Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed the Young Drivers service. My instructor was David Oleksiuk for the in car lessons- He was amazing! I really feel like I have learned a lot from his teaching and feel very confident to take my G2 road test now. He was not only an extremely good teacher and a great communicator (for example, highlighting what exactly I should be doing, what I could improve upon, what we would be focusing on during a particular portion of the lesson, etc.) but also extremely understanding and friendly. It was very nice to be able to have conversations and make a new friend while learning. This definitely helped me as I did not feel stressed or anxious to make mistakes while driving and was able to be confident and learn from feedback. Additionally, the in car assessments were extremely helpful and I definitely noticed an improvement in myself after David's feedback, especially in regards to driving sub habits. Being able to learn from specific, practical knowledge in the form of these assessments, as well as more unique knowledge such as high way driving or steering manoeuvres in the snow really gave me a well rounded learning experience that I definitely think was the specific result of David's amazing teaching and demeanour. Overall, I really enjoyed this program and learned a lot. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone learning how to drive.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Young Drivers was amazing! My instructor was David O, and he was a phenomenal teacher. He explained every technique with a lot of detail which made them very easy to learn. He is also very funny and relaxing to share the car with.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience learning from David O (aka David in the green car). Not only was he incredibly calm and patient (which really helped in getting me both comfortable and confident on the road), but he also took the time to clearly outline the steps involved in performing maneuvers as well as assessment expectations. I would absolutely recommend him for anyone learning how to drive (especially for anyone nervous about getting into the driver's seat) or even just looking to brush up on their skills.

Negative experience: Poor service . The online course instructor had poor communication skills ..no engagement . Daughtee bored and has Adhd ... so may have impacted ... lessons omg ... ah no avaialbility ! Driving instructor amazing .. good communication and patient .

Fantastic experience: David O (in the green car) is an awesome, calm and kind teacher. i would definitely recommend him to anyone starting their driving lessons. He always responds to messages about questions in a timely manner, he helped me stay calm while behind the wheel and always had tricks to help me while parking/driving, he has helped me become the great driver i am today. He also helped me pass my G2 test on the first try

Fantastic experience: I highly reccomend Young Drivers of Canada. My instructor, David O (in the green car), helped me become a confident, safe driver. His calm demeanour and easy to understand lessons made me less anxious in the driver’s seat, learn manoeuvres I never thought I would accomplish- such as parallel parking, and the preparation lessons for my G2 test let me pass with ease.

Fantastic experience: I trained for my Highway Road test with David Oleksiuk and passed with flying colours. He’s a great instructor. He helps you by training you on the driving basics, goes over all the rules and things to keep in mind while on the road. Would definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to pass their road tests. The green car was a great choice of colour it definitely got loads of looks and I’ll be sure to keep an eye out on the road. Not only was Dave a great teacher but he is now also a good friend. Fantastic experience: Just passed my G1 exit road test and could not have done it without my instructor David with the green car :). Learning to driving made me very nervous but after being out with David, he made for a very pleasant learning experience. He is very patient and understanding which helped me be less nervous and anxious. Definitely recommend YD and David O if you are learning to drive!!

Every lesson left me excited to find out what I would learn next and with David’s calm, instructive, and kind mannerisms I felt encouraged to get better at driving. Overall, I had a great experience and I am very thankful!!

Negative experience: I don't know what has happened to this company, but it's terrible. My oldest had an amazing experience a couple years ago, but my youngest has had the worst experience. The online is brutally unnecessarily time consuming, his lessons were all crammed into a 6 week time frame & now we've waited 4 weeks to find out when his road test is. I can't get a hold of anyone (unless I spend hours on hold) to get any answers. They have my money & now they need to finish the lessons & follow through on the road test portion I paid for. It's impossible to book lessons & it's just not worth the money!

Negative experience: Absolutely the worst driving school. Very difficult to make appointments, driver was racist and very political when teaching our son. Booked their car for road test and it wasn't available for 3 months and will not give refund. Not worth the money!!!!!!

Negative experience: Terrible customer service! Called and emailed many times but could not get a hold of them. I want a refund!

Negative experience: Years ago I took the young drivers program and thought it was excellent. When it was time to book my daughter into driving school we decided to pay the extra (almost double other driving schools) to have her attend YD. I really regret this at the moment. I am not sure if they OVER-booked during COVID or are UNDER-staffed, but either way it is difficult and frustrating to setup in-car lessons. At this point they are booking a month and a half between in-car lessons. At that rate it will take over a year for 10 hours of in car lessons. I have tried calling to remedy this but the on-hold wait time is always 1-2 hours. When I finally get through I am brushed off rudely. I have also left a message with a supervisor but did not get a call back. When we original signed up online YD made is super easy to pay and enroll. I really wish they had told us at that time that they are months behind on in-car lessons instead of simply signing us up and taking the money. Friends with kids in another local driving school are not having any of these issues. Frustrating.
