Fantastic experience: I passed my G2 test in 2 months, starting from “too scared to start the car” levels of scratch, on my first attempt. My instructor was Sam and he is a LEGEND at his job—so patient (never ever got frustrated even when it took me ages to figure out which way the car goes when I turn the wheel), kind, easy to get along with, knowledgeable (told me all sort of ways to stay safer on the road that weren’t explicitly on the G2 exam), funny, and above all willing to answer all my questions, even the dumb ones (because I can’t stop asking them). Really the prototype for what a teacher should be. GO HERE!

Negative experience: Today we had a terrible experience with Soroush at IXL driving. I am not writing about his driving lessons but about the shock he gave us today! There was always a fixed price of $150 for his car to be used on the test day plus $50/hour for practice. This price was given to us by him and IXL school with no mention of a discount. Then, the night before the exam he told us the price is $300 for the car only! Although we booked the time with him months ago!, he waited to tell us about his new price exactly the night before our test!! So we did not have a chance to find another car! I don’t recommend using his car for drive tests. Better to rent a car with rental companies!

Fantastic experience: When I needed a driving instructor to help coach me for my G2, I checked google. I easily decided to work with Sam due to the positive reviews I read from his past students. After working with him in the past days and passing my exam, I must confess that I was lucky to have been able to find him. Sam did not just coach me but he also gave me the confidence I needed to pass my G2. He was professionally calm but firm in explaining what I needed to do. He went through every detail with me and ensured I was ready to pass. He also offered to assist me book the exam date for free. I mean, people charge for this. On the exam day, he took me round the route and we did some quick rehearsals. This was enough for me to pass the exam. Thanks for the chats and friendship. I highly recommend Sam to anyone who needs an Instructor. Sam would not just meet your expectations. He will exceed them!
