I have never driven a car before, but after a 15 hour-training session (10 classes) with him, I was able to pass and got my class 7! Highly recommend for beginners! Fantastic experience: I had my learners for 2 years but never bothered to want to drive. Circumstances got to me seek out my N license so my mom recommended Hung and MT My Tho Driving School. He is a great teacher who will teach you the fundamentals of driving in a way that makes it easy to understand. After around 8 hours (5 to 6 sessions) of lessons, I was able to pass easily on my first try. The rate he charges is very fair and if I need a teacher to help me with my Class 5 license, I will definitely choose him to help me again!

Negative experience: Avoid at all costs. If I could give 0 stars I would. I booked 4 lessons online with this driving school. I paid for all 4 of these lessons through his online booking site. I called the day of the lesson to confirm if my son meets him outside and he said he doesn't know anything about the lesson and that he never charged for these lessons when I have 4 charges on my cc. Rip off artist for sure! This business states that they don't accept credit card payments on their online booking tool - that is a lie. Perhaps they should go on their own website and book a driving lesson to see that they DO accept payments online

Then we decided to try My Tho Driving school and only after a few lessons, she passed on her first try. I asked what was the difference and she mentioned that her experience My Tho Driving School taught her how to drive safely but also instilled confidence to drive. Even practicing with her, I noticed that her confidence behind the wheel increase after a few lessons with Hung. Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Hung as a driving instructor. It is because of his patient, gentle, kind and knowledgeable approach that I PASSED MY DRIVING TEST FIRST TIME. I am from Ireland and attempted to learn in Ireland and in the UK- had a negative experience with a driving instructor in the UK and this put me off driving for almost 7 years. I am 31 years old. This experience and my age contributed to my fear and anxiety with driving. Hung was aware of my fear and anxiety without me having to go into detail and he adapted to my experience and learning style. He not only teaches you the rules of the road and equips you well for the test but he also teaches you safe and helpful driving tips for life long driving. I went directly from L test to Class 5 road test and obviously had no prior driving experience in BC. But I have passed the road test eventually and been confident to drive on any road now, not just the testing route. He had well-equipped me with observation skills and practical techniques for a safe driving. Fantastic experience: I just did my road test class 5 today at ICBC claim center on Wayburne location. I have to say that Mr Hung is the best teacher I could find here in Vancouver. His teaching techniques are so easy to understand and remember. The way he talks to me makes me feel it's pretty straightforward to follow the direction. He would point out which mistakes on your drive way so that you wont make those "silly mistakes" again. And every time you came to those roads again, he would remind you about them to make sure you completely understand what and where youre going. Unfortunately 5 stars are the highest stars that I could give to him. Cause I literally feel like Im gonna give more than that. This is my first class 5 test and I passed at my first attempt, thank you so much Mr Hung! Youre the best driving instructor ever!

Fantastic experience: Hung is a great instructor, my daughter had previously failed her Class 7 GLP road test after taking a GLP course with another well established driving school. On the day of the test Hung took her for an hour and half lesson. She felt more confident in her driving just after just one lesson and she passed her road test on the same day. Hung's ability to communicate directly in a clear concise manner really helped her focus on what matters when it comes to safe driving and passing the road test. Fantastic experience: Hung is a very persistent instructor who really pushes his students to be the best they can. One takeaway that Hung really emphasized to me was Knowledge, Speed, and Observation. He told me that if I remembered those three things and applied them when I was on the road, I would be sure to pass. I'm very thankful for Hung and his driving knowledge and skills that he has passed onto me and I hope to see him in 2 years when I take my next driving test to advance to the next level.
