Fantastic experience: Teacher’s fantastic. All lessons are well done and in cars are informative. Very friendly as well. Definitely recommend.

Negative experience: As a young professional, I would not necessarily recommend this driving school. Communication is challenging, and they unnecessarily prolong the process, either due to a shortage of instructors or very poor organizational skills. I ultimately had to continue elsewhere because of their lack of accountability. However, if you’re a teenager or someone in no rush to get your license this could be the place for you. Prepare yourself to be condescendingly spoken to or ignored if that’s something you can tolerate. My instructor, Valerie, exhibited an unnecessarily rude approach, which made the overall experience highly regrettable.

Negative experience: NIGHTMARE...Phase 2 is supposed to take about 28 days according to their website but it's already been more than twice that amount of time. Supposed to have 4 in car lessons in that time but had 1 and then they just keep cancelling. Beyond frustrating and unprofessional. They take your money quick enough but don't provide good service. Avoid this place.

Fantastic experience: Ricks Driving School is the best! Very fun instructors, very fun classes and super organized. The theory classes really helped me as I passed the theory exam on my first try. Everyone should sign up for ricks!

Fantastic experience: I finally got my driver’s license because of Rick’s. After having gone to Atlantic in my teens and having a very disappointing experience, Rick’s gave me the confidence I needed to try again in my adulthood. Valerie was always patient, knowledgeable and put me at ease in every lesson. She gave me the tools I needed to gain my confidence back and practice good driving habits. I am forever grateful to her and Rick’s for giving me a second chance at success. Finally a licensed driver at 29 years old and could not be happier with my experience. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience during my time at Rick's Driving School. My theory classes were with Val - she really helped prepare me for the written exam and gave me the best tips and tricks to succeed on the first shot. She also, most importantly, provided me with the knowledge to feel like a safe, and responsible driver. Eric was my driving instructor - he's such a pleasure to be in the car with. He really works with you at the beginning to develop your skills, and gradually increases the difficulty every class. Never puts you in tricky situations, always extremely attentive, and has a great knowledge and patience. Thanks to everyone at Rick's Driving School for making it very easy for me to receive my driver's license, and for teaching me how to share the road network responsibly!

Fantastic experience: Incredible team of reliable people who help you succeed in theory and road tests. Good communication by text message and email. As a 29yo first time driver, I am now confident driving alone, and feel better prepared to handle things like city and winter driving. FYI, I worked with Valerie Roel for online lessons and Rick Roel for my in-car lessons in the Pontiac.

Fantastic experience: Ricks is by far the best driving school, Customer service is A1 and Valerie is super cool, helpful and knowledgeable. I recommend this driving school 100%

Negative experience: This is the worst driving school ever. To make an appointment for driving class, we have been delayed three times for whatever reason. As minority, you can feel they just ignore you guys. My advice is "Never go this school, it's too RISKY!" One star is too much for them.

Negative experience: Worst driving school possible, if i could give them less than 1 star i would. They dont answer calls and never call back, theyre very quick to charge you and the customer service is aweful, very rude staff

Fantastic experience: Valerie is the most knowledgeable driving instructor i have ever had. I couldnt be happier that my parents switched to ricks driving school. She knew everything there was to know about driving in montreal. I would recommend her to everyone!

Positive experience: A little disorganized but Marc is AMAZING! Once he came along I got my license within 2 months around (and it had been a while). He was much more organized and booked everything super quick and easy. He's honestly the reason I have my license now. He lets you think for yourself but is actually helpful. Super nice, made my experience fun and safe!

Negative experience: Meh of a school. Save yourself time by choosing another school. They are unorganized. I had a bad experience and heard even worse stories. I hope they can change! I'm hopeful!

Fantastic experience: i passed my driving exam with flying colours thanks to this establishment and to my driving instructor Marc. who is very kind and is an amazing instructor to have when learning how to drive and prepare for ur driving exam.

Fantastic experience: Very good experience at Ricks. Marc was an amazing instructor. He explained everything so well and in such a calm manner and i was always extremely comfortable in the car with him. Also great customer service. After i passed my test i got a message right away congratulating me and it made it feel much more personal.

Positive experience: I had a great experience at Rick’s driving school with Marc as my Driving instructor! I only have great things to say. I was running behind in my in car lessons due to the covid-19 pandemic, but thanks to him I was able to finish them all on time. He prepared me very well for my driving test and I passed on the first try. He helped me build confidence, independence and skill when on the road.

Fantastic experience: Mark was the best instructor I had. He was really on the ball with booking in cars and was always very helpful. He gave good advice on techniques but didn't micro manage my driving, letting me build my skills in preparation for the exam. He's also super chill and good company. I dont think I would have passed without him. He prepared me really well for the test. If you can, take Mark!

Fantastic experience: I was fortunate to get driving lessons from Rick and Valerie. Both are amazing instructors. I passed on my first attempt at the driving test. The instructors at this school are patient, passionate about their teaching and know how to explain things well. I would highly recommend this school.

Negative experience: Mark is an excellent instructor, but Valery is rude and unpleasant and has absolutely no knowledge of customer service. In car lessons are very difficult to book. Be prepared to wait a very long time between in-car sessions. Also, they often don't return calls.

Fantastic experience: They prepare you very well for the driving exam by going to the location a day before to practice there. And Rick and Valerie are friendly, patient and great teachers

Positive experience: Friendly staff, big, comfortable and clean space for theory classes... However, in my experience, at the end of my driving classes I did not feel prepared for the road test. I went through 3 different instructors which all had different approaches. The fact that most of the lessons were in the neighbourhood (CSL) did not really develop the reflexes and autonomous driving skills as it could have elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Driving instructors are nice. I haven’t crashed yet so that’s good too.
