A dream driving academy

Negative experience: While driving in traffic, I witnessed one of their vehicles cut off another car right before a red light, forcing the driver to brake abruptly. Even more concerning, the driver sped up to prevent other cars from merging, creating a dangerous situation on the road. As a driving school, it's important that both instructors and students model safe and respectful driving. This behavior not only breaks basic traffic rules but also puts everyone on the road at risk. I hope the academy takes these concerns seriously and ensures its drivers are trained to follow proper driving etiquette. Do not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Ryan is such a fun, engaging, and experienced instructor who genuinely cares about your safety AFTER passing your N test and knows exactly what to do to turn an anxious learner to a confident driver very effectively! When it comes to driving, having fundamental skills is one thing, but what's more important and what you cannot teach yourself is your mental state when driving. Ryan knows and teaches you how to think for you to drive safely by repeating the same moves while asking you questions over and over again until you actually get it. From turning onto a busy intersection to merging onto a highway, I can do all of them without thinking too much thanks to the muscle memory developed while taking his lessons. I never, ever thought that I'd be excited about driving in my life, but now I do after taking 10 lessons with him and passed my N test. Fantastic experience: I learned about Ryan,through a friend.Unfortunately,my son took lessons from some other school,not naming.His teacher told him,after 8 lessons,he was going to fail his test.(Nice confidence builder,NOT) My son took the road test three times and kept failing. So then I deside to reach out to Ryan.He returned my call immediately. Fantastic experience: Ryan is a great instructor. Day 1 you are on the road. Not driving around in parking lots and back alleys. I have taken lessons from him for a year and passed the test on my first attempt. He helped me gain the skills that allows me to drive in regular traffic without panic or overthinking. Another great thing about lessons from Ryan are that he always instills confidence and optimism. I think if your goal is to become a good driver which extends beyond just passing the test, Ryan is your guy.

Fantastic experience: As a new immigrant, I had to pass a road test to exchange my driver's license. So I have been kind of preparing on my own. Then I took 1 lesson from Ryan before my road test to get more comfortable and to increase chances of passing the test from the first attempt. It did play out perfect. In 1.5 hours Ryan has literally shotgunned at me a lot of useful information and hints about driving safety, techniques, and what I didn't know about driving in BC (although I've been driving in BC for quite a while). It made me feel much more confident, and I passed the road test from the first attempt. Before the exam Ryan has provided me a bunch of advices over the phone and reminded about important stuff to pay attention to. Another thing is that he is not trying to convince you into taking more lessons than you really need. Thanks, mate! Next stage - getting my motorcycle license exchanged, which Ryan prepares for as well.

Had only two lessons with him BOOM ! Got the LICENSE… He teaches you all the techniques and correct road safety boosts you confidence. Ryan brought my confidence from 0 to 100, never would I have thought I’d be one to drive but I got my N on my first try. He taught me great techniques to perfect my parallel and reverse parking . He's a very honest and down to earth guy who just wants you to be safe when driving on the road. I went to Ryan a month after my first road test, we touched up on a few things and he is definitely the reason I was able to pass. Fantastic experience: My son had done a few lessons and was a pretty decent “learner” however kept struggling and failing when it came to road tests. After his 3rd fail we decided to take a different approach and a new teacher, we reached out to Ryan and after 2 lessons and a 3rd pre-test lesson - he passed! Finally! My son had nothing but great things to say about Ryan and with him teaching martial arts he also works on techniques to help calm the nerves! Fantastic experience: Ryan is professional, easy-going, and lessons started on time! I had a drivers license from another country but had to switch to a Canadian one by doing the road test. I was not confident and had much to improve. After three lessons, I was not only confident to pass on the road test (which I did), but also confident to drive anywhere. That was huge for me.
