Fantastic experience: They teach defensive driving, blind spot detection, shoulder checking, 360 checks, and scanning. Basically everything there is to know about driving. With the help of Jay, I was able to pass my test first try with no point deductions. The service is great and I truly believe that they are the best driving school South Surrey, White Rock, and Newton 100% recommend going there. Better than Ocean Park and Valley Driving School guaranteed!

We are very happy we did, as Jay, the instructor was very patient and easy going, which helped greatly in building her confidence. Fantastic experience: I did one session with Jay before my class 5 road test and I passed first time . Jay was very supportive and knowledgeable. He shared road test tips and provided me with feedback that helped me with my parking skills. He was also very calm and observant during my session. Fantastic experience: I got my N on my first test after a summer of lessons with Metro Driving School. Jay covered everything that was on the test multiple times and was very clear and patient when instructing.

Negative experience: Metro Driving School was professional over the phone, but when it came to showing up on time or at all they failed at that. This is my second driving school , where the instructor has not showed up. I bet surrey has a lot of these unprofessional driving schools. I had booked for early morning, didn’t show up. No phone and no text. I waited and waited, have other appointments as well and work. I don’t know how they got all these good reviews, absolutely not professional, I’m extremely disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Huge thanks to Metro Driving School! I passed on my first attempt for my N road test, since the instructor Jay helped me master my driving skills so I was completely confident driving down the road on my own. He was polite and provided constructive and detailed feedback to make sure I mastered the necessary driving skills. He knows the "common traps" that catch students off guard (ie, school zones, different speed limits). He is very detailed and reasonable and is always on-time and communicates your next lesson appointments well in advance. I highly recommend this driving school!

Fantastic experience: Excellent driving school, that I would highly recommend. I actually chose Metro Driving School because one of my friends passed on her first try and recommended it to me. I did a package with them and passed on my first N road test, and my sister did too! The instructor, Jay, here is very kind, calm and patient and an excellent teacher. He made sure to be very clear in all the ways I needed to improve between each lesson. I felt very comfortable on my first lesson and was able to learn at my own pace which was very important for me as a new driver and someone who is a bit anxious about driving. The driving instructor is always alert, and gives his full attention on you by providing proper guidance and tips. 10/10 :)

Fantastic experience: The instructor is amazing! 10/10 would recommend. I failed twice prior to taking my first lesson with him. He, unlike other Indian instructors, was always focused on my driving and was never on his phone while he was teaching. He taught me how to properly perform a right shoulder check and if it wasn't for him I probably wouldn't have passed my class 7 road test on my third try.

Fantastic experience: Shout to these guys I had my test at 12 and they fit me in right before my test and I aced it first try

Negative experience: This driving instructor is totally unsafe and teaches bad habits, he told me to be less aware of my surroundings and not look left and right when going through intersections, which is exactly what you are supposed to do, he didn't teach me to check my blind spot when doing lane changes, which was a major red flag for me that I should change driving schools, He also taught me to drive in the middle of the road in case a person comes out of their car, when in residential or industrial areas (smaller roads) Didn't teach me to parallel park or how to park in parking lots, I failed my test because of the bad habits I picked up from this school. Do not go to cheap schools, spend the money on good schools and read the book because teachers teach squat. This is one of the 3 driving schools I have went to in the past 3-4 months and I have spent $280 on lessons and still failed my test. Read the book and don't trust teachers to teach you everything like I did.

Negative experience: my first and worst driving experience with this "school". The instructor JAY was trying to rip me off and not wanting to return my money when i asked for a refund. I don't recommend this place.... i dont know how he got all these good reviews..? i assume he bought all of these positive reviews and delete the bad ones..Horrible customer service

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this driving school due to it's professionalism and effective approach to teaching. I came into Metro driving school with no prior experience and ended up becoming a very good driver within a month! The instructor can speak English fluently as well and is very patient!

Fantastic experience: I let my son tried a few different instructors before picking a driving package. He picked Metro Driving School. Apparently, Metro Driving is the best because the instructor(s) would actually let him drive or give him the control compare to other instructors who were always controlling the brake and steering wheel for him. My son passed his road test on the first try. I would definitely recommend Metro Driving School to anyone looking for a driving school. The only con that I can think of is you have to book ahead of time or buy a package because this school is most of the time fully booked.
