Fantastic experience: I highly recommend drivewise. The lesson were amazing in the in car lesson were also amazing. The instructor I had was Arsh Singh he is amazing and patience. He has taught me well and got my G2 on the first try so if you want to go to a good driving school you should go to drivewise

Fantastic experience: As per our son: Great classroom instruction and prep. Loved the simulation and incorporation of real world scenarios. In-car lessons with Johnny Lei were amazing! Very knowledgeable, personable and patient. Very prepared for the G2 test, and passed no problem on first try. We will definitely be using Drivewise in the next couple yrs for our daughter, and asking for Johnny Lei!!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with DriveWise! I especially recommend the instructor Johnny Lee. Great guy and knows his stuff about driving.

Negative experience: Sounded like a great place at first. Once they take your money, it goes down hill from there. The in-class was good and on line. But when it comes to road. It's the worse. Classes are so far apart from eachother. (2 Classes 1 week then 3 weeks later you will have a 1 class) you never know when next road class is till days before. So if you have a job it's very hard to schedule work and driving class. They show you the exact route that your G2 will be. ( they are not to be doing that.) Half way through the all classes all of the sudden you get a new instructor. That teaches you totally different from the last one. Just seems like they are all over the place. Front desk seems like they are always in a mad mood. As they seem to give you attitude when you call in to ask additional questions.

Fantastic experience: I got my g2 on account of My instructor Johnny Le, who helped me very much. He taught me damn near everything I've learnt about driving and helped me with any issues I had. I would very highly reccomend that anyone books with him or Drivewise. My sister is also going with him!

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Drive Wise because the in class and car lessons kept my teenager engaged and excited for each lesson. It’s not very often a teen looks forward to attending a learning environment, however he found the staff relatable and more importantly very funny! He was surprisingly sad that his in car lessons were over. He would have loved to hang out with Johnny Lee for longer but he successfully obtained his G2 and completed his goals with Johnny. Worth every penny!

Fantastic experience: I'd like to thank everyone at DriveWise for their expertise and knowledge. I took the week long DZ course followed with 3 in cab training sessions and have nothing but good things to say. They throw a lot at you and see what sticks but wouldn't have it any other way. I passed my roadtest and now driving around a garbage truck for GFL environmental. Special thanks to Dave for the in class lessons, and John and a different Dave for the in cab lessons. Everyone was top notch. Keep the rubber on the road. Cheers

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing experience with my two instructors: Bill Bolton and Johnny Le. Both of these instructors were extremely patient. Both bring an amazing amount of knowledge to the table and are very passionate about what they do. Johnny in particular is always full of energy and goes above and beyond to help his students. He even created YouTube videos to map out the potential road test routes for his prospective students. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Fantastic experience: I do highly recommend, mostly Ryan who is patient, knowledgeable and very good instructor. The whole team is very good but having worked with Ryan I can say that I have been well trained and prepared for my G2. Got it on my first try. Thanks a lot Keep it up!

Fantastic experience: I would like to say how impressed I am with this driving school and my son’s instructor Ryan. My son Nicholas has Autism and decide to pursue his drivers licence. From the time he was in classroom to on the road instruction. Ryan went above and beyond in my opinion and worked with him to accommodate and make him feel comfortable. I would highly recommend them for any young driver. Thank you to everyone who helped Nicholas in his achievement.

Fantastic experience: I don’t know where to start, I come in to this extremely nervous not sure if I would be able to pass the requirements to even be able to attend the MELT program as soon as the staff at drive wise found out my situation they helped me achieve my goal I just got my AZ today first shot I can’t begin to express my gratitude to each and every instructor I was out with from the first week in class with Dave and the almost 4 weeks in cab with each individual instructor it’s biter sweet passing this course met some really awesome people that’s I’ll never forget they had vast knowledge in the industry to be able to assist with any questions and real life scenarios to ultimately help me get my AZ license thank you so much guys I honestly don’t leave reavers ever but after this experience I had to I’m extremely happy !!!

Fantastic experience: Fabulous group here! I went in for my AZ license with ZERO knowledge and came out feeling well prepared to drive a truck. The team is made up of people with various training styles which is very helpful and they want their students to succeed. And this is one of ONLY 6 schools in Ontario approved by the Canadian Government for government funded truck driver training. There is an obvious reason for that! From the front desk, through the classroom, on the simulators and out to the trucks, I had nothing but great experiences. Thank you DriveWise/KnowledgeSurge!

Even the office staff are wonderful, especially the scheduler. Our daughter came out with the confidence of an experienced driver!

Positive experience: I only reason I do give this business three out of five stars is because they teach avoid rear end avoidance and rear end avoidance in my opinion is not possible. After I was taught this by said driving school I tried to avoid a rear end collision and ended up worse than I would have been. So in my opinion. Great driving school, great instructors, great everything all around. I would just suggest that they would get rid of teaching people to avoid a rear end because it's slightly impossible to employ to rear end. If you do, you either end up into another car I do highly recommend this driving school though

Negative experience: Driving instructor driving Toyota Corolla at Ardagh and Ferndale in Barrie driving recklessly and waving at people as she passes them.

Negative experience: I just saw one of their cars fly past a stop sign. Some driving instruction!

Positive experience: It’s a great place to learn how to drive. But there’s a couple things that need improvement. 1. They never answer the phone 2. When you show up to the building there’s no one there at the front desk to help you. No matter how many times to press the bell. No one is there.

Fantastic experience: Chris is an amazing in car instructor. Took me from a nervous driver to a confident driver in just 2 lessons. Scored almost perfect on my g2 test.

Fantastic experience: One of the most detailed schools I've ever been to one of the best rated schools I've ever been to I could not have asked for a better experience getting my AZ the instructors there have more than two hundred years worth of experience under their belt combined they know what they're doing they adapt to how you're driving they tell you where you need Improvement and if it's in your blood you will do fine Trucking is not for everyone it's not just a regular job it's a lifestyle and they understand that thank you guys for everything that you have done I look forward to seeing everyone out on the road as I've completed my AZ course

Fantastic experience: I wish both of my daughter's did their driving course here. After being very disappointed with the one my older daughter attended, I had my younger daughter switch to DriveWise. I am so happy to have made that decision. Her instructor, Ryan, is absolutely amazing, knowledgeable, and patient. The administrative staff are polite and extremely accommodating even during this Covid pandemic. They made their best efforts to accommodate scheduling the in-car sessions in a positive and professional manner. I cannot be more thrilled. My daughter learned excellent driving instructions, she gained knowledge and confidence. Thank you so much DriveWise for the professional service.

Negative experience: I would really think twice about allowing my child to attend this "driving school." I just overheard a drivewise instructor telling a student that she's always required to stop AT stop signs and that she must stop for three seconds! To the owner of this business, please post on here the amended version of Section 136 of the Ontario H.T.A. that includes the "three second" law and the actual stop sign being the new and only stopping position. I haven't read over this section in a few days and must have missed this amendment.
