Fantastic experience: After failing my first attempt at a G, I purchased around 2.5hrs of in-car lessons with Rob. An extremely patient, knowledgeable and kind man, who genuinely wants you to succeed. He made me realize that I’ve adopted some bad driving habits, helped me reverse them, and I was able to pass my G! I have no one to thank but Rob! Amazing work, thank you!

He was always on time for classes and readily available for communication. His lessons were well-organized and easy to understand. He was very patient when it came to teaching, and I saw significant improvements with every class I took. Before taking my classes, I was hesitant to drive on the road, but now I can confidently and positively approach driving. Words cannot express how grateful I am for my instructor. I highly recommend Jagdeep Ganger to anyone looking for a skilled and dedicated driving instructor. His patience, organization, and effective teaching methods have made a significant impact on my driving confidence and skills. Negative experience: I booked YD for my daughter because of their stellar reputation and driver's test pass guarantee. Wow, what a huge let down. Instructor Dan was not to blame. He's very patient and professional with students. He gives very constructive feedback. The Newmarket office doesn't return emails and when confronted about this, they said to call instead. This is ridiculous in this digital age. They weren't responding back so we ended up having to book our own driver's test it's totally unacceptable. And just to clarify this was post covid. Would recommend looking at much cheaper options with similar results

Negative experience: Based on Google search, this place shows as driving test. You waste people's time just to do some advertising for yourself.

Positive experience: Teaching is phenomenal, my instructor Rob was fantastic and had loads of patience's and was super helpful, I genuinely learned so much from the in car lessons and it helped me pass my G2 road test with ease. Only reason for 3 stars is because of the in car bookings, they are horrible. I understand that with COVID and the restrictions its harder to book and they have hundreds of students to teach, but finishing my online NOV 4th and having my first in car on the 29th of DEC is unacceptable. Sometimes bookings would be almost months apart and you will wait ages for them to book your G2 test just book it yourself. Overall solid teachings and really well put together but 3 stars because the bookings are simply unacceptable.

Negative experience: My son went here. He fell asleep during the in-class sessions and didn't get much out of them because the teacher was boring, monotonous and monotone, so he found it very difficult to pay attention and he missed most of the important information - especially about safety. The in-car instructor was very nice and patient. We scheduled in-class just before any Covid shut downs, but in-car lessons took a long time to complete and get G2, due to shut downs, backed-up scheduling and Covid. Also unable to get the G pre-test lesson because of Covid shut downs, and long delays in booking a drivetest which is no fault of YD, however, still trying to get a refund for the cost of the G roadtest booking and pre roadtest mock driving lesson, and not having any success. Giving 2 stars for boring in-class teacher, and difficulty in getting my refund. Would recommend to take the YD course, but book classes at another location due to in-class instructor.

Negative experience: While their staff and drivers are friendly and courteous they systems are brutal. My son had issues with their online learning and they wouldn’t book his G2 test in advance. I had to book myself and they said they would refund that portion of the fee. Waiting 3 weeks for a refund and still no certificate of completion despite numerous calls and email on both. Would definitely NOT recommend these guys.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Young Drivers was exceptional. My in class sessions were with Jeff, and he was awesome and encouraged a great learning environment for all students. I had Bill for in car lessons, and he was fantastic, and very understanding. You can really tell that they are passionate and truly care about you, and your ability to safely operate a vehicle. I passed first try, thanks to Bill's fantastic tips and tricks. I would 100% recommend that if your looking to get your license, that you go to Young Drivers Newmarket.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with my instructor Judy. She did a great job teaching me everything I need to know and was always on time for my lessons. Overall I passed my g2 road test with a 98/100!! I would highly recommend if you are on the fence.

Fantastic experience: Judy is amazing! Really helped me improve my parking, and is extremely calm in the car. Always comfortable (while stay aware!) when she’s in the seat next to me.

Negative experience: Driving instructor was 20 minutes late and to top it off he was at the wrong house when he did arrive. It also didn't help he was extremely rude and didn't make up for the missed time (Paid for 60 minutes but only had about 45). Unfortunately this seems to be pretty common when it comes to the in car instructors. Looking at you Surjit Bagha.

Fantastic experience: Just passed my G test with Eddie in Newmarket. Very patient and helpful, I would recommend doing the G prep test before doing the road test.

Being a really nervous driver, they helped me become more comfortable and I passed my G2 on the first try. I am so thankful for them because learning to drive with a family member was just not working out for me. I would highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: It’s always quite nerve racking when the time comes for your child to learn how to drive. From in class learning to e-learning and to their driving lessons, Young Drivers Newmarket did not disappoint on any level. I was so impressed by what my son learned and retained. It’s no small wonder Young Drivers has the reputation of being leaders in their industry. Today my son was brought to his driving test by his driving instructor Rob who has been preparing him for the last 9 months. It took stress of of me and stress off my son. He passed with a 92% and now is not only a G2 driver but has the confidence and prudence to get behind the wheel on his own. To be honest, he has even taught me a few things and I have an excellent driving record. Thanks so much Rob for your guidance and expertise in teaching my how to approach driving defensively and mindfully! This is the best money I have ever spent!

Negative experience: A teacher for this school (there was only one person in the school's car) has roadraged at me TWICE in traffic. They layed on the horn when I wouldn't turn left into oncoming traffic that they could not see. I would NEVER send my child to learn from such an aggressive and dangerous bully!

Fantastic experience: They really made sure I was ready to pass my drive test and are honest with you if you're not. 5 stars, would definitely recommend.
