CTR Driving School

Fantastic experience: Very mixed feeling but ultimately I'm left disappointed. They did everything great for my two kids. They did the class and drivers training which all seamed fine. Kids did the did their tests and did fine. So ultimately seemed like a good school. But they never gave me the forms I need to get a discount on my insurance. I've called them for months to get these forms but it just goes to a anonymous answering machine and they did not call me back. Update: I'm very sorry to hear the tragic news Mr Khan the owner / driving instructor of the driver school has passed away. It looks like the school will not be reopening. And that is why I haven't been receiving any responses. I'm my thoughts are with the Khan family he was a good teacher and my kids enjoyed there time being taught by him.

Fantastic experience: My biggest concern about driving in Canada was that I came from a country where driving is done on the opposite side of the road. However, after doing some research and reading other testimonials, I decided to go with CTR Driving School. I must say, it was an excellent choice! The instructor is very thorough and patient. He understood the challenges that I had and calmly guided me during the in-car training sessions. Subsequently, I was able to pass the road test on the first attempt. He has a clear way of teaching techniques, for ex. Parallel parking. His feedback has been very helpful to improve my driving skills. Fantastic experience: Simon is a really nice, professional, knowledgeable, informative and supportive instructor. He gave me 2-hour brush instruction in which there were a lot of details that you could never notice at all. I strongly recommend for new comers to apply his instruction because regulations and way of driving are quite different from the previous experiences. Don't try to directly take a road test before any instruction. Spending your money on him is actually saving money.

Fantastic experience: When I first started the course I had perhaps 5 hours total driving experience under my belt, and was a very nervous driver. My instructor was very understanding and explained the rules of the road clearly to me. Upon completion of the course I was much more confident and did not dread getting behind the wheel anymore. The instructor/owner Simon, was easy to deal with and kept very detailed notes on her progress. He was always on time and confirmed every appointment. Simon was very friendly, knowledgeable, punctual and really gentle in teaching all the details for me to become a good and safe driver and also understand how the road test goes. Fantastic experience: Very informative coach who is both succinct and firm in teaching. There is little room for misunderstanding and the coach is always open to questions. The coach is very familiar with the roads associated with many registries and their road tests, which made my own road test so much easier, as I knew what to expect. I am thankful for the sanitization of the vehicle before each session during the pandemic. Overall great professionalism!

Fantastic experience: Had both my sons in lessons just before Covid. They both learned a lot. After reopen they did a brush up lesson and passed there test the next day. Tester said they were in the top safest drivers he has seen. Recommend ctr fully for safe drivers.

Fantastic experience: He was very sociable, encouraging, and patient with me and taught me until the end. He taught me everything there is to know for the basic road test and gave me many helpful tips like how to park properly. (i.e. perpendicular, parallel). Pick-up and drop-off was at my home so that was very convenient. The car was very comfortable and safe to drive in. It was a very pleasant and valuable experience. I learned a lot. Thank you!
