Negative experience: Hi all! I did not feel comfortable during driving lesson and did not recommend Mr. Boris to my wife when she asked for. Boris was difficult to communicate to: He was asking questions "Do you know..." like testing my knowledge, instead of just telling the right information. He was telling something slowly and when I guess the answer I would finish his sentence, but he got unhappy and told me many times "You are not listening". Besides all, there were false information. Last time I passed class 4 pre-trip inspection but failed road test. He said pre-trip will not be required again. But when I called ICBC they said - Required before the Road Test again. It is good that I did not listed to Boris and prepared for it as I passed both on the second attempt. He also said I need to stop far ahead of stop line, but examiner asked me - Why are you stopping so far ahead? - mystery. Giving the above I am surprised why here are so many 5-star reviews. Maybe people are shy to tell the truth. Good luck and successful road tests to all!

In each lesson, we were practicing different road scenarios and situations that can happen during regular driving. Fantastic experience: Сначала я считал, что сам сдам роад тест - зря. Только деньги потратил. Дальше 6 тренировок с Борисом и тест сдан на отлично! Очень рекомендую его как человека который постепенно научит вас не просто уметь перемещать машину из точки А в точку Б, а быть БЕЗОПАСНЫМ для себя и окружающих АККУРАТНЫМ участником дорожного движения. И при этом стоимость дешевле чем в других автошколах Однозначно рекомендую!!!

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank Boris and his school for preparing me for the road test. Boris is an extremely professional and experienced instructor. He's patient and at the same time very persistent in teaching necessary driving skills. After his driving lessons I passed the test from the first attempt (I wish I'd taken lessons with Boris from the very beginning and not after failing the road test when I thought I could do it on my own).

Boris is extremely patient person and pays close attention to the details. He always make sure that you understand every action and, most important, he teaches you drive safe. Fantastic experience: Borys Ruskykh is certified driving instructor and a professional at his job. My lessons were not only about getting driving experience , but also forming right driving habits. Every situation on road was explained in details, every mistake was understood and fixed. I passed my ISBC practise test from the first attempt after this school (there were 2 fails before i started my lessons here). Therefore I highly recommended this school!

Fantastic experience: I tried 2 other instructors - they were good as well. But Boris and his approach worked best for me. I had never driven before and was developing my driving skills from scratch. Boris had continuously emphasized that driving is a motor skill that needs time and repetition to develop and he patiently helped me with developing mine. For me, never driving before, it was not easy to get used to how to operate pedals, steering wheel, feel the car, feel the distance and road position, etc. But with Boris's precise algorithm of actions required to perform any of the maneuvers, it was gradually becoming easier and easier, to the point where you do not think a lot but just know what and how to do, and you just can do it. After about 60 hours of driving classes, I passed the test from the first attempt, never driving before. My son took lessons with Boris, too, and he had same success - driving license after the first attempt. Highly recommend to anyone, at any skills level!

Fantastic experience: Very patient and professional! Teaches you all the fundamentals of driving leaving no chance for failure on your test. Builds you the confidence in driving, explains professionaly how to pass the exam and prepares you for it. I took about 10 classes and was able to pass the ICBC exam with 0 mistakes! Great instructor wouldn't choose another if had the option to.
