I have been lucky to have her as my instructor and thankful to her for transforming me into a confident driver on the road. I have passed my exam in first attempt and truly enjoyed entire experience of learning. She is too polite,helping,good tutor as-well as gold hearted lady. Money is not her priority at all.

Fantastic experience: My name is Hardeep Singh. I have taken class 5 license preparation training from ACE Driving Academy. I got the license in the first try. I took total 4 classes. The trainers explain the rules and regulations very well. The nature of the trainers is very good. They explain very lovingly and politely. I will advise others to take training from this driving school.

Fantastic experience: I got my licence on my first try and got my lessons from Gurjeet who was very calm and collected during the lessons. The way he taught me was so easy to comprehend and he helped me hone in on some of the abilities I had and strengthen those that I was weaker with. Highly recommend going with Ace Driving Academy especially Gurjeet. From me it’s a 10/10.

Negative experience: Highly unprofessional lady Jatinder Minhas! She was teaching one of my family member and I was thinking to take classes from the same Academy but this lady doesn’t know how to talk or how to instruct! Her communication skills and General etiquettes are below poor! she abuses, shouts and even hit people in frustration and stays on call during the classes. My cousin used to feel so drained by this lady’s energy cuz she doesn’t know how to speak to people and just keep shouting in a very absurd manner! You can’t teach anyone in this manner if the student feel so scared by her behaviour how will they be able to concentrate on driving. She’s an instructor but that doesn’t give her the right to mistreat or misbehave with people! She arrives late at classes but drops you on time! So it’s a waste of money! They’ve poor coordination between the owner and the instructors. I would suggest everyone to not take classes from this Academy! I

Negative experience: VERY UNPROFESSIONAL I rented a car for my road test, but unfortunately, I did not pass on my first attempt. The lady called me and asked about my road test, and I told her I didn't pass. She sent me a link and asked me to book another test using that link, which I did. Another day, I received a call saying that I should have asked her before booking the test because I took another student's spot. She was very rude, unprofessional, raised her voice, and used unkind words. I felt very bad and disappointed, so I told her that she could have the spot back, and I would cancel my booking. The registry rescheduled my booking without receiving an email request from me. While booking the second road test, I paid for the test and the vehicle all at once. On the day of my road test, the lady called me again, asking why I had used her link to book another road test, as that link was only for her students. She raised her voice, shouted, and didn't let me speak. I told her that she had rescheduled my road test, not me. She said that since I rented a vehicle from her school, she would let me use her vehicle. She asked me to email the registry to cancel the vehicle rental and request a refund, and then send the refund to her account once I received it. I did so. The next day, she called me and started shouting, demanding that I pay her. I told her I was waiting for the refund, but she got mad, abused me, raised her voice, accused me of theft, and threatened to report me if I didn't pay her. I received an email from the registry stating that the car I used for my road test was from Ace Driving School, so I am not eligible for a refund. (She wanted me to double pay her) I would not recommend this driving school to anyone. They are very unprofessional, especially the owner, who is very rude. (Please take some business ethics classes to improve your communication skills. Life is not all about making money.)

Negative experience: I am posting this review not for any criticism, but because I don't want anyone to waste their time or money. This driving academy only values their time, not the customers' time. It seems like the team has no interest in running a driving school. And Such a rude behavior!

Negative experience: EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! I had a very unpleasant experience with Ace Driving School. The owner and the instructor are both extremely unprofessional , they constantly lie and mislead about any test schedule and classes. It took me 3 weeks just to have 2 lessons . I wasted my time and money after them ! They reply to messages and calls initially but after the first 1-2 lessons, they will keep on postponing. There is heavy lack of communication between the owner and the instructor which creates confusion for the students in regard to test booking and classes schedule and they are hesitant to ageee their basic mistake. During one of my class, they made me drop the previous lesson's student back home and after that he only conducted an 1 hour class instead of 2 and called off for the day. The owner as well as the instructor are extremely rude when I pointed out their mistakes. I will not recommend anyone to this school ever.

Fantastic experience: I recently passed my driving test. Highly recommended. My instructors were Jatinder Maam and Tejinder Sir. I cant explain how grateful i am to Maam and Sir for their hard-work, support and patience through out this learning phase. They both were professional, patient and friendly. Moreover, I was able to gain new knowledge about driving and got my confidence back to drive.

Fantastic experience: First of all, I can't thank you enough for Jatinder for being so kind and nice being my mentor becoming a driving instructor. It is unfortunate ta say that I no longer work with ACE driving school but it is with great pride that I was once a member of this team of Instructors, everyone was very accommodating and I've learned a lot and it has molded my career to becoming a better driving instructor I am now. I would still recommend ACE driving academy even though I am in a different company right now. There is so much to say, but again... a big thanks to Jatinder for everything.

I feel like a mockery when she told me to watch youtube to learn how to drive a car. If I have to learn a car through social website, then why should I need to pay your fees. Negative experience: I did not pass the test with this academy. I paid for 2 hours of practice before the road test plus the vehicle rental. I have more than 6 years of driving experience, so I didn't think it was going to be complicated. The first 1.5 hours were good, but then the car I rented to the academy had a mechanical issue. I remained calm even though the road test was in less than 30 minutes. I had to use a different car at the last minute and had little time to adjust. I don't blame the academy for my error during the test, but once I was going home, Jatinder called me, and she ended up making me feel terrible. She maybe thought I was not going to pay her because she started to yell at me, saying it was all my fault. She said the mechanical issue should not affect because the car was similar. I mentioned we lost practice time, and she interrupted and said the practice started early. Again, I was NOT blaming them for my error, but besides feeling bad due to the test result, I felt bad for how Jatinder reacted. The payment was made as agreed previously so that behavior was not necessary. I do not recommend this academy.

Fantastic experience: Choosing ACE Driving Academy to learn driving in Calgary was one of the best decisions I took. I had the pleasure of learning from both Gurjeet and Jatinder and that made my experience even more complete. Gurjeet is a calm and collected person who has the ability to figure out your weak points on Day 1 and makes sure you master them. Learning from him is like learning from a friend and that makes things so much easier! And Jatinder.. If you learn from her, she will make sure you get even the most basic things right. And not just that, once they have made sure that you have learnt all there is to learn, they both also share a bunch of driving tips which go beyond the scope of the Road Test and also some general life tips, which coming from people living in Canada for so long is invaluable to new immigrants like me.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful learning experience with ACE driving Academy. I had zero experience in driving a car and had lot of fear and anxiety about driving and getting a driver license always seemed like a distant dream. However, thanks to Gurjeet Sir's continuous support and motivation, I cleared my driving exam in first attempt. He has a knack of identifying your strength and weaknesses and molds the training accordingly. His motive is to ensure that you don't just get your license but also become a safe driver. I think this is a virtue missing in many driving instructors today. The techniques he explains are very easy to grasp and make life very easy during driving. I was horrible when it came to turning left or right on intersections. Now with his tricks up my sleeves, I am able to maneuver the car quite smoothly even during challenging situations. Before my exam he had given me tips on parking and the steps to follow if in case things don't go as planned. They actually came in handy as I aced all 3 parking with ease during my road test. I was really elated to clear my driving test but the only sad part was that it meant not meeting him for training again. Its only his magic that an under confident person like me is able to drive safely today. I hope more students get benefited from his expertise. I recommend to everyone who is planning to give their road test in NE Registries to consider ACE Driving School as their first choice. My trainers was JATINDER Ma'am and GURJEET Ji. JATINDER Ma'am was noticing and pointing out even smallest problems in my driving and than providing the method to solve that problem. She was training me with only one target in her mind to get me pass the driving test and taking so much of pressure on herself for achieving that target. She was very polite and focusing through out on my driving and even deferring her phone calls for later time to give a full focus on teaching me. GURJEET Ji, gave me a lot of confidence and in case of parallal parking, he told me a method to take vehicle little ahead in case if it is getting the line touch while taking car back and this has actually helped in real road test. I was about to touch the line and since i knew the trick of taking vehicle bit ahead i have done the parking fairly good to get me paas. no other tutor is teaching your for such a eventually happens during real test. I was driving car in India for last 19 years and because of traffic conditions in India i had a wrong habit being so cautious of scanning every corner while crossing anything even though if i have a right of way and therefore i got failed even after taking 8 hours cotching with any other Car Training School in North East Calgary (i will not named that cotching class as i think there may be my mistakes only while giving the test). Than i came into contact of JATINDER Maam and GURJEET Ji, and they work really hard on my driving to teach me forgetting my very old habits of driving and learn the correct driving habits for Alberta. Thanks a ton to ACE Driving School specifically to JATINDER Maam and GURJEET Ji..

The driving instructor- Gurjeet was so patient, reassuring and even went as far as demonstrating several skills and maneuvers I was initially struggling to master and then ensured I practiced them again & again. Gurjeet goes above & beyond helping you ACE the road test, he gives you clear instructions with detailed explanations that will make you an exceptional driver for life. For the Alberta road test preparation, there's nothing better than having a professional driving instructor who will politely tell you where your driving is deficient and work with you to correct any shortcomings.

Fantastic experience: Gurjeet is really an amazing trainer and I was able to pass my test in the first attempt all because of his professionalism & detailed explanations. These people are not all money minded , I told them that I will give my test in my own car & they never forced me to rent a car from them. Fantastic experience: My wife took classes from them & Gurjeet trained her so well that she was able to pass in the first attempt. These people are not at all money minded, Gurjeet gave an extra half an hour class & didn't even charge for that. They didn't force us to rent a car with them , infact helped my wife and trained her in our personal car which we really appreciate. From getting the test booked till brush-up classes, Gurjeet & Jatinder guided her so well & in a professional manner. Thank you so much guys and keep up the good work !!

Fantastic experience: I am highly recommending Ace Driving Academy for the driving classes. The academy has highly skilled professional Instructors. My Instructor, Mr Gurjeet was extremely experienced, polite, gentle, and supportive. He ensured that you understood everything that he taught. After all my 5 sessions, I was able to do highway driving, rural driving, lane changes, all parking and everything which are required as a class 5 driver. He identified my weakness and focused on it until I was able to do it correctly. Being a good instructor, he educated me to be a safe driver rather than focusing on passing the exam. The course also included a mock test which had helped me to pass my road test in the first attempt. Apart from it, It also included an Insurance reduction certificate e-learning module which is a plus point!

Fantastic experience: I was searching for a driving school for awhile. I came across ACE Driving school and sure enough they helped me ACE the driving test!! The instructor is spot on and knows what their doing with lots of experience in her hands she is very friendly and polite! I would definitely recommend to other people looking for a great driving instructor!

Negative experience: The 5 star reviews all sound fake, or are probably just friends of the owner. My girlfriend just started driving and paid for 10 hours driving with an instructor. Her 10 hours just finished so I asked her to drive me around and wow. They didn't teach her a damn thing. She didn't know how to start the car, couldn't put it in gear, couldn't park, couldn't brake and turn properly, couldn't drive over 50, couldn't change lanes, NOTHING. All she could do was drive in a straight line going like 40. What an absolute rip off. I sure hope you either refund my girlfriend or re do her ten hours with a different instructor that knows what they're doing

I booked a brush up course and rental date for two people and since one of the people no longer needed both services, we informed the lady on the phone the day before. The next day she called and started speaking rudely and raising her tone because we cancelled one of the services. Despite receiving money for one person, she was still angry at the fact that she was getting half the money. She raised her voice, gave attitude, demanded more money (although we cancelled one of the bookings in advance), and blamed her lengthy travels on us (although she lives in the same community as us). Some situations are understandable but being unprofessional and disrespectful because you're receiving half the money (for one person instead of two) I will have to go out my way and write a review to let people know the service.

My instructor was supportive, knowledgeable, informative, and caring. Negative experience: Very unsatisfied with my 3 driving classes with Ace driving school. Asked for refund for my remaining 2 classes was a hustle too. Got it after few days after listening to continuous rants of unprofessional phone calls. Jatinder Minhas really needs to step up her professional behavior.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with ace driving school. I was able to start my hours on the road immediately, i didnt have to wait weeks or even days to start. It really prepared me for my road test, and the instructor was very good and helped me by practicing in the areas i felt i needed help with. The instructor explained my questions and madensure i understood all the aspects of driving. They were very flexible with my practice times and they would pick me up and drop me off at my house. Also my practice was in the area the road test would be taken on. I am very pleased with this driving school beacsue it helped me become a very confident driver. I would highly recommend this driving school, im so glad that i picked this school.
