes online. Megan Hayter at head office in North Bay was amazing and really helped me with getting signed up and making adjustments to schedules when needed. Thank you very much to TTCC for giving me the skills to get my AZ in 6 weeks.

Negative experience: Such a terrible school to learn driving. Never will be recommending someone to this school. I paid a certain amount of fees before starting my beginner test but they keep asking for fees i paid eveytime but last time i ask the instructor can you please drop me 15 minutes early at my work now they asking for the full 1 hour fees again . Never go with them

Negative experience: Currently a student of this terrible school. I explained that I had a certain time schedule to work with. I was told it would work and can start Monday. I started and was told the class had started last week. I was given no direction, asked questions to try and get caught up and was simply told that it was covered in week 1. The trainer did little else but sit and gossip with students which had little to do with training. The brochure I was emailed stated unlimited simulator time.....good luck with that.....flat out false advertising. When questioned about it I am told unlimited simulator time for life after training. As I am in week 4 now, 2 weeks have been a complete and utter waste of time as i got maybe 12-15 minute simulator runs, a mid term test about things I want taught, and a video and test on cargo securement. That was the Barrie campus. the plan was always to transfer to Owen Sound and finish. My trainer has been great here, but it's a satellite off with no simulator time as only the trainers operate it and are training people in the trucks. It turns out my week 1 class for the course is now in week 5. Since I have complained about the way things have gone, head office is packing everything into 4 weeks now. oh.... they did offer to let me restart the course June 11, so I reminded them about my time schedule which they said could work with. it has been a joke. if I had a choice to do it again I would go with another company. there is no communication between their employees in the office or communication with students unless questioned about what's going on. Run from this money grabbing company as fast as you can because they do not give a flying #^&* about the students My answer to the owners comment... As stated, there was no communication as to how things were going to be handled. I was not informed that week one was going to be done until week 5 until the check was cashed. Had I known I would completely miss the most important week of information from the first week I would have gone with a different training company and planned accordingly. Yes I was told I could retake the course.....would that have helped my time schedule? Absolutely not!!!! I funded this training, not second career! I had a job and quit for this training! I am all in on this one shot! I was told it could be done... I wasnt told I would have to completely stress about why I was not being directed or train the first 2 weeks in barrie. why was I only given. a load securement video and test in week 2? Why did the trainer sit on his @$$ and gossip about stuff other than training me to catch me up day after day after day I stressed so much because I paid $8595 to not be trained in those 2 weeks? Don't try and be political and side step a major problem with your company!!!! Answer to the second reply.... not enough characters available for an explanation. you have my email....please contact me directly so I can explain in full detail to you how poorly this has been handled. Final update July 11 2018. Although the office part handled the scheduling terribly know my tight timeline, and the terrible trainer in The barrie office, the owen sound trainers were beyond exceptional! Thanks Al Stein and Traverse Macdonald! I passed my drivetest on a Thursday and started work on Monday. I wont even think about raising my review due to losing 2 weeks due to poor scheduling
