Glenn's Driving School

Negative experience: Paid for in class and driving for my son. They do not provide pick up or drop off for students. And they make it mandatory to pick up the driving school certificate afterwards. I asked to mail it but they refused. With all the driving to/from all 5 classes, and to/from all driving lessons: it would’ve been nice to have the option to have the certificate mailed but they refused. I would not recommend this school to anyone who relies on ETS or doesn’t have a vehicle. I have a car and found it very draining to go/from there so many times. My son did say the class and driving lessons were good but a parent, or person with a busy schedule it is very draining.

Fantastic experience: I see a huge difference in my daughter's driving since taking her drivers training at Glenn's. The training was excellent and very thorough. She's full of knowledge and confidence now. There are so many bad drivers out there, you do not want to cheap out on a driving school. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I went here more than a decade ago. At the time, it was seen as the comparable but budget friendly alternative to AMA, which was seen as the gold standard for driver's training. However, AMA has fallen so much, and is still more expensive!!! For the first time in our family, my baby cousin went to AMA instead of here and frankly, it was a mistake. We are having to teach them pretty basic stuff they would have learned at Glenn's right off the bat. Now we are having to go back and correct their already learned bad habits which is way harder than just teaching them the correct way/best practices in the first place. I beg you: As a fellow road user that can't stand bad drivers, PLEASE SEND YOUR KIDS HERE TO LEARN TO DRIVE!!!!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful school! The in class instruction was extremely helpful and provided me with important and informative information on all aspects of driving. The in class instructor was also extremely kind, easygoing, and helpful. Glenn is an amazing driving instructor, who helps you through each aspect of driving, and reminds you of what to do, while also allowing room for you to practice what you have learned. He is very patient with nervous drivers as well. An amazing driving experience in my books!!

Fantastic experience: Glenn's Driving School was amazing in training my teenager to drive, and he passed at the very 1st test, on his 16th birthday. It was a great birthday gift and Glenn's driving school was a major part of that. I gladly recommend Glen and his team.

Fantastic experience: Glenn and Rey are two friendly people I’ve met at this driving school.As a teen who has never drove a car in his life i was scared at first but eventually got it and now am very confident when it comes to driving.They won’t scare you by taking you directly on a highway while you are still a student because its risky.For a first timer i would definitely recommend this school!

Negative experience: The classroom instruction was very good and office staff very professional. I had my teen enrolled in a program where if he didn't pass the Glenn's driving test they would provide additional hours at their expense. My teen learnt the basics of driving and passed the Glenn's test with flying colors and we got our driving certificate (insurance reduction) My teen told me that they spent the majority of the time driving in the neighborhood that surrounds the driving school. They didn't practice driving on the Yellowhead, Anthony Henday, Downtown, traffic circles etc... All of the stressful and difficult training has been done by me. All of the real training has happened with me challenging my teen in all of the areas mentioned above. Make sure to ask the driving school some tough questions if you decide to go with them. Paul
