Negative experience: The treatment with women is very bad. They do not respect anyone, and if I make a mistake, they do not tell you that they are taking the money. They just do not listen to you and do not allow you to speak at all. They talk to you in a despicable way. Shame on you, swindlers

Fantastic experience: I recommend this driving school to anyone. I started my in-car lessons this past May with Kevin as my instructor. Thanks to his teaching, I was able to pass my G2 on the first try in September. I'd say that's pretty darn good.

Negative experience: Disrespectful to parents and students. Kevin played on his phone way too much during in car training. Terrible at returning calls, but very good at no-shows and cancellations. Boasts of extensive experience, but if this is as good as it gets, it may be time for a career change. Skip this place, get an instructor who cares.

Fantastic experience: I sent both my daughters to GoodStart. They had Larry and Kevin as their instructors. They both went for there G2 yesterday and 1 got it and the other didn’t. I think she was too nervous. I liked both instructors and Kevin even gave my one daughter extra time free of charge. Thanks GoodStart, good program.

Fantastic experience: I took the course awhile ago. Took me about 3 weeks to get in car. Kevin Davis was my instructor. He was cool. He was a little strict on 10 and 2 and turns. It worked, now I drive 10 and 2. Thanks man. Your busy for a reason. Paul was cool too, so many stories.

Negative experience: Don’t waste your money here. Kevin didn’t even teach the class when I took it, he went on vacation instead and left it up to some guy who’d never taught a driving course before. The in-car instructor I had barely ever spoke and made every session uncomfortable.

Negative experience: The in-class instruction was okay, but in my time taking the weekend classes for their drivers education course, I learned more from the textbook than I did from the instructors. I have contacted them several times both by phone call and by email and have not heard anything back from the regarding booking my in-car driving sessions. They lack transparency and don't make it clear how to go about getting these in-car driving experiences, and lack organization overall. Would not recommend this program.

Negative experience: Got the job done. But not in a timely manner. And dont expect any phone calls to be returned.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Goodstart. My in class instructor was Paul and my in car instructor was Kevin. Kevin was knowledgable and patient with me. I was nervous but he took care of me. I just got my G2 yesterday and I have him to thank for it. Thx. I would recommend Goodstart to anyone.

Negative experience: My review of late start is good teachers, good drivers but I recommend booking your lessons before your child is born that way you might be able to get a driver. Joking aside I got into my class fairly quickly but I was told it would take 3 weeks for my in car and after 3 weeks I called and they said one more week. 3 months later I got a driver who didn't let me use his car for the test because he was too booked. I got my license without the car but I would definitely not recommend this driving school.

Negative experience: PARENTS MUST READ: If I could give negative 10 stars I would. Parents have no idea how this school actually runs, so I will share my experience. When Kevin was teaching, he was using inappropriate language by swearing, which he directed at the students. He was even encouraging uneducated, new drivers to get on the road immediately after the first class, which is very dangerous. He also proceeded to tell the students that if their parents disagreed with letting their child drive after the first day of class, then the parents were “doing something wrong”. Then I waited almost two months to get my first in car lesson. I had repeatedly called, and he was very unprofessional and disrespectful to me on multiple occasions. He would not answer my calls, and had to wait for days until he decided to return my calls. Then I was unknowingly set up with a different instructor. Kevin did not even inform me that my instructor was changed to someone else. During the first lesson, I noticed there was no sign anywhere on the car that would inform other drivers that I was a student driver. I asked for Kevin to correct it, and he said that he “doesn’t really believe that his clients need to broadcast themselves as student drivers”. While I was driving, my instructor was falling asleep, even when I was talking to him. Then he began to pull out change and asked me to park the car while he got himself a coffee from Tim Horton’s. The following lesson I had booked, there was a “Student Driver” sign on the car, but it was still not in a visible location for other drivers on the road to see. By the third lesson, there was a visible sign on the car. On my fourth lesson as soon as I entered the car, my instructor had a dog in the backseat and the car smelled of weed. He also told me to park the car in the casino parking garage, and proceeded to leave me in the car with his dog. He had left for 20 minutes and claimed that he was using the bathroom. I decided to call Kevin and inform him of what happened. Kevin’s only concern was not of his client’s, but the fact that there was a dog in the backseat of his car. I spoke to him over the phone, and decided that this particular situation I had been placed in required a full refund. Kevin immediately began to speak to me in such a disrespectful manner, and claimed that no situation would ever require a refund. He continued on to say, “Absolutely not, there will be no refund, I am not making any exceptions, and you will not be receiving a refund”. I became even more shocked at how little he cared for his client’s safety. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE it’s the absolute worst driving school in the world. The instructors are super sketchy, and Kevin is unbelievably disrespectful - he shouldn’t even be running a business. He has no regard for his student’s safety and only cares about the money.

Negative experience: Absolutely neglectful of his clients, i’ve got people who have been waiting for WEEKS to get their test done and he has seemingly forgotten to book it three times in a row! The courses have gone on for months past when they should have ended, drivers ed isn’t supposed to last 13 months!

Fantastic experience: Kevin Davis and his team have the experience and integrity to teach new drivers well. The training that students receive from A Good Start Driver Education helps them feel confident both during their road test and on the road!

I would highly recommend this driving school to anyone looking to learn proper driving skills. Don't bother wasting your time and money anywhere else !!! I had a great experience using Good Start and I only recommend using Good Start. His lessons are the bar for excellence when it comes to the instruction of proper vehicle conduct. The instructor was very professional and well mannered, he helped me feel comfortable behind the wheel and also I now have the ability to drive correctly with ease.! It was a great experience. I give this driving school a HUNDRED STARS. 100/100
