Negative experience: My sister had a crash lesson with Nicole in Peterborough before her G test. She was not happy with the lesson. Nicole waisted time on explaining unimportant things like how to keep the car lights on even during the daytime and 3 point turn which is usually not covered during the G test. She should have focused on more important things rather than waste so much time on these things. It was a waste of time and money ($180 for a 90 minute lesson in our own car).

Fantastic experience: Started with Brian, but later switched to Nicole. Nicole really helped me overcome my anxiety with driving, and I even got a 90 on my G2 test! I think their instructions will prove valuable as I continue to hone my driving. Would highly recommend :)

Fantastic experience: I've been practicing driving with my dad for the last few years, but I found techniques I learned from YD have really helped me improve as a driver. Thanks to them, I passed my G2 road test on the first try! Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: As a middle aged person who has often felt intimidated by driving, I strongly recommend Peterborough Young Drivers. The instructors (Nicole and Brian) were extremely knowledgeable and patient. Overall a great experience.

Negative experience: Went through the interview process (full of questionable costs for training and a pitch to buy or lease a new vehicle to drive under their banner)…Only to be thrown under the bus by being sent over to drive test for a knowledge exam without any prep ($130 later). After ordering my own police record check (out of pocket there too). Huge lack of transparency from agencies. If you are looking to become a driving instructor, I would recommend looking at other options first. Young Drivers Peterborough is so unprofessional, the office is as clean as a teenagers bedroom. Avoid, and look elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: All 3 of my kids have utilized the services of Young Drivers and I am extremely pleased with the service and technics used to teach them. Patient and kind. Thank you do much for changing their world and their confidence. Truly appreciated.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely great, just what I needed before doing my G2 test having not practice for a long time beforehand. Got a 98 on my road test with help of my instructor. I had to cancel a lesson due to weather and they rescheduled me the next day! I was able to get my G2 in 3 weeks.

Negative experience: I did not appreciate getting honked at today from one of your vehicles because I won't cross a busy street. Teach your students to have more respect for pedestrians.

Fantastic experience: My daughter was a victim of the pandemic. After moving from TO, to small town to starting university, experiencing lock downs, last minute cancellations (by 1 certain instructor at a different driving school), trucking convoy, & the list goes on … When we moved lessons from TO to P’bo, Nicole & Bob we’re amazing at accommodating. Fantastic experience: The instructors here in Peterborough are fantastic. They teach you tips & tricks to make sure that you're safe and confident out on the road, and make sure that when it's time for your road test that you feel ready to go. Will definitely recommend the Peterborough YD course to others! Thanks for all the help Nicole!

Negative experience: Just witnessed first hand a young drivers student and car blow through a three way stop when it was my turn to go. What are you teaching them?

Negative experience: We have signed up for the program, done the online course yet all of our calls for support both through email and phone call for information or to book a driving lesson have gone unanswered! Very very disappointed!

Fantastic experience: Great driving school. Both my kids went through Young Drivers in Peterborough. Ryan is a great driving instructor. I would definitely recommend.

Negative experience: I paid for my daughter to do her G road test. Due to actions of my daughter, it was decided that it was best to not go through with the G test. I will not get into all the reasons on here however, I can state that she would have been a danger to instructor, other motorists etc. I have contacted the office in Peterborough by email several times now, I was promised that they would look after refunding what part of the money they could. I was told by email that right after the Christmas / New Years holiday they would get right to work on the refund. I have yet to hear back and am growing very unhappy with the lack of professional behavior and further the lack of communication with me. J. Armstrong

Fantastic experience: My son passed his driving test today and we are all beyond excited. The challenges of the last months meant reschedules and gaps, which were taken in stride. Professionally managed, great updates and fantastic teaching have given great confidence. Worth the drive from Toronto to get this wonderful result. So grateful for your work, passion and dedication. And I learned a few tricks too!

Fantastic experience: I feel super prepared for my upcoming driving test after my lesson today with Nicole! She's amazing; she caught and corrected every one of my bad driving habits and a lot of the helpful tips she gave me will definitely stick.

Nicole worked so hard with patience and professionalism through all the challenges the past year and a half brought. Bob made sure the all the driving lessons and tests (since we had 3 reschedules during COVID) and Brent made sure all our sons driving skills were developed for safety and success. Fantastic experience: Today was a very exciting day for our Grace. February 2020 our 16 year old started at Young Drivers of Canada. We decided due to her personality and needing to drive (living in the country) we read the fabulous reviews and choose YD. At first Grace was so timid, nervous etc etc. Her teacher at the time ended up having to leave YD which introduced us to Nicole. Well that was the best experience Grace could have ever had. Nicole was a perfect fit for Grace. Then came the bad bad COVID.....intruputing Grace not once but twice. Nicole so kind...so patience......so sweet.....so intelligent.....so skillful....just what Grace needed, she got her back on track every time. I can not say enough about YD.... If you think it costs a little more then others....believe me its worth every cent.....your loved one is worth every cent. To close I just again can not say THANK YOU enough to Nicole and YD. Fantastic experience: Young drivers is definitely worth it if you are in need of extra practice or just understanding where you are at with your driving skills to be successful for your testing. Both driver instructors I had for my G2 and my G were absolutely great to work with, they were very professional and provided the appropriate feedback to be successful with testing.

Negative experience: Lessons were constantly being delayed. My son saved his own money to pay for this and he went six weeks without a lesson. He should be waiting to take his test instead he is waiting to take three more double lessons before he can even get in the long wait to take his test. Not one email or call to let us know what was going on due to the covid lock down. I understand this is a difficult time but his money is worth something and there should be some form of communication.

Negative experience: I had an amazing experience with Rick as my driving instructor. He gave me confidence and was very knowledgeable about road safety. However on my very last drivers MOCK test, I was put with a different instructor. Ron Pringle made me feel uncomfortable and insecure about my abilities. There seems to be a vast difference between the the instructors ways of teaching and expectations. My parents paid a lot of money for young drivers and we were very disappointed with the results. On top of that cancelled three of my lessons pushing me back more than a month. This experience shook my confidence and brought down my driving skills. This is not what we payed for!

Fantastic experience: FABULOUS instructor; (Norm Bailey) I took two lessons, one for my G2 and one for my G2 exit prep. I lived in Grand Cayman for over 10 years so when I returned to Canada I had to take my Canadian drivers licence. I lived in Grand Cayman for over 10 years with a Cayman licence ( Had a Canadian licence for over 36 years before that ) . Norm makes you feel comfortable, confident and prepared. Norm (Instructor) catered to my specific refresher needs. I know l am now a better driver with a G Licence.

Fantastic experience: It's a very amazing group of people and they make sure you are well taken care of and ensure that you are being taught well and will cater to specific needs of each individual driver

Fantastic experience: I had previously failed my driving test twice before with another driving Centre that’s wen o decided to try young drivers and i’m Glad I did because I passed on my third attempt with them. They will teach you everything you need to know and build your confidence while you learn. Highly recommend !

Fantastic experience: Awesome instructor, learned very useful information. As someone who thought Driver's Ed was stupid in the beginning, my outlook has changed completely. Whether it be because of my instructor making it a fun and hilarious experience or otherwise.

Fantastic experience: Instructors were very patient and knowledgeable. They took the time to make sure everybody understood the habits and sub habits. They stayed on time yet were able to follow the curriculum. The habits taught to me by the in-car instructor stay with me and I feel like I am. a safer driver for having taken the course

Fantastic experience: I hadn’t driven in almost 8 years and was a passenger in a highway car accident two years ago, which caused severe vehicle anxiety. After getting a handle on passenger anxiety, the next step was to try driving. When I first got my license, Young Drivers is the program I went through. It was excellent back then, so, in learning to drive again, I decided to do a 10 lesson package with Young Drivers. The Ptbo YD is simply amazing! Nicole was very informative and helpful in getting me set up, Bob was a pleasure to speak with to set up scheduling, and the instructors I had, John and Ron, were amazing! John was very patient and kind and Ron was great at providing me with extra information and tips about things I was still feeling nervous about. John and Ron are excellent instructors. I would highly recommend both of them to any student and I recommend anyone wanting to learn to drive go through YD. YD certainly helped me in gaining some of my confidence back to the point where I felt comfortable getting my own vehicle for the first time. Thank you to the team at YD!!!

Fantastic experience: Great teachers, easy to understand and friendly. Informative and well worth it. The MTO Drive Test is nearby so it's very easy to do the Drivers Test right after. They are also available for using different locations to better suit you.

Fantastic experience: This is going to be a bit long but I am over the moon with my accomplishment and I literally could not have done it without Mike or John! I originally had Mike before he left, he helped me pass my G2 & helped me towards my G test! I had NO confidence driving and on my first lesson I told Mike about my struggles, he was very understanding and we took things slow, after 10 lessons and I passed my G2 with an excellent score and I spent the entire summer driving back and forth to work and felt good about it. Once I was able to go for my G I continued with Mike and back in April I got in a car accident which shook up my confidence once again. I took another 10 lessons and once again we took things slow and Mike helped me get passed my fears and made me drive in the spots that made me nervous until I could drive in those spots without a second thought. In December Mike left and my G test was rebooked to January so I continued my last 2 lessons with John who was understanding and great for the nerves, it was great having a fresh set of eyes before my test to recognize and help me with my little bad habits! Ultimately I passed when it felt almost impossible at the beginning!
