Fantastic experience: I only took a few classes with sunshine driving school and I’d have to say each class was filled with encouragement. I saw a huge difference from my dad teaching me how to drive vs the instructer. My dad didn’t remember all the teqniqyes of the menovers and wasn’t able to properly teach them to me. So when I took my classes with the instructor I thought it was going to take a lot of practice and that it would be extremely difficult. However she explained the steps in a way that was easy to understand and I was able to get it within just a few tries. This was only one of many examples I have. I really enjoyed the time I had with the instructor and how she made me feel welcome. By accepting my beliefs and encouraging me constantly. She is an amazing instructor and I make sure to say a quick hello when I see her out in public. Thanks to her I was able to pass my test with almost a perfect score my next time around.

When I started lessons my confidence was not the best. She instilled confidence in me and assured me I was a good and safe driver. She corrects you when needed in a way that does not make you feel bad. Before my test, I was so nervous but having her there boosted my driving confidence. I passed on my first try with her help. Fantastic experience: I took a 90 min class from Rise N Shine right before my road test (which is my first one) and passed! Satpal is a very good instructor. Patient, knowledgeable and she told me every detail I should pay attention to. Really appreciated.

Negative experience: Be careful when booking her for your road test!! First she will confuse you by saying that i will pick you from your home which she does in her lessons, but then 15 minutes before your road test starts she will say i am waiting at ICBC for you. Like what?!! After that her fuel lights are on and it indicates that car can go only 18km as fuel is low and because of this ICBC fails you in the road test and she replies as a driving school instructor that my husband said ‘this much fuel is enough it can go up-to 50km’. First of all you are the one who runs the driving school as mentioned on your website so you should know all the rules about the road test that if the fuel level is low and fuel lights are on it is an automatic fail in road test and she is giving excuse that his husband knows better as he drives a cab. She is good with tricks and techniques but needs to be more professional and careful!!

Fantastic experience: My son wanted some driving lessons before his test, we were only a couple weeks away so pretty last minute. He had a friend that used Rise N Shine Driving School so requested it. The instructor was able to fit us in after her holiday for 4 lessons right before his test which included a practice test. My son said she was an excellent teacher and was glad to have these lessons because there was a lot that he was not taught by his dad. He had his test yesterday and passed with only a couple of demerits. I highly recommend Rine N Shine!!

Negative experience: I just watched a student try to parallel park not "parellel" as it says on your website... the student couldn't do it, so the instructor gets in the driver seat and tries to parallel park and failed, unable to complete the job... sigh* Also... when you trade seats with your student, you might want to pull over... you don't do this while sitting in the middle of the road! twice you traded seats with your student while sitting in the middle of the road. What kind of lessons are you teaching your students? I called to report the driver and the driver was the person I talked to. I would not recommend using this woman! It's like the blind leading the blind! UPDATE: no you are lying in your reply. There was lots of room and you couldn't even park the car. you also traded seats with the student twice while sitting in the middle of the road. You are not a skilled driver.
