Fantastic experience: I took the MST course with Gord of Vtwin and two sets of lessons, one again with Gord and another with Dario. The experience from start to finish was fantastic and now that I have passed my motorcyle road test (first try with flying colors) I can definitively say that what they taught me was invaluable and ensured my success. They were knowledgeable, calming, and encouraging all at once, and they were very accommodating when I had to reschedule once. Don't think twice, just go to Vtwin - the best!! Thank-you!

Fantastic experience: I took the accelerated riding course with Mr Bill Reynolds to prepare for my road test and also learn about riding tips! I booked my road test in Merritt (It is closer to where i live and had availability) and cleared easily! The tips Bill gave me and the practise I did with him made it very easy for me in the test.

Fantastic experience: I am a beginner rider and this course helped me immensely. I learned all the basics and foundational training needed to operate and safely ride/drive a motorcycle. Rob was my instructor and was excellent at teaching, engaging us, and ensuring we understood the content and direction of the course. He was sure to assist us with extra teaching in situations that we were struggling with as well. My confidence level on my motorcycle has skyrocketed. Fantastic experience: Everyone at Vtwin was amazing. Administration was always helpful at answering questions and concerns in a timely matter. The instructors were patient, helpful and make you feel at easy( let's be honest, 1st time bike riders have sooooo much anxiety) I've always wanted to learn how to ride, never thought I would actually get over my fear. However, Vtwin was so great and I now know how to ride, with a healthy dose of respect and understanding of the risk. I HIGHLY suggest anyone starting out to take the Vtwin Course as it will make you riding experience 10x better!

Fantastic experience: A totally excellent experience with V-Twin. I would 100% recommend these guys. I took the Learn to Ride course and the organization, instruction, communications and enjoyment was exceptional. The instructor was patient, highly knowledgeable and able to communicate what was needed effectively. My confidence levels after the course are significantly higher and I feel really well equipped to ride. Great job V-Twin!! Following my learn to ride course I took a couple of months to practice and then had a tune up ride prior to my Class 6 road test. Again excellent instruction and invaluable for brushing up skills ahead of the test. On the day of the test I felt confident and well equipped and after a few minutes nerves settled into it and put everything I had been taught to use. Passes first time. Without a doubt V-Twin absolutely played a crucial role. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: If you have any self doubt whatsoever, take the course. Highly recommend, instructors are great, it’s paced at a very digestible rate. Whether you’re an experienced rider or have never touched a clutch before these people will give you everything you need to get on the road.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking to learn to ride a motorcycle or enhance your current skill set, VTwin is the way to go. I had never ridden before and the learning pace was great. We started online learning about motorcycles and went from there, the learning was incremental and continuously build up until we were riding safely on the streets of Vernon. Fantastic experience: I did my training with V-Twin a couple years ago and cannot recommend them enough. They were extremely well versed and genuinely passionate about motorcycles. Even though my course was years ago they still honor their promise of MSA retests and helping for full licensing, this has helped me avoid the massive headache that icbc can be. Although the course seems expensive it is well worth it considering the value you get.

Fantastic experience: What an amazing weekend! I am so happy I took this training, I honestly feel this should Be a requirement for all riders. Gord was my instructor and he was absolutely amazing, patient, Knowledgable, and he made it fun! Todd was great, he was training the other class, gene and mat did the theory over zoom and it wasn’t dry or boring. It’s evident that Vtwin has picked a great team! Fantastic experience: I had a great time during my training with V-Twin. The instructors were passionate and pacient with those that maybe needed a little more than average. My group had mostly new riders, some had never even thought about riding until the course. It was very helpful and a lot of fun, also trying out the different bikes was a bonus for those who maybe didn't know what they wanted yet. (the rebel 250's were my favorites) Once done the course and I had booked my road test, one of the instructors met up with me and we did a tune up ride(included). He pointed out what I needed to work on and what I was doing well. I passed my test the next day with no demerits. I had 3 different instructors and that was a little confusing, but this was right in the middle of the big fires of '23 and certainly don't blame anyone for staying safe.

Fantastic experience: I was once unsuccessful on a bike (800cc) that was too big for me a few years back. This time, I practiced (650cc), took the ARC course and a week later got my license. Pretty happy with the feedback and instructions from Mark. Yippee.

Fantastic experience: If you are thinking of getting a motorcycle, then you need to come here first. This was my first year of riding and the best thing I did was take the VTwin course. I was able to pass my ICBC road test on the first try and I could not have done it without the team of instructors who were there from day 1. They will teach you great riding habits that will keep you safe on the road, and those are the same habits that will help you get your full license. The pre-test tune up ride with Mark really helped me see what bad habits I was forming and how to rectify them before my test. Even the ICBC instructor could tell I had taken a course - they said it was the best thing to do when getting a bike. Thank you VTwin!

The weekend training was great and gave me a solid foundation for riding safely. The tune-up ride with Mark really helped prepare me to pass the ICBC road test first try.

I learned so much that would have taken forever and a lot of mistakes without having gone through the course. Keith was my instructor and he did a wonderful job, clear instruction and ample patience. Taking the Accelerated Course then the Road Test Prep help me gain the confidence needed to pass my test. Fantastic experience: Went through the accelerated course. Gene for skill test and traffic. Then road preparation ICBC test ride with Mark Both guys were great and provided clear and easy to follow training. They definitely helped me pass the test. Anyone looking to get their class 6 I highly recommend going through this. Fantastic experience: Recently finished the training in Penticton and I was very impressed. Everything went smooth from booking the class, to the online training, to the four days of practical training both in the parking lot and on the road. Not sure I could have passed the skills test without all of Bill's instruction and tips. Being able to use the schools bike for the road test is also a huge bonus and was very easy to organize with Louise. I thought Bill was an excellent instructor and I would definitely recommend new riders sign up for the class!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend to get the full course. I had only one month of prior motorcycle experience before taking the course with (Mark and Gene) I can say with 100% certainty, I would not have passed the Skills (parking lot) test and/or the ICBC road test by just reading the book. They teach you not only what are safe riding practices and habits but they also teach what ICBC is specifically looking for when testing. They tell you at the beginning of the course that when you’re done the course and out on the roads, you’ll be able to see which riders have and which riders have not had training. I had Mark for the majority of training. If you didn’t know, they also meet you for a pre road test ride for a couple hours the day of your road test which is included, as of writing this, with the full course. That really helped solidify the skills and tips i learned from the course and Mark pointed out the things I still needed to adapt as habits (which I had forgotten) from the month in between the end of the course and my road test date. The ICBC tester also had amazing things to say about Kelowna V-Twin after my test and said it showed when I was being tested. 2 big thumbs up Kelowna V-Twin. Happy Customer

Fantastic experience: Had Mark as a pre-road test session instructor. He cleared up so many of my questions and pointed out a lot of things to watch out for in the test. Fantastic experience: The instructors were all great. Gord is really good, he pointed out something specific I was doing wrong, which helped me learn to do U-turns really well. On the road test I did a flawless U-turn. Don't bother using an email address on their website, they don't respond, you have to phone. Anneke at the Vernon phone number was nice and helpful

Fantastic experience: I recommend V-Twin. Enjoyed the practical portion the most (of course). Matt was a knowledgable instructor with a great sense of humour. It was a lot of fun. Try to book early or late in the season if you want to avoid getting toasted in the summer heat.

Negative experience: If i could leave a zero star i would. It took multiple phone calls and emails before I was given a road test prep date, a week before my road test day, and no one showed up for me on the time and day. I was giving useless excuses like change of staff and "im so sorry you fell into a massive dark hole in the system". Now i feel very stressed and i am left alone to figure it out. Im the only one person paying for THEIR mistake. I wont be recommending this school to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I took the learning to ride course with V-twin. I had little knowledge and basically zero experience with riding motorcycles. In just about two weekends after doing online theory I was taught all the basic skills from pre-inspection to control in a safe environment at low speeds to highway and residential areas. I would highly recommend this to anyone; even experienced riders wanting to brush up the important basic skills or take a more difficult course. The lessons I learned from this school have proved to be a tremendous achievement and confidence boost that is making riding that much more enjoyable. I tip my hat to the entire team that has made great memories come true. Thanks again V-twin!

Fantastic experience: I am sooo happy I signed up with V-Twin, having no previous experience riding a motorcycle. After completing the course I felt more confident and comfortable, I would strongly recommend V-Twin to anyone. Bill, our instructor was very knowledgeable, helpful and patient even when I was like a moth to a flame with those pylons. Thanks for everything Bill and V-Twin.

Fantastic experience: I signed up for this course in April 2021 so that I could get my MST done quicker then waiting for ICBC (End of summer at ICBC because of Covid backlog). In BC when you get you learners and then do a MST (Motocycle Skills Test) that removes all your restrictions except no doubling and riding at night. While I signed up for that reason I am sure glad I did because I truly learned so much. I had Maarten as my instructor for 6 hours of theory and 6 hours 1 on 1 on the bike training too. Maarten did a great job in both the theory (Over zoom in a small group) and in the 1 on 1 training on the bike. He is a very knowledgeable motorcycle enthusiast and is an awesome instructor. I suggest that everyone take this course, very reasonable priced and it will make you a smarter, safer and better rider.

Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience with V Twin! I had never rode a motorcycle before I took the New Rider Course - I was very nervous, but they went through all of the basic skills and by the end of the second weekend I was riding around town with no issues. Gordon was a great and patient instructor!

Positive experience: If I could write two different reviews - one for the instructor, and another for v-twin as a company I would! Maarten, who was my instructor for the Accelerated rider training, was absolutely great! And would give him 5 stars as an instructor, he did a great job of tutoring me and helping me to feel comfortable, knowing when to push me but also when to take a step back. Sadly my customer experience with V-twin outside of this wasn’t to the great standard that the instructor provided. I’d booked my accelerator rider training for end of season 2020 and took the theory, and understandably when the snow came early my training was cancelled. I was told that as soon as V Twin opened for the 2021 season I would be contacted right away to book in my training since I’d already paid. When it came to early March, I figured I’d just send a follow up email, asking roughly when V Twin would start the trainings back up. I didn’t hear anything back after a couple of weeks, but happened to be driving one day and saw the new rider course happening. I tried calling to see if I’d be able to book in my training since V Twin seemed to now be open, and left a message. After again not hearing back I called and left a message, and then followed up with an email. I eventually received a call from an unknown staff member (they did not introduce themselves or that they were calling from V-Twin) and they were extremely rude to me over the phone, being very abrupt whenever I tried to ask a question about the training. The person was so rude I was made to feel like I had done something wrong, even though all I was trying to do was inquire about a service I’d already paid for.

Fantastic experience: Our instructor, Martin, was absolutely a joy to take lessons from. He made an intimidating task of learning to ride a motorcycles into a really fun adventure that I looked forward to going to every day we had class. V-Twin was organized, excellent communicators, and I feel ready to get on a bike with confidence now. Thanks guys for a really fun couple weekends.

Fantastic experience: I honestly believe that every person who operates, or wants to operate a motorcycle needs to take a course with V-Twin. I learned so much over the long weekend. I took the course in Kelowna over the Easter long weekend. Martin, Matt, and Gordon are amazing instructors with tons of knowledge and experience. When I finished I was confident with the skills required to operate a motorcycle safely. It’s a great way to enter the hobby of motorcycling, and make some friends in your community. Fantastic experience: I took this class recently, having no previous skills when it comes to riding motorcycles. Maarten and Matt were the best instructors that I could have hoped for. You can really tell that they love to do what they do. They both really helped our whole group out in learning the fundamentals of riding in a fun and exciting way. Fantastic experience: I can not recommend VTWIN Kelowna riding school enough! Coming in with experience in riding is one thing, but I was taught clutch-throttle control and I can now do slow speed figure eights on a dime, and I was taught substantial skills and tips to help me pass the ICBC road test. Huge props to Maarten and Todd—both very supportive, and Maarten is an amazing and professional instructor with real-world knowledge and experience. He will answer every question you may have and make you feel fully at ease and confident in your new skills. There’s always more to learn and VTWIN can help!

Fantastic experience: I took the full motorcycle training course this summer. The instructors are excellent, and patient with people who have no experience on bikes. Taking the skills test during the practical training is a great way to get approved to ride alone since they cover everything you need to do. The two weekends spent learning to ride put me on the road with the skills and confidence to be a safe rider. Happy to say I've passed my road test and now have a full licence. Highly recommended taking the training for a motorcycle here, especially if you're a complete novice.

Fantastic experience: The guy's at V-Twin were really great and knowledgable. I work out of town and they were very accommodating and helped me get the course done on my schedule. The theory was done online over two evenings and was informative. The practical portion was really fun. My instructor was awesome. I'd recommend V-Twin to anyone who wants to get into riding motorcycles.

Fantastic experience: I recently took the motorcycle training with V Twin in Vernon. My instructor was Gord. I found the course very helpful, and it gave me a lot of info that will vastly improve my riding skills. Gord was AWESOME! He put the group members at ease with his approach, and his demeanor. I found him to be an excellent source, and a very good instructor. There is nothing I would change about the course, and I would highly recommend Gord if you have a choice.

Fantastic experience: This group is AWESOME. If you're planning on getting your license, take the course from these guys to get prepared. I had wanted my motorcycle license for all my life, and now after 30 years, I finally have it because of the excellent instruction, communications, guidance and enthusiasm from Dan, Bill & Martin (sorry guys, not sure on your last names). I was very nervous starting out as I had never really ridden a bike before and by the time I was finished the course, I had so much more confidence. I felt I had learned how to properly handle a bike and what the differences for driving were (compared to driving a car/truck). Also, because I had taken the course, I got an hour and a half of private instruction from one of the instructors, plus the use of one of the course bikes, before and for taking my road test. That was HUGE - it made me much more relaxed going into the test. The instructor stuck around until I was finished. When I passed WHOOHOO!!!, he and I rode the bikes back to the storage unit and off I went, in all my glory (I was stoked). I am elated to finally have my license (and a new bike!!) and there's no doubt I got it from having taken the course and done some practising in between. Thanks V-TWIN, Ride ON!! Kelly

I had never ridden any motorized bike of my own, and had never driven a standard. Kim's instruction was fantastic. He was clear, detailed, and patient every step of the way. I didn't think that within 2 days I would be riding on my own on the streets of Kelowna! I found that we moved quickly through the hands-on skills, which is what I needed to really push myself. The theory that is taught will make you a safe and assertive rider on the road, and even gave me skills to apply as a motorist. Thank you V-Twin for an awesome experience. Even if you have ridden , but never taken a course, this makes you think about how you approach riding, and makes you realize that you will be constantly learning, and improving the way you ride until you park the bike for the last time! Fantastic experience: I had no riding experience, and after this program I was able too learn the proper techniques of how to handle an motorcycle and too ride safe. The instructors were incredible, and having the icbc skill test part of the program was a plus as well.

For many years I have wanted to learn how to ride a motorcycle and your excellent Instructors quickly had me on the road with confidence and strong skills! Being a complete beginner, my nervousness was soon eased by the informative classroom sessions and seeing the other students' range in ability and age. The closed-course coached by Al was clear, systematic and concise and the number of students small, making for concentrated and effective learning. As a female rider, it was great to see other ladies in the course and Al adjusted to each student's own rate of progress! Kim Young's superb coaching on the open-road course gave me huge confidence in my motorcycle handling skills, judgement and integration into traffic. Kim kept his instructions clear, simple and logical, and gradually introduced more challenging routes, making it easy for me to progress. I experienced a little natural apprehension for the Road Test but with the ever-confidence building and well rehearsed pre-test rides with Kim, I passed with flying colours on my first attempt. The opportunity to use V Twin's motorcycle fleet, not only for training but for the road test as well, gave me a chance to try different makes and models, ultimately leading to the right choice for my own motorcycle purchase. Anyone who wants to learn to ride for the first time or improve their riding should take this course! I cannot recommend this course and these Instructors enough and am grateful for the safe and confident rider I have become through V-Twin Motorcycle Training. Fantastic experience: Its been over 20 years since i have been on a bike. To make sure i'm not remembering just the bad habits i got some personal lessons from Bob. He looked at what i knew, explained how the rules have changed over the last 20 years and helped me get up to speed in record time. It was the first time i focused on learning to control the bike at low speeds, and it has really helped in traffic when it bogs down in Kelowna. Riding a motorcycle is an investment in machine, time and learning to be safe. Bob gave me both the skills refresher, and the confidence to be out on the road again. Thanks Bob for a job well done.
