I couldn’t have done this without them. I would definitely recommend this school forget the other ones! Lol

Negative experience: Please avoid TTCC if you are looking for training from a professional company. Trying to get my DZ auto license has been nothing but a nightmare. My issues began when I started my first training. I went for a double session and the truck I was to be driving the next day was in the shop (nobody informed me of this). Therefore I had zero experience driving and could not do the test. After getting the test rebooked and another driving lesson to get practice driving, I went to the drive test centre and the wrong test had been booked by TTCC. After completing my Z portion and being unsuccessful with the D, I was finally able to get another test booked. However when I arrived to do the test this time, after paying a $350 truck rental fee, the truck I was supposed to drive had no working brake lights - and again nobody informed me. After that I have been trying to get money back for this horrible experience I have had and have heard nothing. I have reached out to Tammy June multiple times and was assured my emails were being forwarded to someone who can help me, but have heard nothing. I live an hour away from the training site and drive test centre. With the driving I have done, days off of work, my personal time and gas, and the cost of the course, I have spent thousands at this point and have little to show for it. This was a horrible experience with this unprofessional, disorganized company. I would advise anyone looking to book with them to go elsewhere, the unprofessional nature of this company needs to be known. Please save your money and find somewhere else.

Negative experience: Terrible Experience - Avoid This School at All Costs! I had the absolute worst experience at this trucking school. From the start, everything seemed unorganized, but I tried to stay optimistic. However, things only got worse. After completing all the training, I was forced to wait several days—nearly a week—just to take my final test. This ridiculous delay wasted my time and money, leaving me in a limbo that was beyond frustrating. The lack of communication and respect for students’ time is appalling. It’s clear that they don’t care about their students or helping them succeed. Do yourself a favor and find a more professional and efficient school that values its students. This place is a nightmare!

Negative experience: I’m giving a 1 star review only because I cannot give a zero. And I haven’t even attended the school yet!! Through Better Jobs Ontario, I decided to register with TTCC in Ottawa west, as this is the closest location to where I live. I contacted Victoria to get started. She provided very little information right from the get-go and offered no support or guidance throughout the registration process. I had to email her multiple times to get responses to simple questions. I made sure to have my medical done and submitted to her ahead of time, should there be any hiccups it could be resolved before my start date. 3 DAYS before I was set to start, she decided to look at my medical and saw check marks and told me I could not register until my medical went to review OR I could go to Drivetest and try and prepay for my AZ written. She told me it didn’t matter if I passed or failed (it matters to me as it’s MY money to pay for the test). Obviously I couldn’t prepay because my medical needed to go to review. So I was unable to start my program on the date I was supposed to. Not to mention, I asked at least 5 times if she could give me the course outline and hours so that I could arrange childcare for my daughter. Anyone who has children knows how difficult it is to secure childcare. She would not give me even a sliver of information on this until I was completely registered. So this left me panicking with 3 days to secure childcare before my anticipated start date! LUCKILY I wasn’t able to start anyway due to neglect on her part! Fast forward to a month later, medical has been reviewed and accepted. Thinking I am set to start, I contact Victoria once again and we set a program start date. She sends acceptance letter and it’s now 2 weeks longer than originally stated on their website AS WELL as my original acceptance letter from a month prior. This affects your weekly living expenses through BJO and this change made it so I will be unable to pay my bills with what will be alotted. This 2 week extension took off over $100 per week that I was expected to get. When contacted about this, Victoria tells me that their program lengths are VARIABLE and can be 12 weeks minimum, up to 14 weeks maximum, and that Better Jobs Ontario is aware of this and works with this situation all the time…I call bull on that one. Never have I EVER heard of a variable program length at ANY school of higher education (or private career college). EVEN IF this was something that actually exists, I know BJO would not accept this as they have strict funding guidelines that are set in place well ahead of time. There is zero wiggle room with BJO. End stop. My worker told me that he is unsure why there would be an extra 2 weeks added to the program out of nowhere- thus proving my theory that BJO DOES NOT deal with these kind of fly-by-night changes. There is so much more I could include in this review it’s insane, but I am tired, and frustrated and done spilling my guts about my experience with this school. I am looking into Crossroads in Smith's Falls as of now and I will make sure to tell everyone to steer clear of this school. Victoria needs to be fired for her bare minimum assistance, the lies she told me multiple times about (again- seems to be a recurring theme here!) the servers being down, not returning emails/ phone calls, etc etc etc. if she is the face of this company, it’s a wonder they even have students attending! She is just awful. TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!

Fantastic experience: I just passed my DZ test today, without any errors! Great organization, i would recommend it to anyone...Sydney, Larry and Jacob were awesome! Dane and Shawn on the zoom courses were also very informative and helped prepare me for on site courses!

Negative experience: Don’t waste your time and money with this place there a SCAM! A course should take less than two weeks took months(class time and truck time). Let alone all the lack of communication and scheduling. Online the course says 2 trucks day I got my contract that said 1 day 6 hours showed up to this day and my instructor was a WHOLE HOUR LATE! And then…… I was told to leave early because TTCC double booked him!!!! So I only got 4 hours of training then the next day BAM…. I’m at the Drive Test Center to do my test! Of course I failed because who can remember everything in a whole 4 hours. And let again such a waste of time to deal with these people. They can’t even answer or reply Better Business Bureau because they know there in the wrong. Hopefully when my lawyer finishes putting this case together something will be done with is place. Clearly I should have looked at the reviews before I chose this place. So horrible.

Fantastic experience: Did My Z endorsement air brakes course here. I had Keith as an instructor for the air brake course. He was pretty thorough with the course material and made sure everyone understood and didn’t rush through it. He is very knowledgable about trucking and the trucking industry. I have seen some of the other reviews for TTCC. I didn’t have any problems. I was in contact with Victoria to sign up for the course and had no issue

Negative experience: Please don’t waste your time and money here. They never taught me backing into cones for my AZ. They provided me defective truck during my road test. You will be set up for failure not success. If your are funded by better jobs. Please don’t loose your last chance with this school. I have been stuck to get my license from last six months. Sent them multiple email and calls no reply. My worst decision of life to go to this school. Please save your money and time.

Negative experience: Save your money and go somewhere else! A 3 week course has turned into a 4+ month course. Once they have your money they will stop booking training hours or tests and will be impossible to get in contact with. As for the response from the company, obviously my registered name in the course is not 2 letters and I have called this number multiple times a week and have asked for a refund and every time I am told my message will be forwarded and assured my hours and test will be booked. I paid for the most expensive package they have to offer and still waiting for remaining training hours and test to be booked with nothing on the schedule for weeks.

Fantastic experience: I was trained by TTCC/Ottawa and had Jakob Paquette as my trainer on the Airbrake system. He set a tone for a relax and calm lesson and was willing to go extra mile to try and get you to understand the lesson. Couldn't have asked for a better trainer.

Fantastic experience: My Air brake course with Instructor Jakob was amazing! It was a 2 day course where I learned a lot of useful stuff. The instructor's experience in the field made the learning process very smooth!

Negative experience: Do not waste your money!!! Went here for my DZ and it was a horrible experience. I worked with 2 different instructors Ahktar and Hardeep and they both gave different advice on certain Trucking questions I had and barely spoke English which made it more difficult to learn. While driving the DZ truck during training the instructor was on his phone the entire 4 hours talking on a headset not paying attention. He let me drive the truck wherever I wanted, he even got me to stop at Tim hortons lol. We never did the actual route you take on your test day. During the test day at drive test out of 6 students only 1 passed the other 5 failed. Even one of their own instructors (the only competent one Mike) wanted us to email head office and complain about the way the other two instructors were teaching us. They do not prepare you properly at all so expect to fail with TTCC! Head office never answers calls so be prepared to send over 20 emails before getting a reply. If you want to learn trucking properly go to Crossroads trucking academy they provide the Z endorsement in house and the instructor’s are 10x better than TTCC. I successfully got my DZ with crossroads on my first attempt as did all the other students! That says a lot about the success rate at TTCC it’s not good..Save your money! This is a real review not like the other ones below.

Negative experience: Finished gold course first week of Oct 2023. Been calling and emailing since asking for my certifications. Nobody seems to be able to give me an answer and rarely gets back to me. Now Jan 2024 still don’t have certifications and feel like I’m being jerked around and pissed. They were running 2 schedules and were constantly double booking machines and I would get bumped to machines i wasn’t scheduled on. Then told me I missed 30 hrs but was over booked 26. Course was a mess all the way through and should of saved my money.

Fantastic experience: The receptionist is Christina is amazing. She is here to fix all your problems. Very good teachers! Thank you to Achtar and Mike. Passed Drive Test first shot. Takes 2 months to obtain AZ license.

Fantastic experience: Had a fantastic time getting my Az. I had Terry from Ottawa west, and I don't think I could have had a better instructor. He was very patient and supportive during the learning process. He really ensured I was following the procedures properly. From coupling and uncoupling to checking the oil level. Everything we did together he made sure I fully understood. The only criticism I would have about the school is the organization. I felt like the schedules for published a bit late. And my drive test was delayed due to truck maintenance not being done on time. Overall a great experience. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for an az/dz licence.

Fantastic experience: I got my AZ licence today October 31st, 2023 at Walkley Ottawa drive test center on my first attempt. I would like to thank TTCC team that gave me the opportunity to train at their center. I would also like to accord especial thanks and gratitude to my trainer HARDEEP BHELE for the unwavering support and encouragement throughout the training period. Thanks for being supportive throughout the journey. I will not hesitate to recommend anyone that is seeking to become a truck driver training.

Fantastic experience: I just want thank all TTCC Ottawa team especially Hardeep, thank you for being amazing Instructor, I have truly enjoyed entire experience of learning, backing up the trailer the down shifting was the hardest and you made it simple, your time is greatly appreciated.

Positive experience: My instructor Terry Smith in the Ottawa west yard was the best I could ever ask for! Lots of great stories and examples to share while learning to drive a large truck. Terry and I had some great times while also learning lots on the road and in the yard. Terry is very calm and understanding and is a very good teacher. Overall a good school could use some work on organization of schedules and training their employees to use the new technology and tools provided to them.

He was always encouraging, very patient and made the training enjoyable. Negative experience: Pure garbage. I regret using this school, and their reviews are fake... I will NEVER recommend this school to anyone. I'll only strongly tell everyone to NOT go here and tell them about his horrible experience. Plus, ill tell you why their reviews are fake. First off, the reason I used this place was because they said they had a school in carp. LIE. Then they said it was a 3-day course, PLUS in their contract it says estimated completion date. 3 days long LOL it took me over 2 months. What a joke. So when it came time to get my money they were GREAT, they were quick to answer and very friendly. My Z endorsement was a joke. It was a 3-hour course in reality with videos in black in white, on zoom. I learn a couple of things, but nothing I couldn't have looked up on Google within a couple of minutes. Either way, it was done, and I figured the rest was going to be OK. Boy was I wrong. It took me 2 weeks!!! To get a hold of Melissa. (The receptionist in Ottawa). BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE AN OTTAWA WEST LIKE ADVERTISED SO ILL CALL IT OTTAWA, I called almost on a daily basis to book the driving portion of my test and because no one was answering my messages. I'd call and get told that she would call me back the same day and if not, I was to call them back. So I did. After 2 weeks of this, I got pissed and went to the school. This is when I went to their address for their "west" Ottawa location, but it didn't exist. So I went to the East location where I meet the wonderful Melisa. And she told me her first lie. When I walked in, she was on the phone chatting with another co-worker, they were trying to get more students to pay. I'm not sure about anyone reading this, but don't you think that you should take care of students in the course already, especially if theirs a 2-month waiting list??? But no, let's get more people in and lie to them to make money. I'm sure this place will last, LOL. This is when she told me that their servers were down, and she couldn't book me, But one of the instructors came in and told her took prioritized AZ drivers first. Lol, It's an old Old OLD trick to say, our servers are down. Like seriously, plus the guy came in and told her to book other people. So she told me she'd contact me when she's ready After another week of waiting, I restarted trying to call and it was the same story. So at one point i asked the Customer service person if this was normal, and she said "sadly it's very common" BOOM, that where all the fake reviews come in. So I asked the same lady if I should just start showing up to the school, and she did. But it was the same story a week and a half later, SERVERS ARE DOWN, LOL. What a joke. SO after a month of this, I went in again, and she told me 3 date that my classes would be on. So I waited another week for those dates, and I was expecting a confirmation email or something, but I didn't get anything. So I went to it AGAIN, and she lied AGAIN and told me she never told me those dates. THE NEXT DAY I got an email with dates at the start of June. Keep in mind, I paid for the course on April 19th. In the contract, it says Estimated completion date April 23rd. Their website is a lie, advertisement is a lie, when you call them they have a message telling us that we can do this all online, but that's also a lie, their request information button also doesn't work, the people who work there lie. I'm not done with this horrible experience... So finial I'm with an instructor and like everything else they failed to tell me that this is a 3-day course, (3 very separate days) with only about 2.5 hours of practice each, adding up to 7 hours. Again, that was complete new to me. So the instructor was good, but every time was a new guy that I could understand less and less because of their accents. Plus, each guy would tell me what the other guy was teaching me was wrong, or they were missing a bunch of stuff. This story doesn't end, there's a lot more, but I don't have enough space, PLEASE FIRE MELISA SHE'S SO LAZY AND NEVER IN. DO NOT GO HERE, YOU WILL REGRET IT. STUDENT WILL AGREE

Negative experience: If I had listened to some advice given to me, I wouldn't have fallen into the hands of this fraudulent TTCC, a place where only one individual is the only person that manages everything and if she's not in the office you are ruined. I regret ever committing my money, so before you go there for any training, think twice and don't fall for their fraud.

Fantastic experience: I did my AZ truck training here in the winter of 2022. Dane did a great Job of administering the online theory portion of the course. Jeff was a phenomenal in-truck instructor. Melissa was great in the office, running the operation from behind the scenes and very accommodating. No regrets having chosen TTCC for my training.

Fantastic experience: I started my journey towards my ACZ course on April 25 , Dane Arcand you were so awesome on explaining and teaching on line course very explainingful on every tasks on longhaul to local , also had the opportunity to having you on my first part of trucks hands-on i call it lol , taught me double clutching remember clack - clack lol Dane you will understand this lol thank you .. Now for Jeff you are a computer of chapter 6 the way you teach your students you make us feel like somebody give us the time to relax and concentrate on are training you are the best at what you do and wouldn't of past on my first shot at the drive test center you and Dane are the best at what yous do thanks so much Now for last but not least Melissa, you made every day that was scary/bad , simulator , truck , scheduling so smooth you were so helpful on simulator and were awesome on scheduling , evertime I had a problem you solved it love you for helping me threw this Thank you

Fantastic experience: Just got my AZ license after taking the course, it was an awesome experience that has me prepared for the industry. My trainer Mike was an immense help and an incredible instructor!!!

Fantastic experience: The on-line training course was very informative and helped prepare me for the practical driving hours. Having both AZ & DZ students attending, the trainer was patient and efficient with over 40 students from three different provinces. Driving instructors greatly emphasized the air brake testing methods which are essential for acquiring a Z endorsement. Inspections of the trucks were done before & time permitting,after each training trip. If you're looking for a commercial driver's license, TTCC will help you all the way.

You are an absolutely amazing instructor, you taught in a fashion that made it much easier to grasp! Without you, I would not have passed my ministry test on the first attempt! Positive experience: Great place to train. Jeff Flack was my instructor and his no nonsense training style was just what I needed. He's been teaching a long time and really knows what you need to learn for the test, and for the real world wince you're on the road. Melissa and Shannon in the Ottawa office were great, bending over backwards to make my single dad schedule work and got me done in time. My only reason for 4/5 stars is that they are a very busy training centre, and the passing of schedule changes and information is sometimes delayed. But they do exceptionally well for all they have to deal with. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Had a great time taking my course here, all the staff was just awesome! Melissa and Shannon made it a joy to come in for training, busy or not you got a welcoming smile! I mostly trained with Jeff, someone who's passionate about his work, knows his stuff and made it look too easy! He made sure I was more than prepared for my tests! Even with his loaded schedule, he was always at his best! Even got to see Dane one day, my online class instructor, who made the online side just a breeze. Fantastic experience: I have nothing but good things to say about this school. All my instructors were great! They all did a great job in overall preparedness for the ministry test but what really stands out is that they found individual issues that occurred on the driving side and took me to a spot to work on those issues (friction point, gear revcovery etc) to make sure I got it. Thank you Jakob, Jeff, Abdelghani, Dan and Michael for setting me on the path to success for my future in truck driving! Also thanks to Melissa and Cassandra for accommodating me around my schedule and answering my many questions!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this driving school. Excellent and very approachable staff, But the star of the show is the driving instructor Mr. Jakob Paquette. Very effective teaching strategy and through the roof enthusiasm. He will not only teach you to pass your driving test but to be a good driver. He gives different driving techniques and at the end of your course you will feel your confidence on the road, checking of mirrors and speed will become natural to you, he doesn't blame you if you did wrong instead he motivates you and lifts your spirit. Fantastic experience: Very happy with my experience overall with TTCC. Office staff was helpful especially while dealing with my pain in the *** scheduling. Jeff is an amazing instructor, He really cares about individual students and tailers his training to each person's strengths and weaknesses. He has trained myself and another co- worker, and both of us are very happy. If you if you go in with an open attitude and work with him, you will leave with a liscence. That simple. Thanks TTCC!

Negative experience: Wow!!! I really wish I had read more comments about this school beforehand....total scam they charged me almost 3 grand for this "3 week course" when I finally got to the in-truck portion of the course the instructor they gave me was so unstable I had to ask for a new one. Because of that I got to miss out on a while week of training and then they tried to rich it all by making me train for 9 hours in a day. I still need to try the test again and they told me to let them handle it so I wouldn't have to pay again. Then they didn't talk to for almost a month maybe more and now they want me to pay for my test again....trash school.

Negative experience: I went to their location @1540 Startop to speak to ladies in their office she closed the Door in my face but she give me 1.800. To call her Again I call since 12 pm No answer @ all The only trucking Schools I didnt have Chance to Sat down & have Meeting one on one

Negative experience: Absolutely ridiculous “6 week course” been here since March 1st and I’m only half way through the in truck, very poor organization, I’ve had 6 different instructors, and only 3 days a week in truck at 3hours, I do not recommend this school at all huge mistake choosing to go here also multiple times instructors not showing up and showing up late, The only good thing I can say is Rob from Cambridge and Brent from Peterborough were very good instructors, James Ottawa Campus

Negative experience: Its a joke that you pay the exorbitant price that this school requests and still they teach you with material that is full or typos; measurements and values that your supposed to remember. The teacher correts them as he goes but sometimes forgets untill someone asks! Another thing, with Covid, classes are virtual and with lots of LAG, TTCC cannot provide speedy internet to their instructors and students suffer at the end. BEWARE! You don't have my real name because i would like to stay like that. I just finished classes with Dane , he made many appolgies about the laggy internet and while the typo was NOT on the book but on the class material that he passes around, ask anyone that just graduated. Or i can add pictures if you would like!

Negative experience: Its day two of in class and i deeply regret taking the course. It takes hours to review 30 simple and very basic questions. I wouldnt recommend this course because its just pathetic

Fantastic experience: They are patient with me even tho I'm not the easiest person to teach because I dont learn like normal people and have lots of anxiety. I have progressed alot but it's taking me longer than normal people to learn and they are still patient and go out of their way to help accommodate their students. They are friendly and I learned a lot from the trainers there.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend going here I learned a lot and the trainer's I had for in class and in cab were great very knowledgeable fun to be around and have a great way to teach you what you need to know and how to do what you need to do to pick up things as quickly as possible and retain it. Fantastic experience: Had a great experience here, Just don't be late for class. Dane is a great in class instructor and really helps keep you calm before your driving test, Jeff was an amazing in truck instructor, Calm and helpful. The entire experience was stress free and i passed on my first attempt.

Dane is one of the coolest people you will ever meet a very intelligent funny guy. Just don't be late.. and ps sit in the front. The office ladies are wonderful.

Fantastic experience: Transport Training Centres Of Canada is one of the BEST TRANSPORT TRAINING Schools in Canada. I went to the school in Ottawa where I received a very good training that allowed me to pass my tests and obtain my ACZ licence. This is a School where People DO CARE about students. With Transport Training Centres of Canada, you don't just get a licence, but you get the skills you need for a successful professional career. I am not trying to advertise TTCC ... the success of every single student can testify about the school.
