Fantastic experience: My driving instructor with Avon Driving School is Mr. Shahid Mahmood. I really enjoyed my driving lesson with him and I learned a lot. He shared some tips and tricks that I initially thought I was doing correctly but realized I wasn’t. I particularly liked his teaching method, first, he starts with the theoritical part using props like small cars, papers with road drawings, and books to explain the key concepts and emphasize the importance of each lesson before guiding you through the actual driving test. I am also comfortable asking my questions to him. Overall, I highly recommend Mr. Shahid Mahmood

Fantastic experience: My trainer is Shahid Mahmood and I would like to recommend him to everyone who wants to learn how to drive like me. At first he was intimidating because I was not used to be asked questions during the session. Questions that are really important in order for you to easily grasp the logic of driving. He makes the lesson easier by using "toy" cars to demonstrate the steps needed to execute the maneuver. He also guides you in every step so that you will remember the lesson easily. Fantastic experience: Mr. Shahid Mahmood is a calm, patient and compassionate driving instructor. If you have never driven before, don’t worry because he will start you slowly on the neighbourhood streets and work up as you gain confidence and practice more. If you have questions while driving feel free to ask him, and if you are struggling on certain skills he will calmly and clearly review with you. During and after each lesson he will tell you what you need to improve on so you can practice and get better over time. He gives clear instructions on driving rules and how to perform the maneuvers for the road test (emergency stop, uphill/downhill parking, three-point turn, reverse parking, parallel parking). Make sure you pay attention and remember his methods for the test because they are very effective. I always struggled with three point turns and reverse parking before I met Shahid, but when I started using the methods that he taught me now I get a perfect result every time. Very lucky to have had him as an instructor and I highly recommend him for anyone in Mississauga especially if you’re in or around the Heartland area.

I started my lesson just last Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022 so you see I only have 4 days ( 1hr a day) with him but that 4 days is worth it coz I got my G license. Mr. Shahid Mahmood is very kind, patient, punctual and professional. He taught me so well. I don’t have any experience in the highway not even one but when I took Shahid as my driving instructor I passed my G road test that’s how good he is.
