Fantastic experience: I'm incredibly happy I chose Marc's Driving Academy! Marco is such a patient instructor and helped me go from no experience at all to passing my road test on the first try. He was very clear with the feedback and making sure I understood / knew what was expected of me going forward. As someone who is taking this step a bit later than most, I was pretty anxious, but the lessons were very calm and didn't leave me feeling discouraged. So thankful!

Fantastic experience: Oh my! Where do I start from? After attempting the road test 4 times previously with a different driving school. A friend recommended Marco to me! Marco is always early waiting to pick me. He is very patient and communicates clearly always. The best of all is that he documents his feedback to you after each session and that's the first thing he would work on with you in his next class with. He also made me very familiar with the possible routes in Halifax in preparation for the main day. On the main road test day, I was so glad that the instructor took me through the exact route that Marco had practiced with me and guess what guys??? I excelled with a spotless result. The examiner didn't hold anything against me. I'm so thankful to God and to Marco. I highly recommend Marco. He is a professional in this field. He's kind and very easy to work with. Thank you Marco. Fantastic experience: I spent a lot of time searching for a driving instructor because English is not my first language. It was crucial for me to find someone who spoke clearly and made it easy for me to understand. I was extremely happy with Mark because he explained everything in such a clear and accessible way. He made sure I knew exactly what he expected from me. Before each lesson, we always discussed what we would focus on that day. Mark used illustrations and simple expressions to explain the concepts and techniques we would practice. He did lessons with my son (who passed his test on first try) he is quick to respond to texts/phone calls and has been very accommodating with our busy schedules. After every lesson he would send me copies of his notes so I was able to identify which areas we needed to work on. He was always patient and even booked our driving test for us. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with marc. He is an amazing teacher. The best thing about him is he doesn’t keep knowledge to himself he shares everything and tell you all details and weak points and then make you practice them a lot until you master them. He didn’t hesitate to help me with extra questions I had apart from driving related to parkings and all. Also He was very honest with me and didn’t ask me to do extra classes as I didn’t need them. He was in touch with me until the last day of my test (even though he was on vacation) he made sure I feel confident before I go for test and kept reminding me to review my mistakes. Im very happy to get my license thanks to marc again.

Fantastic experience: Before Marco, I already had lessons with two other instructors, but I couldn't get my license. Neither of them was able to show me objectively the most important aspects of passing the Road Test. Although I have been a driver in my home country for many years, the rules in Nova Scotia are different. Marco was able to analyze my driving style, detect my weaknesses and show me how to improve in a short space of time. Fantastic experience: I had no driving experience before so I was very nervous to get into it but Marco was patient and explained everything I needed to know about a car, rules, and some tips. He never pushes you to do something new unless you feel comfortable to do so. I appreciate that sum up before and after the sessions. That was helpful and easy for me to review between sessions. I added an extra session right before my road test (that was very early morning) and he was kind enough to let me practice with him. As a result, I was able to pass it on the first try! Overall I had a very good experience:) Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: An absolute game changer of an instructor. I’ve had parents, a partner, and two other instructors try to teach me over the years, and I couldn’t learn well enough from any of them. He helped me overcome my anxiety, helped me boost my confidence, while still giving me detailed constructive feedback with every lesson. He connected the lessons across sessions, and made sure to go at a pace that worked for me. Honestly could not imagine driving without him. Two weeks after I ended lessons, I was nervous but capable of driving to the airport on my own in the dark and bad weather. Few weeks after that, I went on a solo road trip to Quebec! He really helped me overcome my anxiety and taught me practical lessons of the road, as well as fueling my curiosity
