Fantastic experience: Doing my MST with Carol of Hella Rider was the best decision I could have made .Learned so much from Carol who explained things in a way I could comprehend . Carol never rushed through things and made sure you understood exactly what she was showing you. Fantastic experience: Carol was absolutely amazing as an instructor and just a generally great person. She was able to offer each student a very distinct learning experience, adapting her style to meet the needs of very different people. I never felt judged, rushed, or unsafe. Having an instructor take the time to explain each exercise, the whys of the exercise as well as trouble shooting after is hard to find! I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: To any female who wants to enjoy this stress-free, no-judgements, female-only riding course, Hella Rider is your ticket to join the riding community! My instructor, Carol, an experienced riding instructor that’s really encouraging, fun and most importantly cares for each of her student riders as each session only has up to 5 learners, so that Carol can actually see all of our mistakes and correct them individually. Ps. Got my own Honda Grom the day after I passed my mst !

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing time doing the Hella Rider course this past weekend with Carol! She made everything so much fun and easy to understand. The atmosphere of the class was awesome as well - everyone was so supportive of each other and we had lots of time to practice everything before taking the MST. My confidence in being on a motorcycle went up so much from taking this course. If you want to get on a motorcycle but it seems stressful TAKE THIS COURSE! Carol takes the stress out of it and teaches you how to be as safe as you can.

Fantastic experience: Thank you Carol, for helping me to pass my road test. I took the Road test Prep Course a day before my test was a good decision I made. I do have had a bit of experience riding motorcycle back in my home country carrying people on a customized motorcycle. As we don’t have really a traffic rules, as long as you know how to drive you’re good to go. So, searching for a school to teach me about what I need to learn as I came from a town that doesn’t have any rules about driving motorcycles, I found ProRide Motorcycle Training. Carol, is a great instructor give me a valuable feedback about my bad habits and help me to passed my road test. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I went with the 'Hella Better' package and could not have been more pleased. Love that this is an all women course, it definitely helped with some of the nerves getting on the bike the first time. Carol taught my class and I loved it (and her!). The pace was great - very focused on building a really solid foundation and when we got to the MSA I passed on the first try.

Fantastic experience: I just finished the course with Carol and Mat, and had such a great experience. Super supportive learning environment and getting to try out a few different bikes before getting to buy my own was super valuable. Having the MST included in the course is also so much easier than doing it with icbc. I definitely would not have been able to pass on my own so thanks to Carol and Mat!!

Fantastic experience: I was nervous at first but they were very encouraging and I felt extremely safe to ask any questions and me and the girls ended up becoming friends too! I cant recommend this enough! If you want to ride, go here first they give you good habits and real life skills that come in handy <333 im going back for the traffic session classes in a couple days and I can't wait!

Fantastic experience: I just finished the HellaRider motorcycle course. Carol was amazing. She was so patient and explained everything so thoroughly. I had never been on a bike before Saturday and by the end of Saturdays lesson i was riding in third gear. The course was worth every penny. It was such a comfortable environment with no judgement and the fact it was all women was amazing.

Fantastic experience: I have wanted to learn how to ride for so long now but I knew I needed lessons to get myself started. I was nervous to participate in lessons full with a group of guys and hella rider provided the perfect opportunity to be taught by women. To all then women in the lower mainland who are interested in learning how to ride this is the course for you! It took the anxiety and pressure off myself and gave me the ability to solely focus on developing my riding skills. Carol is an outstanding instructor who’s patient and extremely knowledgeable. She goes above and beyond for her students and genuinely cares about our well being. I have already recommended my friends and family to take this course and highly recommend everyone else to take this course.

Fantastic experience: Carol taught this course and made passing the parking lot test first try very doable. Went from riding a bicycle to being comfortable enough to practice all the things I learned more in depth on my own. She went above and beyond staying late to teach us the first day and arriving early to help us get more practice in if we needed it before the test. Super happy I went here and Carol is a lovely and wonderful teacher so super happy I took the ladies course!

Fantastic experience: So much fun! I am so glad I committed to learning a new hobby with Hella Riders. Bought the Hella Better Riders package and thoroughly enjoyed the learning journey all the way through. I felt the classroom sessions with Christopher were informative, insightful, and engaging. Christopher was professional and laid back, thus giving the classroom a relaxed and easy-going learning environment. These classroom sessions were co-ed and it was nice to meet different people from all walks of life. Riding days with Carol were fun, structured, and informative. I enjoyed her warm and playful disposition as it made learning enjoyable and feel more at ease. I enjoyed Carol’s course so much that I wanted to practice through lunch times and even after the course was done! At the end, I was so impressed how myself and the other ladies were able to acquire the basic skills within those two riding days. Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend Carol and the team at Hella Rider enough if you are learning to ride! The course was fun and you learn a lot in short period of time. Fantastic experience: I have always wanted to learn to ride a motorcycle but was always discouraged because of fear, nervousness, and my height. Being a short rider, I never thought I could ever feel comfortable on a bike. But after taking this course I have so much confidence and understanding to ride any motorcycle safely. Even though Carol (the instructor) has taught both men and women, I love that this course was created for women by a woman who understands the way we think and learn. There’s no ego, it’s just a great place to learn. I asked many questions and raised my concerns for weeks before I actually signed up. Carol was patient, responsive and informative, I knew I would have an instructor that really cared about my learning. Classroom: Engaging lessons, and explained in ways anyone who has never ridden could understand. Stuff I didn’t catch when I was reading the guidebook on my own. It covered many safety riding techniques, lane positions, awareness of obstacles and dangers, etc.. things I feel every DRIVER, not just motorcyclist, should know. Practical on a bike: Everything is taught, even from how to confidently get on and sitting positions. Love the drills, safety, emergency maneuvers. There are different types of bikes to learn on - I did mine on a Grom (which I loved and ended up buying). At the end of the two days of riding, I had so much more confidence and control, I passed. The detailed feedback on improvement, after lesson support has been incredible. Traffic 1: (additional premium option - highly recommend this) This portion was through ProRide/Hella Rider. The confidence I gained from the course equipped me with the knowledge to be able to jump on a different bike that I had never ridden - Honda rebel. I had so much fun and improve my riding. I’m within 3 weeks of passing the course, Traffic 1, and getting out EVERY day and practising, I have surpassed all my expectations for myself. Carol continues to be an inspiration, a mentor and advisor to me when I need. I’m fulfilling a dream. Fantastic experience: I just took this course last weekend, Carol is amazing! it was very informative and you learn a lot. Carol is very knowledgable, patient and hilarious! I went from never being on a motorcycle to passing my MSA on the first go. This course is a 10/10 in my books and I would 100% recommend to any women looking at getting into riding, it's so much fun!

Fantastic experience: To all ladies who have been dreaming of riding a motorcycle, here is the good news. We have a school here in Vancouver finally for ladies. I was over the moon when I found hella Rider on google and have had the best experience taking the parking lot class with Carol. She is professional, kind and supportive. She walks you through all the safety details and information step by step and helps you to push your limits. My body was sore in a great way after 2 days of parking class couldn't wait t come home and get on my own bike to see how confident I am. There are great choices for the bikes for any size. You can build your confidence in a very peaceful atmosphere. Another great thing with Hella rider is that they are in cooperation with Proride and you can get the best support you need from the experts whether you wanted to take women only class or co-ed. I honestly can't recommend Hella Rider enough!! I was a bit intimidated at first but it was the best decision I've made. Carol does a phenomenal job making you comfortable and not afraid to make mistakes. I initially wanted to take the private lessons but the group lessons were just as great, I made some new friends and feel so much for free and confident on a bike! A women only lessons also helped calm the nerves and made me feel more comfortable and eager to learn.

Fantastic experience: I’ve never ridden a motorcycle before, so taking a coarse was important to me as I wanted to learn as much as possible to stay safe on the road. Carol is very experienced and extremely informative. Not only did she teach us the Icbc curriculum but also a lot of everyday extra life skills on a bike that you just won’t find in a book. She made learning fun in a safe environment. She also makes everyone feel very comfortable in her class, as being a new rider it can be very nerve racking and intimidating. She is very calming for those who are feeling nervous and she takes the time to help each individual overcome any issues they may have. If you want to learn to ride I highly recommend taking one of Carol’s classes. I know I’m sending anyone who asks me about riding her way. It was an all around amazing experience. I can’t say enough good stuff about Carol and her Hella Rider lessons.

Fantastic experience: We booked this course because it was for women and taught by a woman! (She is lovely by the way) The course is super informative but Carol delivers it in a way that never makes you feel less than. She is encouraging, fun, and super knowledgeable. The course is taught in 2 parts: theory and then riding actual motorcycles! If you are even thinking about taking a riding course you should book this one; you won't be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: Very happy with Hella Rider. Carol was a great instructor, we had a small group size which allows for lots of feedback and extra informations. Good vibes. She also gave us great advice extra curriculum. I was only trying to find the first available course and not necessarily a women course, but so I am happy I chose Hella Rider: size of other normal groups were 3 times bigger at the practice lot, and all that feminine rider energy was very enjoyable.
