Negative experience: I wouldn’t recommend this driving school as my instructor was not that patient to say clearly , on the day of test he was shouting and not saying in a proper way. I took 8 lessons but it is waste of time and failed my G2 test. Customers should be valued not treating disrespectful.

Negative experience: Find another driving school - PLEASE. Save yourself the headache that I'm currently going through. Pat, the owner is hard to reach, when you do get him, it's a head banging session on the phone call to schedule driving time for my son. He doesn't return calls. So far my son only received 5 lessons, no road test booked and no communication as to when these will be done. This has been happening for almost one entire year! I've left multiple messages and no response! I would NEVER recommend this driving school to anyone! This is so sad as my intention was to support my local community small business. NOTE: I've paid Pat fully for 10 lessons and road test. 5 more lessons are still outstanding and road test to be scheduled. Come one A+ (Pat) do better!!

Fantastic experience: I learned all the necessary things for the test well in advance and I was able to go through everything multiple times, which made me a lot more confident going into the test. Completed all the lessons and it was a good experience.

Negative experience: Sent my girl for driving lessons in Aug and that was good. However what was not advertised correctly is that we have to pay extra to use the instructors car for driving lesson. So ok we ended up paying more. The first lesson was a schedule mix up and was scheduled only after we called many times to get it scheduled because Pat missed the time. Ok no worries we thought it happens. However since then I have not been able to get him (he promised to call after his vacation to schedule driving lessons) and not returning mine, my husband or my daughters calls. Very poor customer service Pat. Wonder how the others have not had this problem. Had we known before we would never have signed up. Can you please return our calls so we can get our daughter Aahuti the driving lessons that we have already paid for and her licence ?

Negative experience: PLEASE READ BEFORE ATTENDING!!!! I don’t normally leave bad reviews and hesitated to leave one today as the owner Pat is quite friendly but I’ve had multiple bad experiences with this driving school. I attended the A+ driving school back in June of 2018 and received 10 lessons from a driving instructor named Kumar. He practically forced me to go to Peterborough for my G2 test even though I asked to go Port Union as it was included in the driving school package I paid. He then made me pay an additional $100+ aside from the $500+ I had already paid for the driving class + lessons. The first time I said I wasn’t ready to go but the second time he assured me I was prepared & would pass and took me. Well, I didn’t. He legitimately yelled at me in the parking lot in front of others when I didn’t pass & then tried to book for me another drive test at Peterborough but now for $200+. When I asked why the fee is doubled the second time around he said “that’s why you pass the first time”. My neighbour and her husband took driving lessons with Kumar as well and both have the exact same experience as me. He pressures you to take your road test at Peterborough for more money, doesn’t properly train you, then you fail. This has happened to 3 people I know, it can’t be a coincidence! They are scamming people by making them pay absurd amounts of money with promises of passing because it’s a non-busy area when they don’t even fully prepare you. Aside from the lessons, I was told by the owner Pat that my information (attending driving school) was sent to the ministry so I could pick my driving record to provide my insurance company. I pay the fee at Service Ontario only to find out the information wasn’t there. I call him & he tells me he’s going to send it now & I can go Saturday morning. I message him before leaving the next day and he replies to tell me to go Monday because the system is down. So you’re telling me the system was down for a whole year? Why was this information not sent right after my driving school was completed A YEAR AGO? I have paid over $700 at this driving school and quite frankly it was a waste of my money & time.

The driving Instructor Kumar was very knowledgeable and provided good tips for me to clear the road test easily in the first attempt. Others like Pat were also professional and friendly and my road test was also scheduled by them at a short notice.

Fantastic experience: Ok so i searched google for driving school near me and A+ came up. Called the number and visited their office to register for my drive test. He's a busy guy (really! cant count the number of phone calls he received within the hours i spent with him) so you might need to do some 'serious' follow up calls and text messages. Finally got an impromptu date but trust, PATRICK: he prepared me well 24 hrs before and on test date. I was surprised i passed so easily. He helps to focus on the key essentials I highly recommend him.

Negative experience: I don't write reviews but I HAD to for this. I definitely do NOT recommend this driving school. So UNPROFESSIONAL! I passed my G1 test in October 2016 and applied in November 2016. I was supposed to do the full course for $475. I paid half up front (around $237) and the rest was supposed to be paid upon completion of the classroom portion. First of all, I had ONE in class lesson in November and that was it. My instructor never called me again. I called and texted many times about it, and all I got was "i'm busy with another student" or "Can you call back later?" I went in person TWICE to the driving school to get a refund and they told me a sob story about how my instructor's mother had died and that's why he was avoiding me. The guy I spoke to literally laughed when I came in and told him what happened. I calmed down after hearing that and after they reassured me I'd get a new instructor. I still NEVER got a new instructor and I NEVER received another lesson. This past July (2017) I finally caught them while they were open and demanded a FULL refund because I had enough of them messing with me. My test was supposed to be in July and I still don't know how to drive. I hate to say it but do yourself a favour and don't waste your money and time because all they do is play games. It seems they aren't interested in teaching anybody outside of their kind. I'm disgusted. If they see this review don't even ask me to take it down. Treat your paying students better!

Fantastic experience: I only did an hour lesson with Pat before my G2 exit test (to get my G license) to brush up on my driving skills and habits but that one hour was enough to give me me a lot of confidence going into my exam. Before my lesson with Pat I wasn't sure of my parallel parking skills and wasn't sure if I remembered all the details needed to pass during the exam (checking mirrors, accelerating enough to merge on the highway, etc.) but Pat was great at encouraging me, reassuring me, and teaching me everything I needed to pass. I'd definitely recommend A+ Driving - especially Pat's in-car lessons!

Would recommend a plus driving because they really know how to teach first time drivers how to be confident drivers and make sure their students will pass their road test. Negative experience: They have a good classroom BUT when they said they will call me for the driving lesson they didn't...... so I had to call them in order to get one scheduled and you know what happened on that day? The instructor never came on the day because he had mechanical problems but he never hesitated to call me about his issue (I had to call him 3 hours after the assigned time) nor obviously made it on time for my lessons. New drivers plz don't waste your money here its a hoax.

Negative experience: Horrible service!!! Booked the course online, never got the response/confirmation. Emailed regards the promo price, never got the response. Called the office to book the course, told me to do it online. -.- Or to come to the office. Came to the office within the working hours, it was locked! Called their number and it said: The number you have called is not equipped with income services. Horrible, horible service!!!!
