Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Winston’s driving academy. My instructor Momin was very helpful and taught me everything i needed to know about driving and I was able to pass my test no problem. I am now a confident driver who has learned through many techniques how to drive well and safely.

Fantastic experience: I had Momin as a driving instructor and he was incredible! I initially only signed up for 5 hours but Momin made me feel so comfortable and confident behind the wheel that I ended up doing 15 hours in car lessons. Fantastic experience: I passed my G2 road test in the first attempt yesterday! Thank you Momin and the Winston's Driving Academy! I was assigned to Momin after specifically asking for a teacher experienced in teaching older students, like myself. I am 48 years old with very little driving experience. Learning to drive at this age is not the same as learning to drive when you are 16 years old. I'm also a newcomer to Canada and had to deal with and learn all the different rules and nuances. I will add that before meeting Momin I took driving lessons from another teacher which was a horrible experience. So I know how important it is to find a good teacher. Momin was always punctual, kind, patient focused, and most importantly an effective teacher. He understood where I struggled and how to get it accross to me. The learning experience itself was always pleasant. The results: I passed in my first attempt! Also worth noting that the onboarding process was smooth and positive and that the Winston's staff were responsive, courteous and helpful. I couldn't recommend Winston's Driving Academy highly enough, and particularly Momin who is a superb driving teacher!

Negative experience: It’s immoral and failed to pursue my social responsibility if I do not comment on this “driving academy.” From my registration in this school till come out with failing my G road test, I experienced a lot of hardships. In the first case, the school was not in a position to assign a proper driving instructor at the right time. It refused and I postponed three times until it gave me an instructor, while, I paid for 10 10-hour road lessons. From many requests, he assigned me two instructors namely, Kana and Shahid in a different session. Kana taught me three lessons and unexpectedly disappeared, just quit to continue the lesson. Then he assigned Shahid and just wasted five lessons without practical instruction. Generally, this institution is not in a position to teach new drivers and assign driving instructors. The owner, Mr. Winston is not listening to what you are saying, he only expresses his interest. He forced you to cancel all your schedule and only accept his plans. I didn’t recommend anyone to go to this “driving school”

My daughter who was taking lessons from Ahmed was lured into a secluded area, far from home he then turned on his camera and tried to get her into a room inside a house that was under construction! Stay away from this company they clearly hires individuals without performing a background check!

Negative experience: My son has been trying to book his in-car driving instruction, but no one returns his calls. We paid in advance for the in-car driving instruction. Do not use Winston's Driving Academy as they will not contact you to arrange in-car driving. I tried to get a hold of them, but they ignored my messages too.

Fantastic experience: An Enjoyable Learning Experience! Winston’s Driving Academy is an incredible learning institution for new drivers. Not only was the in-class component with Mr. Abhi informative on theoretical concepts, but the in-car lessons made said concepts applicable to the open road in an efficient manner. Due to the combined efforts of my on-the-road driving instructors, with Ms. Nafeesa serving as an introduction to practical applications of classroom discussions, and Mr. Abid’s calm and positive disposition helping solidify and improve upon this new knowledge of driving, I was, thank God, able to acquire my G2 license.

I was very uncomfortable when I first started driving and was only able to drive for the lessons that came with the package as I had no access to a private vehicle. Nafeesa made me very comfortable and confident so I passed the G2 test on my first go. I would highly recommend.

He is professional, punctual and calm. He explains everything step by step and in a perfect way so that it is easy to implement on real condition. He knows exactly what are the areas I was struggling or needed improvement and gave me the proper instructions to overcome all. if you do not speak english well. Don't worry! He can still help you. Fantastic experience: Took their full course for G2 and got my license first try at the metro east location within 2 months. Nafeesa was a great instructor and gave me a lot of pointers to pass the test no problem. I had never driven before and she was able to get me from no experience to a pass in just 10 lessons. Fantastic experience: I had taken 13 driving classes previously with some other instructors and still was not confident. One day, fortunately, I stumbled upon Winston Driving Academy and was referred to Abid and Nafisa. I was lucky enough to get trained by both of them. I passed my road test and I am very confident now. Mr. Abid is very calm, composed and patient with students and that is one reason of his success as an instructor. Next, he is very structured and would straighten out all concepts so you are able to drive with confidence. He imparts the driving knowledge in a way that would remain with you for a lifetime. You just would not forget it. He firmly believes that knowledge is power and would empower you by providing that concepts in a logical way. I had actually given up on driving but now I drive with confidence. Cannot be more thankful and grateful to him and Winston. Moreover, he is very flexible, punctual and professional.
