Fantastic experience: This place is amazing in teaching theyre students about Driving and Safety. Jack and Clay genuinely cares about theyre students passing the drive test and they actually teach you the skills to becoming a good and safe truck driver on the road. The school is also flexible towards your busy work schedule which i really liked, helped me finish the course while working. i also liked the independent studying i was able to do with this school. you can always talk to Jack and Clay to work things out with whatever problems you maybe encountering with driving. 10/10 recommend if your looking for a school with proper training. Instructor and the people are great.

Fantastic experience: When i joined Alpine School in summer this year for my AZ Training, i didnt know anything about Truck Driving but i was so impressed by the way this Training School changed my story in just a few weeks, now i know how to operate and drive a Tractor - trailer. The instructors are very proffessional, experienced and accomodative. Also, the school is well equiped and the study environemnt is very supportive and team work oriented. With Alpine, i made the right choice of School. This is my first episode about my experience at Alpine as a student.

Fantastic experience: My experience at alpine truck driving school was excellent, with the passion Jack and Clay demonstrate for the industry and wanting to teach every student that walked through those doors, the correct and safe way, it made the learning so much more easier. Their combined years of knowledge and experience made it even easier to obtain my AZ license. Another reason as to why Alpine was the correct school for me was there flexibility. As a full time employee and a single father of 2, they still made it possible to train me and for that I can’t thank Alpine enough. They have allowed me to be able to open up new avenues where I’ll be able to better provide for my children. Fantastic experience: A very good school, although the students come from all over the world and everyone speaks completely different languages, Principal Jack and Coach Clay were very patient and responsible in teaching all the truck driving skills and techniques. It is a very good, well-established driving school in Toronto.

At Terrence Trucking Inc I'd like to express my sincerest thanks to Alpine Truck Driver Training for their meticulous attention to details and their thoral knowledge of the rules and regulations required for Heavy Truck driver training. More importantly their ability to transfer that knowledge to the students was impressive. I would recommend and have recommended this school over and over as they are doing it right the first time. No need to pay cheaper at other schools just to find out you have to keep going back for additional training in order to pass test. What I truly admire that I don't see a lot out there is that students not only pass their test almost all the time but they actually learn so much more that just passing the test. Safety, Trucking culture, Defensive driving and best practices just to name a few things that comes to mind. At Alpine you don't just get to pass your test you can actually get into a job right after and will not require any training to drive safely and also efficiently. I'm happy to see new drivers with such skills and confidence right out of school. I must say thanks to Jack Lochan for the system he has in place and the time dedicated to each student in order for them to learn not just how to acquire a Licence, but how to perform superior in the job compare to other schools. It's nice to know there a still some great schools out there. Recently I'm astonished at the performance of other schools and the short cuts they take which ends up costing the student more time and money to pass their test. And even when they pass, they are not fit for a job without further training. Keep up the great work Alpine, and keep giving that superior value to the students that sets you apart from the competition. I would continue to recommend you all as your courses tend to work out cheaper even though I was skeptical years ago thinking I could get a better deal elsewhere. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience in alpine truck driver training. They helped me a lot to learn everything I needed to learn in order to get my AZ driver licence. They have been very patient with me and took all the time I needed to do the practice I needed to do and the theory I needed to understand especially that my English was hardly basic when I started with them. I love how they have an indoor practicing truck that allows you to practice even if the weather is bad outside. Jack the owner is a very nice man and very helpful and encouraging. The instructor also was very friendly and patient. I got my licence from the first exam I took and I would recommend this training school to anybody who wants to get their truck driving license

Fantastic experience: I did many research on best trucking driving school and on the computer screen my instinct told me Alpine Trucking Sch even though there were other schools also on there,I followed my instincts to discover the best treasure ever in my life. They have the best teachings,and well design program that will screen u up from nothing to knowing it all. My big appreciation first goes to Lisa the school administrator for giving me a chance to be enrolled into the course and to Jack my master who always encouraged me through the program..and Clay my hero this man never gave up on me taught me from point A to point Z...i owe u alot in life. AND to jacks daddy who always tuffing me up with positivy.. And to everyone that don't know alpine and yet to discover please pay attention to what is being taught and make good use of it cuz this place will never loose hope in u and everything u want as help they will help with no word said cuz it's their duty as ALPINE to see u make it... it's a family place to call a home once enrolled..i was scared of trucks but when I went there honestly they put the spirit in my soul and now I can command a truck to go where I want it to go by following and doing the teaching of my Masters...i salute u all my future uplifters without u all I would have been a looser. Fantastic experience: When I first arrived at Alpine I didn’t have any knowledge about trucking at all. Over the course of my training I began to understand everything with the help of the staff especially Clay who was a big help in my learning/training. I would definitely recommend this school because learning was hands on training - in the garage & the yard. They make it so easy for you to learn what you need to learn. Alpine school will help you reach success. I successfully completed my AZ & DZ in the first try because of the training from the school.

It’s been 3+ years since I’ve acquired my AZ license with flying colors through their expertise, and yet we are still in touch. I still remember the FIRST ever lesson Jack taught me which was way out of the trucking field. I was a valuable lesson that reflected and will keep reflecting in my life as a human being. Fantastic experience: I just got my Az license through Alpine Truck Driver Training. If you really want to learn, and prepare yourself for proper Az training , this is the place for you. They will give you as much time as you need , you can get training acc to your schedule, no hard and fast rule for timings and schedule. Jack is very energetic and will keep you motivated , Clay is a really good teacher, will give his 100% for you to learn and get proper skills needed to drive the truck.

Fantastic experience: Truly is the best out there. The academy has interesting but unorthodox teaching methods and techniques. I later found out why they use the techniques they've developed over decades when I finally got into trucking. The school doesn't just train you for the road test. They train you for real world trucking. I only understood this after I passed my road test and realized that it was only a small step into trucking. The Alpine name and training really showed when I went for jobs. These trucking companies (especially the ones that have been around for over 10 or 20 years) are looking for specific habits from new truck drivers. These habits are ingrained in Alpine students and will become second nature by the time you seek employement. Also, a lot of these companies know the name Alpine; they also know Jack in many top trucking companies. He has built a strong brand in the industry. Graduating from this school gave me an edge when I interviewed for my job. Alpine is the real deal. They are not high tech. They're more like a old school, Rocky Balboa boxing gym environment. Fitting cause you will work hard like you're in a boxing gym. Just listen and do what is asked of you with Jack and Clay (the head instructor) and you'll be great. They can sometimes be tough but that's also part of the trainning - trucking is not for the light hearted; it is tough and they train you to handle it in the real world. Fantastic experience: I recently took a defensive driving course here. I looked at a bunch of other places, and they were only offering online courses. Alpine was the only place I could find that could offer a practical course, and I was able to start right away. Jack and Clay are very kind, professional and knowledgeable. I’m very pleased with my experience here.

Fantastic experience: Recently attended and passed DZ course and licence!! Researched for a while to find a good school that had all that I wanted and needed. Course was easy to follow and material was easily laid out for students to learn at any pace. Lots of “yard” time and access to trucks to practice inspections and driving. Instructors are easy to get along with, very knowledgeable of the industry and take the time to make sure you get each step before moving on to the next. Would recommend!

Fantastic experience: Honestly, I went in knowing nothing on how to operate a truck. But after 6 weeks of training and BAM! I got myself my DZ license. Everything the teachers mentioned were exactly everything that the MTO wanted to hear during the testing and the exact order as well. The examiner was incredibly happy with my driving and knowledge and I owe all of that to Jack and Clay. They taught me everything I needed to know and went above and beyond than just teaching. Bottom line go in like a blank book, walk out with the knowledge needed and the confidence to get behind the wheel of a large automobile. Would strongly recommend this school to anyone wanting to upgrade their license.

Negative experience: I called them to ask for the price the guy said "7500" (which is higher than most of the schools in Ontario) I politely said "that's all I wanted to ask thanks" he started being rude saying "what if I told you it's free now" mocking me etc I'm not sure who let these fobs run a business but they are very rude but funny at the same time The unprofessional fob of an owner talking about the cost of az license instead of his employee’s disgusting behaviour is also funny lmao these are the types of places that give their own people licenses for a little extra money and their students end up crashing and killing people since they were trained by incompetent road ragers like this owner.

Fantastic experience: As one of their present student, I really appreciate their eagerness and effort to teach us step by step how to obtain the necessary skill for future employment. They are concerned for what we have learned from day to day activities.The owner had a great idea and initiative to fabricate a wooden cart as Semi-Tractor -Trailer Truck that we can use to learn the fundamental foundation how to maneuver and apply to the real Truck. I’m so happy today because “ Clayton my Instructor and Jack the Owner and Instructor” allowed to drive the Semi Truck, at first I’m so nervous coz its my very first time ever. But I was able to conquer my fear thru their assistance. I was able to park by back up maneuver. Fantastic experience: I called a number of Truck Driver Training companies as part of my journey to hopefully becoming a Firefighter. The first person I spoke with from Alpine was Jack. He was patient with me, as I had many questions and he carefully guided me through the steps required to secure my DZ license. When I was ready to begin my driver training, I was partnered with another Firefighter trainee. Alpine very much promotes a team and buddy system which made rehearsing our Air Brakes and In Cab check procedures much easier. We both worked hard, we both showed up every day at 0830 sharp and we both listened to everything that Jack and Clay taught us. We made many notes and listened very intently to each step which Jack and his team introduced to us. I think it's fair to say that we picked up some solid life lessons along the way. The simulators Alpine has built, in both the classroom and in the garage are tried and trusted methods to give trainee drivers the ability to practice as much as you wish. Yesterday, we both successfully passed our DZ tests first try. The bottom line is, if you're ready to commit yourself to the process, the Alpine Team will get you through AND you'll have fun along the way. I highly recommend Alpine Truck Driver Training. Fantastic experience: Going to Alpine trucking school was one of the best decisions I've made. Jack and Clay go above and beyond to make sure that each and every student has a clear understanding of all aspects of the trucking course. They help and simplify things each step of the way to make sure you are equipped with all the information you need to go for the test, and later on enter the workforce. Once you pass, they even help you land a job. I knew Jack and Clay were great instructors while I was a student there, but I realized they were the best in the business when I passed my test and started helping students that have failed their tests with different schools, get ready for another test. These other trucking schools do not even come close to the information, countless hands on hours and one on one training that Alpine provides. These other trucking schools only give students 60% of the information at best and leave them to figure out the rest on their own. I can go on and on about how much of a difference in professionalism and learning experience there is but I will try to keep it short. If you are on the fence about what school you should go to, I highly recommend that you go to the best trucking school in Canada Alpine! Fantastic experience: I got my AZ licence 2009 in a different school and I didn’t use it for along time cuz I have my full time job. To cut the story short, Year 2017 I applied couple of company in on job fair in Brampton as an AZ driver and they have the same answer that I need a retraining and at the same job fair, I met Jack... knowing that he run truck drive school. Jack and he’s team did amazing, they do one and one lesson, they go beyond their job. I 100% recommend this school. It’s not the cost of the course its the knowledge you earned. Fantastic experience: I am still in training to become an AZ truck driver and to be honest times goes by so fast. I enjoy it! I mean it’s a lot to learn but the instructors are willing to work with you, knowing that everyone learns different and they also work around your schedule due to work or life outside the school. They are understanding and patient. I have no problems at this school, they treat you like family they make sure you get what is being taught before you can move onto the next step. If anyone’s says this school is no help they are not totally being honest. There’s a saying “ the fox says the grapes are sour when he can’t get/eat it.” I have completed my training at one of the best schools in Canada. I worked so hard to get my AZ license and the first try I got it! I am still in disbelief because I would never think I would make it, knowing that I am a girl and short, but with Jack and Clay who motivated me and showed my all easy ways, not short cuts but ways that set me up to pass and to maters the truck it really helped me out, when doing my test. Please listen to them, they may be very hard on you but they do this to make you get better and achieve your goals to become a truck driver, don't give up because they don't give up on you, they work with you and put in time for you. However, I couldn't get air break and Jack sat with my and told me to say it 10 times. I was so frustrated but I did and he sat there not rushing me just wanting me to get it right. Clay also showed me how to back up a truck and told me my mistake and how to correct them, with this it helped me to pass. Fantastic experience: Well I did it. I got my AZ truck driving license thank to Alpine Where do I start. When I first came to Alpine Truck driving school I knew nothing about trucks. Now i know off the back of my hand the Air brake practical, full pre-trip inspections, and how to shift and back up a full Tractor with sleeper berth with a 53" trailer. I learned the technique of how to back up a tractor trailer before I stepped foot in their trucks with their garage simulator. I learned how to shift a 10 gear manual truck with their shifting simulator. Their instructor Clay is very knowledgeable in the trucking industry and takes the time to teach you the right way and breaks everything down into simple steps so that you understand all the steps and techniques. He is very patient with you and will not move onto to step two until you fully grasp step 1. From the first time I stepped foot into Alpine Jack made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions. Jack and Clay will build your confidence as a truck driver and as an individual. What ever I decide to do with my AZ license I have Alpine to thank for it. They teach you the right way-the safe way. I highly recommend Alpine Truck Driving School. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Alpine Truck Driver Training, my life long dream of becoming a truck driver has come true at the age of 52. Jack the owner is very encouraging and has very innovative ways of helping you learn how to back up and the simulators that teach you to shift the big rig and all this before you step foot in the truck, so that when you do hop in you know all the mechanics of the vehicle and have the knowledge to put it in drive and in reverse. As for the trainer Clayton he is the best of the best, he knows how to make you feel comfortable and has all the patience needed to teach you not only how to drive but to do it the right way and with confidence, I had a blast while learning. As a female going into what has been a long standing male industry they both made me feel like the sky was the limit and that no matter my age or gender I could do this and I did!!! Positive experience: If you want to pass your ministry test the first time, Alpine is the school for you. Truck driving is big people stuff but the material has been simplified in such a way that even a new born babe can understand it, learn it and execute it in a very professional manner, once he apply himself. Sir Jack is very PASSIONATE about what he does. If you are affraid of public speaking, when Sir Jack is done with you, you can be a speaker for the house of parliament. The teachings of PATIENTS starts from inside the class room. Rush is equal to mess. Can you believe i learn to up and down shift a manual 10 speed transmission without setting foot in the actual truck. I learn to do every backing maneuvre in fine style before setting foot in the truck. when i started drivng Sir Clay was my instructor. What a gentleman have patients. His instructions are so clear and precise that you can actually blindfold yourself and just execute his instructions and you wont hit a pin lying in the road. I passed my test the first time, making only 6 mistakes on the complete test, backing in that sleeper cab with a 53ft trailer in one shot between those cones the alley docking way. ALPINE contributed significantly to my success. Thank You Alpine. Driving is next to living, they will make you drive safely. Cheers!! Fantastic experience: Testimony of approval, of a school to go to train for truck driving, and then receive your AZ or DZ License, in which I did, I have my AZ licence, thank-you to Alpine Truck Driver Training, "The Training was absolutely sufficient, and right on PAR with all of the MTO (Ministry Transportation of Ontario) criteria certification Testing Centers". As I just finished my MTO test with the Government of Ontario, "The Tester" at MTO (her name is Valerie, and she is no push over, she is very strict).......said I'm still a "Rookie", but, you today young man (lol), will have your license, congratulations, your training with Alpine Trucking has payed off. Congratulations again!!! Alpine Trucking is a small school, but has all the sufficient equipment and tools necessary to learn about the Trucking Industry, and the equipment associated with the trucking industry. Trucks, both Manual and Standard transmission, older trucks to observe study and look at in detail, extra mechanical components for study in the Studio/Shop, posters, magazines galore, computers set up for introductory course training in Truck Driver Training, a comfortable heated garage and office area, a lunch area, examples of "Broken Equipment pieces and working equipment" at your finger tips, simulators of pre-driving training, along with a small obstacle course both in shop and outside with highway lines painted to simulate a real life scenario, without having to step into the big machines (lol), until you are ready to step in a big machine of course, Alpine Trucking has the baby steps of training necessary to get any qualified driver into the next step, and that is to drive a Highway Tractor with a 53' trailer! Wow! And I did it, I'm still in shock, I can drive a highway tractor with a trailer.... I can't believe it!!! The teachers (And Owners), Jack and Clayton have a 35 year combined experience in the field of transportation and trucking, and there will be not be a question that they do not know or understand, all their work, handed over on a silver platter..........."They Know the Trucking Industry", as good as anybody on the planet earth, and are willing to share their personal experience, at Alpine Trucking School. This review is simply a write-up to assure my personal experience that Alpine Trucking School is sufficient in it's criteria to help any driver to achieve their goals of becoming a truck driver, and get your license from the MTO Testing Center with accuracy and confidence.

Negative experience: Called to research the company for my second career application. They lost my business immediately after the staff member would not answer my simple questions that I needed for my application unless I made an appointment. An easy way to lose tuition costs in under 5 mins

Fantastic experience: I can't even begin to tell you how wonderful this school is from the day I walked in to the day I graduated gave me all the tools and steps to get my dz license and become a safe and responsible truck driver I recommend to anyone looking to become a truck driver go see alpine

Fantastic experience: Alpine truck training school is the best trucking school for anyone who is looking to be a professional driver. Fantastic experience: Where do I begin. I'll just start by saying that I am very happy that I made the right decision to pick Alpine for my Training. Jack and Clay took me from nothing to living my dream of becoming a truck driver, Guys like these are very hard to come by. They helped me find confidence in myself that I've never had in my whole life of going to school I always thought it was me that could never learn anything but now I know I was wrong about myself all these years thanks to the guys at alpine. I would just like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart you guys are great never change. They are very trustworthy and love to see their students succeed, I don't really see any bad reviews but for the people that put one stars for these guys are bogus and have never even step foot into this school once you are a student at alpine you will forever be grateful that you made the right choice and stepped through those doors because once you step through those doors you become FAMILY and that's a pretty big thing in my books. Now I've only done my DZ but they still walked me through everything about these road monsters. I plan to gain some experience in DZ and I will for sure go back to Alpine for my AZ in the future. No other school can touch these guys they have everything you need to learn to become a driver. When I first stepped foot in the truck I felt great as I've never even been in one before it was a big step but they made it worth while and I can't say thank you enough. Fantastic experience: If you're looking for a new career, go drive a truck! I came in knowing nothing much about trucking and left as a professional driver. Once the tools were made available to me and I just apply yourself, believe in yourself and stay motivated! It really that simple, after that I understood all the concepts (backing and shifting among others) given time. You really do get out what you put in with all this. The instructors, faculty and students become like a family because they are working toward the same goal you are; getting on the road and driving safely! The group of people came from all walks of life and different cultures, it's not just one or another like some other reviews say. Anyhow, I'm grateful for everyone who helped me gain a new perspective. Thanks very much to everyone at Alpine.

Fantastic experience: Alpine Truck Training has change my life for the better. When I started at Alpine I knew nothing about Tractor Trailer. It took me six weeks to get my AZ license. I want to say a big thank you to all the staff especially , Lisa , Jack and Cayton for there dedication towards all students. At Alpine its more of a family environment where everyone helps each other ( unity is strength ). Fantastic experience: I graduated from Alpine on September 1st 2016 with flying colours thanks to Jack and his team! Clayton, Lisa, dad, and Dan! Alpine staff treat you like family not another number. It was an amazing learning experience for me and I'm proud to have graduated from this school. I highly recommend this school to anyone who is looking to obtain their AZ licence. I did my due diligence for 3 months visiting many different schools and asking questions and feeling the staff out. Most registered (legit) schools have the same tuition fees but something about Alpine stuck out in my mind. These guys personalize your experience and are dedicated to your success. They even customized my schedule because I work full-time and had only evenings to attend. But these guys stayed later for me. It all paid off! Thanks boys!

I would like to share my training experience with Alpine so about 6 weeks I am here with Alpine and I can see myself as a professional driver by the help of the instructors. Fantastic experience: Muhammad Khan well i got my AZ license 8 months ago from a cheap truck driving school where i payed very less and the consequences that i faced after were that i was sitting home for 8 months without any job i went to every single almost every single big transport company with my license and drivers abstract and no company was willing to hire me because the school i got my training was not certified and they did not train me on manual instead i was trained on automatic and majority of the trucks operated by big fleets for example schneider are manual which alot of people dont know so long story short schneider told me to go to ALPINE and do a refreshment course and so i did i met JAG their after taking to him for half and hour i was so satisfied from his professionalism and skills that i joined his school to get my refreshment course. its not even a month and i was offered high paying jobs from CHELLENGER, SCHNEIDER AND SGT all my stresses are gone now and i swear to god it is all because of the reputation of this school and the owner JAG he helped me from the first day i started till now i have no more words to explain how good this school is. they dont just train you they help you in any way they can I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU THIS SCHOOL !!! In 2013 I decided to become a Truck driver so I decided to research schools and look at all my options, that is when I discovered Alpine Truck Driver Training School. I started my training in March and obtained my license the first week of May 2014. I believed that the best choice that I could have made was by coming here especially when I see so many people who have obtained their licenses from other places coming in asking to be retrained not knowing how to shift or back up by they have their licenses. I know that I am a safe professional driver from my training and I know that I will always be able to get work now that I received my training here. Why not learn from the best and anyone wanting to become a Safe Professional driver come in and talk to Jack and the staff at Alpine it will be the best decision you could ever make.

Fantastic experience: Best decision that I have ever made was coming to Alpine to obtain my AZ drivers license. Since the first time I came into the school the staff was more than helpful. Very knowledgeable very passionate and very approachable. They truly want the best for their students and truly want you to be a safe reliable and professional drivers. Since I have started with them I have seen close to 100 people come in who already obtained their licenses from other schools like Humber or Durham college or other unregistered schools. These people can not get hired and the companies are sending them here to learn. My question is why not learn from the best the first time. Why would anyone want to buy there license. I am not licensed with multiple job opportunities. If anything else why not come in and talk to the staff about the prospects about your future you will never regret walking in the door.

Fantastic experience: I went this morning to see Alpine truck driving school and I am very impress with their professionalism and highly customer service. I meet with Jack and he is extremely knowledgeable, he answered all my questions regarding the curse and funding, Jack is very concern on the safety and his goal is to make everyone succeed out of this profession.
