Fantastic experience: When I enrolled in Carlton’s driving school, I had no experience driving. It started off with some in classroom sessions which were very informative and fun . I had about 10 lessons on the road with my driving instructor, Justin, and was able to pass my G2 test on first attempt. Justin was very patient with me, he teaches well and instills confidence. Fantastic experience: I'm more than happy to say that I chose this driving school. From the first day in class you soon come to see just how inviting and warm the room is with the teacher; with a good balance of teaching and joking around when appropriate. Not just that, but either the driving instructors, both Justin and VJ are great. Though I did not have as many classes with VJ as opposed to Justin, they both are very patient and willing to teach. This approach to the school allows it to really thrive and come time for the test, I felt confident that I was going to pass because of the teachings from both Justin and VJ.

My instructor VJ was phenomenal and gave a lot key points/ phrases in which I’ll definitely remember in the long run. With all the help I definitely did cut, swing and triangle my road test! Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience with Carlton and Vijay! My driving instructor, Vijay, helped me gain self-assurance while operating a vehicle. He provided helpful advice and was comforting when I made mistakes. My in-class sessions with Carlton and VJ were excellent and truly resonated with me. Fantastic experience: My entire family have gotten our drivers license with this team and if we had to do it over again, it would be with Carlton Driving School without a doubt. The professionals are very cooperative and assistive with first time drivers. Vijay especially is really easy going with his teaching methods and helped me become a better driver. Positive experience: Carltons driving school does a great job of making you feel like you're apart of a "family." The instructors are all very friendly, kind, and patient with each other which transfers directly into the atmosphere of the classroom. The in class lessons are easy to follow, and while serious, the instructors are able to incorporate banter, and humour making the classes more lively. When it comes to the on road lessons booking is super easy. My instructor was Justin and he was always sure to notify at least a day or two prior of any changes. He was very flexible and able to help me find ways to incorporate lessons before school, work, etc. Once you complete your lessons it takes about a week or two for you to be booked for a test which is pretty fast. I will say the process/day that you go for your test is a long one so be prepared.

Fantastic experience: I have been with this driving school since the beginning, I started off with little to no knowledge about driving, and when time came to get my G2 I attended, Carlton’s Driving School for in class sessions which were excellently taught and extremely beneficial, Carlton was patient and honest about the information he was teaching. I then transitioned to on road lessons where I had Nan as a instructor and she was just amazing, she was kind, gentle, and patient which is what made me feel really comfortable with her on the road. Couple years later I came back to get my G license and Carlton and Nan have helped me to calm my nerves and assist me with some extra lessons to ensure I am comfortable on the road and with an examiner, and now having my G license, I am extremely grateful for this driving school, and will recommend everyone I know. Fantastic experience: This is one of the best driving schools in the GTA. I have been with Justin for a couple of lessons and for the test, and he has helped me get ready to pass way more than what’s expected. He has always been on time with every driving lesson, and has taught me things that are very useful for even after the test with driving normally. Fantastic experience: Carlton's driving school, got me from being a complete road hazard to passing my G2 in under 2 month. It's a professional MTO (ministry of transportation) approved driving school, but doesn't feel like one; Lessons or classes don't have you feeling like a customer paying to learn. The environment has an atmosphere of welcome friendliness that not only educates you, but keeps you engaged with their personality and honest life stories, helping to relate and understand laws using reason and decades worth of anecdotal experience. Their flexible and affordable classes/lesson(s) are one of the best investments in myself I have done. Give them a call they'll take care of you. special thanks. Fantastic experience: Carlton and his team was amazing! Everyone was professional and getting everything done from the classes, to the driving lesson as well as the test that they take you too. If you are ever needed more practice with your driving they are more than happy to do it over and over intel your confidence with it.

I even recommended my brother to them and will continue to recommend new drivers to them as they are the best people to teach you! Fantastic experience: I’ve been having lessons with Justin for the past few weeks and honestly he’s amazing!! He’s the best instructor I’ve had so far!! He’s really patient, always punctual, he never gets angry or frustrated if I make a mistake, he corrects me and reassures me that it’s okay to make mistakes seeing as this is a learning process so I’ll make a few. He’s very professional and I don’t even feel nervous driving anymore since I started taking lessons with him. He’s very cool and you’ll laugh a lot during the lessons but he’s also serious when it comes on to doing what you’re supposed to. He takes the time to go over each step with you and you can ask a million times if you have to and he’ll still explain it like it’s the first time! He’s really dedicated to what he does and he values you as a student! I’m truly happy that I decided to take driving lessons at this organization and I’m happy I got Justin as my instructor. I would most definitely recommend having Justin as your instructor!!

My lessons started in Alberta with a different school and I grew to be anxious while driving on the road but Carlton driving school fixed that for me in a couple of days. Positive experience: This school is very good at dealing with nervous people. The only issue I had was how long it took for all my lessons to be completed. While VJ was a great teacher he kept canceling schedule lessons. Then there was an issue with illness so that time was understandable but you need to stay on top of them to keep planned lessons. After several canceled lessons finally I was put with Justin and he never once canceled on me and was always right on time for every lesson. I passed my test happily so in the end not a bad experience. All in all put the work in and you'll like this place.

Negative experience: Unreliable, unprofessional. Don't trust Carlton Driving School worst experience every. They do not answer calls or return messages once they have all your money. They will gladly take you money but unable to provide date for in car lessons. Certification nit provided to date.

Negative experience: Giving a 2 because my daughter got her in class lessons complete, however, I had to constantly call post pandemic to get her in car lessons done. When I finally got in contact with Carlton, he told me to call V.J. After several calls again, I got in contact with V.J. V.J took my child for 1 in car lesson then told me he wasn't working for the company anymore and that I should contact Carlton. Carlton in turn doesn't respond in a timely manner to get her in car lessons done. I then find out that my friend had the same experience but pushed to get her son's classes completed. Large classes with limit capacity to get everyone in car. I'm disappointed because money was wasted. I personally wouldn't refer anyone to this service. In all honesty. Work on communication.

Negative experience: The instructor got his student to follow are car then proceeded to yelling profanity, all when he was teaching a call, Just because we honked at him. Extremely unprofessional. What kind of place hires drivers like that!?!?

Positive experience: Carlton was very understanding when I informed him of my fear to drive. He took his time teaching me, made sure I was comfortable behind the wheel & always gave positive assurance. Make sure you keep track of lessons took & payments plan though. MAKE SURE YOU GET A RECEIPT TOO !

Negative experience: Very unprofessional. I did my in class and 10 lessons with Ball a while back (1.5 years). Ive been driving so i called Carlton and told him that i wanted to go for my G2 by the 20 of July, 2016. He told me to send him my information and he would get back to me the next day because im pressed for time as im livong the country. He never got back to me. I called and text with no response. I finally left him a message that i would go with another company. He called me and told me that he would take me on the 18 to Woodstock. He made an appointment with me to drive with him to see my progress. He never showed up i called and text with no response. Hes a waste of time

Negative experience: I'm going to leave a second review with 5 stars if I even get my certification for even doing the course ! they took my money and forgot about me . not everyone has a business and gets their money handed to them for telling you how to stop at a stop sign. . they had the nerve to ask me if I'm ready after the instructor taught me to break the law and not wait the correct amount of time at a stop sign because HE was in a hurry and picked up a second student while he was teaching me . and I don't get a certificate ......so far

Negative experience: Great experience for the first in car lesson and so we set a date for a second a few days after. Waited outside for over an hour and the instructor never showed up, so I texted and called (voicemail was consistently full) and no answer even though it said my message had been read. Called back the next day to see what was up because I was disappointed that I had reserved my day for our lesson and instructor said he had replaced his phone and lost my information and was unable to text me back, so to make it up said I would get a free lesson and I would have priority for a timeslot the next day. I was at work so he said he would call me back later on that night to arrange a lesson... no call back. Called back the next day and no answer yet again, and voicemail full yet again. The instructor knows I'm pressed for time to get my G license since it is expiring soon and I'm just very disappointed because I had invested my time and put my trust in this company to at least answer back my phone calls or show up at my front door when we schedule a lesson. Very unprofessional and unfortunate.
