Fantastic experience: I took the motorcycle safety course this summer. The instructor was a bit gruff but he means well, however due to my difficulties he called in a private instructor at a subsidized price because I was struggling to keep up. Sammy spent the rest of the course with me one on one and he was excellent, although I wasn’t confident enough to hit the streets at the end. Overall a good experience and intro to motorcycles.

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience taking this motorcycle course, thanks to my instructor, Darren. His teaching style made concepts clear and easy to grasp. I wasn’t quite confident enough to participate in the road ride at the end of the course, so Darren kindly arranged for me to come back at a later date. On the day of the road ride, I was the only student who showed up, but Darren still took me out for the ride instead of rescheduling. He genuinely cares about his students and his passion for teaching is evident. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to learn how to ride a motorcycle. Thank you, Darren, for making my learning experience so positive and memorable!

Fantastic experience: I did the weekend motorcycle class and was incredibly pleased with the course. Darren is a fantastic trainer who took the time to explain not only the mechanics of the bikes but also the fundamentals of the road rules so that just a few days later I was able to pass my motorcycle road test having not ridden a motorcycle in over 25 years. I was very impressed with the structure of this course and would recommend it to anyone who asks.

Fantastic experience: Abdi is a great driving instructor. He is absolutely professional, patient and ensures to fine-tune your areas of weakness. I have passed my exam in first attempt all thanks to him. I truly enjoyed the whole experience of learning. Highly recommend the instructor.

Negative experience: As a first time female rider this course was not female friendly. I was extremely disappointed especially on the second day, last day of the course - the bike I learned on, the clutch was actually non functional. It was broken, loose and beat hence having a difficult time and being singled out heavily in the group being the only girl. They actually removed the bike from me once I informed them.. after being told I wasn’t ready for the group ride I had to sit out and head home early to find out the group took photos without me, I saw on their social media. Once again being extremely singled out. I do not recommend this course to any girls.

Fantastic experience: I took the refresher course with Saied, he was very knowledgeable and made sure that we worked on the things that he noticed right away that I needed to work on. He gave me the knowledge and confidence that I needed to pass my road test, which I did two days later. My road test instructor said that it was almost as if I had written the book on driving. Thanks Saied!

Fantastic experience: Just a quick shout out to say that Abdi was a wonderful instructor for our daughter who was hesitant as a novice driver.! He was patient and helpful and made it a good experience for her.

Fantastic experience: I just got my motorbike license yesterday, and I couldn't be more thrilled! A huge shoutout to my incredible instructors, Ismail, Darren, and Sammy. These guys are top-notch, providing excellent training and the best road tips to ensure I felt confident and safe on the road. Tina from the reception was also amazing, always ready to assist and making the whole process smooth and enjoyable. Plus, I rented the bike from them, and it was in perfect condition. If you're looking to get your motorbike license, this is the place to go! Thanks a million to the whole team for an unforgettable experience!

Negative experience: Motorcycle class Would not recommend! Getting yelled at, humiliated and even being told to smack other people unacceptable. Very rude instructor. Give people with trauma issues a 100 percent set back.

Fantastic experience: I had a 2 hour brush up course with Ismail. After that, I did another 2 hour brush up and then the driving test. I passed the test! Ismail was very helpful and answered all the questions I had without making me feel nervous. Thank you!

Negative experience: Worst experience ever! On the road sessions are condcuted on parking lots so please don't expect to get a real road ride experience if you're looking forward to taking a road test. On top of that rude instructor and poorly maintained mc's are just not worth the money that you'd wanna spend over there.

Fantastic experience: Darren is an absolute gem. His no nonsense approach to riding coupled with his quick wit made the weekend I spent learning how to ride a motorcycle a dream. As the only female who made it through the course, I was impressed by his professionalism and the fact that he didn't treat me differently than the other riders. He is completely focused on safety and road craft and I highly recommend Quality to anyone wanting to get their class 6.

Negative experience: Took June 3rd and 4th, 2023 Live to Ride weekend course. Knowledgeable instructors and I enjoyed it for the most part BUT Darren didn’t wear a safety helmet during the entire course -contrary to Mike who consistently did- and I find that be totally unacceptable and isn’t the role model that a seasoned instructor in a reputable driving school must exhibit. I also find him disrespectful to some students and acting weird I.e. biting an Iranian girl finger after she didn’t use 4 fingers to brake a couple of times and she did tell him after that it did hurt. Other than that, it was fun. Probably will continue the journey but certainly with another driving school with no Darren in it :)

Fantastic experience: Great experience. I had Darren for the motorcycle course and l learned a ton. He gave me a lot practical knowledge and I was ready for my road test the very next day.

Fantastic experience: I had Ishmail as my instructor and he was great! He is very knowledgeable and has a nice, calming presence. I took the insurance reduction course and took a couple of refresher courses after that got me feeling confident and perfectly ready for the driving test. I cannot recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: I am glad chose Quality Driving school, as a new driver I learned so many diving experience from my instructor Ismail, he help me build my confidence and I passed my road test, he is awesome instructor.

Negative experience: I have not been to this driving school, but there was a grey Honda Ridgeline truck, license plate completely covered by snow, and this advertisement magnet on the back. It was quite possibly the craziest driver I've ever had the pleasure of driving beside. The lanes were clearly visible and the driver was not paying attention, on his phone, as well as turned into my lane during a dual lane turn. I would not want to take driving school from this driver. I know the roads aren't great, but the snow has melted at least for today... please be more careful driving! I had my nephews in the car and you almost obliviously side swept me multiple times. Your phone can wait.

Fantastic experience: I was doing my Canadian driving license, as an immigrant, and Ismail's driving lessons did a huge difference to pass the advanced driving exam! I already had 14 years of driving experience in Portugal but there are way too many nuances not only in terms of road rules but even of behaviours and interaction with other drivers and pedestrians. Apparently obvious things like understanding speed limits or priorities are not that obvious when you have accumulated many years of experience adapting to the daily driving tricks. Moreover, Ismail was honest about how many lessons to do, advised on where and when to do the exam and adapted to my (quite tight) schedule. I am grateful and definitely recommend this driving school in Calgary.

Fantastic experience: I reached out to see if they could rent me a bike outside of Calgary for my road test. I was texting back and forth with Tina and she literally replied every time, no matter the day or time. I was seriously blown away. She coordinated a bike to be delivered to Airdrie. I met with Abdi who walked me through the bike and gave me some tips. I would 100% recommend these guys. 10 stars.

Fantastic experience: Took the ride for life motorcycle course here. They take a "walk before you run" approach, and really build into how to ride properly. I felt confident afterwards to take my road test and passed, with no prior motorcycle riding experience.

Fantastic experience: This driving school was very helpful for me. Ismail is a great instructor, who not only prepares you so well for the road test but also prepares you very well for driving in general. His instructions are always very clear and he makes you good practice behind the wheel. Today when i am driving on the road, his instructions are always in my mind, making me a safe and observant driver on the road. Fantastic experience: As I was so new to motorcycle, I was interested to register for motorcycle driving school. I was searching around for a good motorcycle driving school but not sure which one to choose from as there are so many places teaching motorcycle in Calgary. I read the reviews and chose to go with Motology Driving School. I paid quite high as compared to other places in the hope to have good lessons. I was successfully completed the classes but got some weakness that instructors recommended to practice some more before going for road test. The instructor said she will contact me shortly. I was waiting and waiting and I wrote the emails to Motology and expressed to take new lessons to practice for my road test. Nobody replied since then. After waiting for two months, I got stuck and had to find another place to offer private or road test prep course. I got a few replies including the one from Quality Driving school. Quality Driving school replied promptly and managed to arrange road test prep course for me before my road test in two weeks. It was not easy to have this offering in the summer. The instructor was so nice and gave me a lot of tips for my road test. Unfortunately, I was failing my first road test as I stalled the motorcycle many times. I called Tina at Quality Driving school office and expressed to have another private road test prep course to improve my weakness. She replied promptly and arranged me to have another session with another instructor and gave me a special discount for the session and the motorcycle rental for road test. If you had the bike, the instructor could come to pick you up at your house if you wanted to practice with your own bike. I did not know there was such an option. Like previous instructor, this instructor was very nice and kind and taught me a lot of tips to avoid stalling my bike. I learned quickly and able to manage my clutch very well. Unfortunately, I failed my second road test again as I was so nervous and stalled my bike again. I quickly booked for another road test at the registry and managed to pass it for the third time as I managed to stay calm during my road test. I wished I could have started with Quality Driving school so I did not have to waste a lot of my summer time waiting for responses from Motology. I would strongly recommend anyone to start learning motorcycle with Quality Driving school.

Fantastic experience: Did my advanced gdl refresher with Richard and totally aced my exam the next week. Richard was a great communicator and thorough in his lesson. This course is totally worth the money :)

Fantastic experience: Hadn't driven in 25 years, took the Live to Ride motorcycle course, and was able to successfully complete the road test for class 6 license a few weeks later. This course content and process is very complete, and provides the basic operating and safety skills needed to get started riding. Darren is very professional and knowledgeable, and the emphasis is always on safety at all times. More than worth the cost, and having free use of their motorcycle for the road test is an incredible value-added bonus that no other school offers. Would recommend to anyone looking to get into riding, regardless of their current experience level.

Fantastic experience: I had both my daughters do the GDL driving course with Quality over the last couple of years. The instructors were still great. We had Susan last year and 3 different guys this year. Ismail, Aman, Henry. And Tina who runs a tight ship is fantastic. Both girls passed the road tests on the first try. Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: Had a 2 hour in-vehicle practice course and mock test for my Class 5 GDL. Ismaïl picked me up on time, was very friendly and professional and knowledgable, gave me clear directions, had me practice in the same area where I was gonna be tested. He also offered me to rent the car i practiced on for my road test which was helpful, and the car was clean and new. I passed my road test same day. Would definitely recommend the service and Ismaïl specifically for test areas he is familiar with.

Fantastic experience: I took the live 2 ride course September 12-13, 2020. Less than a month later I passed my road test. If it wasn't for Quality Driving & Motorcycle School, I believe I wouldn't have been ready to take test. With their expertise and willingness to share their knowledge, I passed. Fantastic experience: My son registered for the driving course. His instructor was Richard Kovacs. He has learned so much in such a short amount of time! Richard has built up my sons confidence in driving. It was such a great experience. I highly reccommend Richard as your instructor. And thanks to Tina for answering all my questions and scheduling.

Fantastic experience: If you need driving skills this should be your first choice. With Tina doing an outstanding job at handling scheduling and customizing your training you will feel pampered from the first interaction, then the trainers are all top notch, in my case Ismael provided assertive guidance with a calm and relaxed communication style, I can honestly say he helped me gain the skills and knowledge needed to pass my class 6 road test.

Fantastic experience: Took the Motorcycle (Live to Ride) course on June 27-28, 2020 and really enjoyed it. I’ve never ridden a bike before but Michael and Sam were really patient and excellent instructors with decades of on- and off-track experience each. I loved that they jump you on a motorcycle right away and do tons of low speed exercises in dt parking lot before taking you on a group ride around the city thru downtown, MacLeod Trail, Glenmore Trail and back to dt. I really appreciated one-on-one feedback throughout the exercises, knowledge test pointers, and do’s and dont’s for Class 6 road test including point scoring, even thou there were 6 guys and 2 gals in our course and we were all pretty COVID-19 conscientious. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn how to ride safely and pass the road test.

Fantastic experience: I took the motorcycle training course this weekend. My son took it last weekend. It is a professionally run school with with very experienced and knowledgeable instructors. Our instructors Darren and Sammy were patient, constructive, professional and very supportive. They injected lots of humour and made what could have been a very stressful experience very enjoyable and fun. I highly recommend this school for anyone wanting to learn how to ride a motorcycle.

Fantastic experience: Had the best weekend doing the motorcycle training! Learned a ton and now have the confidence to go get my license. They even called and offered a free 2 hour road ride on the Monday to get even more training in! Price is also super fair compared to other classes I’ve seen! Michael and Sammy were my great instructors!

Fantastic experience: Ismail is a really good instructor, he helped me prepare for the advanced class 5 road test. He's got a keen eye and gives lots of pointers, which is awesome. Tina was also helpful arranging the appointments, I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had such an amazing experience both times. I had Ismail and Don as instructors. I had really terrible anxiety when it comes to driving so I had to take the course twice a couple years apart as I was not feeling confident enough to take my road test. Second time around I had Don and he was amazing! He was super patient, very encouraging and had little abbreviations for things to remember. After that I took 2 refresher course with Don which were informative and fun as always. All in all I had an awesome experience with quality driving!

Fantastic experience: Darren and Tina ran a motorcycle course for only two us at the end of the year which I am very grateful for. The level of instruction was fantastic and the amount of road time you get is incredibly valuable. Skills are built in the parking lot then put into action in live environments on the road (school zones, residential roads, hill starts, traffic circles, controlled and uncontrolled intersections, low speed and high speed roads, etc) It was continuous learning on the road and, in my opinion, the amount of road time they provide is absolutely critical in getting you prepped for the class 6 road test. When it came to road test day, Tina went out of her way to meet before the road test so you get time on the test bike, some last minute tips and corrections, and support. I passed on my first try thanks to the "quality" of instruction and skills learned at Quality Driving School. If you are thinking of getting a motorcycle licence, this school is THE BEST for getting you prepped. Thanks Darren and Tina!

Fantastic experience: The Ride to Live 2-day course is very well done. Darren is an excellent instructor - super knowledgeable and engaging. I finished the course feeling fairly confident on a bike after only two days of riding and I was then able to pass my class 6 road test on the first attempt with a perfect score. Another benefit that I hadn't considered before was having the opportunity to try out different styles of bikes. After the course I had a much better idea of the kind of bike I want and if I hadn't taken this course and discussed with the instructors it's likely I would have ended up buying the wrong bike. Well worth the money, thanks very much.

Positive experience: My review for the motorcycle course. Theory class was great and straight forward. The parking lot train was great, but the only reason I would give 3 stars is because of Darren’s attitude towards everyone, Good instructor but impatience with students when they are not able to learn things right away. Tammy in the other hand was great and patience. Another reason I give it 3 start is because their website promise me at least 2 hour of training on road, but because I was not able to brake fast enough or even use clutch efficiently in the parking lot training, they told me that I won’t be able to get on road training. I understand it’s for my own safety but I paid a lot of money so I would at least expect so more parking lot training then ride on the road. Also two things that I was suppose to be given were a certification saying that I completed the course (which helps reduce insurance cost) but again didn’t get because of lack of patiences from instructor. And also a coupon or something to rent a bike for a road test (reason unknown).

Fantastic experience: I really had a good time learning again to ride a motorcycle after several years from a school whose staff are willing to offer time and compassion when helping or teaching stubborn students like me.....Million thanks to Staffing particularly to Tina who is always helpful, very approachable and kind; Michael as my hands on instructor is very understandable and considerate especially when I made mistakes during our parking lot training on motorcycle; Darren as my in-class instructor is considered jolly person at times and yet serious when pointing out motorcycle stuff; last but not the least, Ismail is awesome guy who shows compassion and passion with his work, he is the kind of person who has lots of patience and encouragement and put confidence to students like me..... Ismail helped me a lot and spent tremendous time in teaching the proper motorcycle skill just to see me more confident and safe while on the road. Can't find words to thank him and all of you. Fantastic experience: I recently took the motorcycle Live to Ride course with Darren and Sammy and I cannot say enough about how great these two were. The course was set up to teach new riders the most important details around motorcycle riding with a focus on safety. Super fun and I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to learn how to ride or to improve their skills.

Fantastic experience: I had a great time with Darren and Sammy in the Live to Ride bike course. They pack a ton of information into those 2 riding days! Darren is a well traveled rider who has ridden a motorcycle all over the world. He has a great knack for being able to include his worldly experience in a way that not just makes you a better rider but better road user regardless. Sammy comes with years of racing and track experience! He has immense knowledge of performance riding and uses that to bring best practices on the street. The course was very professional with a key focus on safety. It was very fast paced learning environment with every lesson building off the skills in the previous. Dont be afraid to speak up if you dont feel you have gotten something down pact either. While the course is fast paced and they are always pushing onto the next thing they have no problems doing some 1 on 1 work with you to make sure you understand what they are teaching. I went from almost 0 motorcycle experience to feeling confident in traffic on our group ride arround the city on the second day. Huge thanks to Darren and Sammy for being fantastic instructors.

Positive experience: Met the most accomodating and understanding receptionist ever, Tina, then had the most horrendous in vehicle training with Susan. So insensitive, impatient, intolerant, inconsiderate , overtly hasty and assuming..even after I told her I hadn't driven anything my entire life.. On one occassion, I asked her to give me tips on how to drive straight and she said she couldn't teach me that....She literally said it was frustrating having to teach me. An instructor? She needs to be delicensed or whatever it is they do to such calibre of instructors. Anyways, Henry took over and I gained my confidence back. Would recommend Quality but Susan is a MASSIVE NO. She gives the school a bad name.

Fantastic experience: I never went here but have driven behind the motorcycle driving group and was very impressed with how professional it was. Everyone was wearing hivis and the instructor was patiently helping everyone. I am glad to know someone is teaching drivers in a safe and responsible manner.

Negative experience: Didn’t attend your school but just drove behind one of your students/teacher. What are you teaching these kids? To drive 10kmh under the speed limit is not safe driving. It just promotes frustration with others around which could lead to road rage. Also, when someone tries to pass because of your slow speed, don’t tell the kid to switch lanes and block that car. It happened twice to me and both times the kid pulled into the “passing lane” when he/she could have stayed in the right lane.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic people with very experienced trainers. Had a refresher course with Ismail before my advanced road test and he pointed out some bad habits, as well as what things they would be looking for in the advanced road test. I am so happy I took the refresher, I have definitely forgotten some rules since I was 16! Highly highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: Don from Quality driving school was my instructor, he is immensely experienced with all the basic and advanced things one is required to do while driving a car. He is very patient and explains each action every time you ask him. He puts some real life analogies to make you understand the actions you are performing while driving. He is someone who prioritizes "safety first" than being sorry. He has an eye for details and he will ensure you correct all your minor errors . He is the best instructor I had an opportunity to learn from. Also, Quality driving school has a great customer service. Tina at Quality driving school provides excellent customer service. Fantastic experience: Great, Fun-tasic, Amazing, Innovative School for driving or riding motorcycle. Tina is very friendly who works in the office. And Darren was a kind of a hot headed but awesome instructor. He'll teach most of the efficient skills to get your class 6 license and also his assistant Sammy! Lastly, Ismael was a huge help for me; he stayed calm and taught me a lot on the road. Great advices and motivation he gave me for a "free of charge"!! Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing! The level of customer service everyone holds themselves at is unbelievably high. They call you to follow up, confirm course times, and to just check in on you during the entire process. You can tell that they really care about you and want you to excel. Fantastic experience: I went here to gain knowledge and confidence to pass the class 5 drivers test, which I previously failed. I had Henry for the in class and 3 in car sessions who I would say is a wonderful person. He has a great sense of humour which helps you remember the lessons he is teaching you, he also is calm which helps you feel comfortable in the car. He is their senior driving instructor and has been doing it the longest. I then had 2 in-car lessons with Adam who was also nothing short of an amazing driving instructor, he had great tips and advice to help me become a great driver. I really enjoyed my experience with these instructors and I would recommend them both. They also made me feel like they truly cared, they wanted to know my outcome afterwards taking my road test. Which I passed! :) I also have to say that the secretary of the company was also really great, professional and kind. They are very accommodating and care about their students, their goal is to help you as much as possible. Also added bonus the prices are extremely fair.

Fantastic experience: amazing experience I did alot of lessons probably 20 hours and my teachers were amazing. I had Adam and Ishmal and they were awesome couldn't of asked for better instructors i am so proud I passed my road test i definitely recommend them

Fantastic experience: Very good school! Ismael was my instructor for road lessons. He gave me very technical and safety driven instruction. Took the time to explain situations that I had problems with and help me work on them prior to the road test. I ended up passing on my first try with very few penalty points. The courses are also competitively priced.

Fantastic experience: always professional, experienced trainers. I originally did GDL 5 here in '11 was awesome then. yesterday paid for a brush up and thank heavens I did. I would not have passed if I had not!! thank you George! he's very strict but bet your ass he's good I'd say their prices are good, haven't compared myself honestly ... thank you guys!!

Fantastic experience: I took drivers ed here and my in car instructor is named Ismail, he's a very kind and welcoming person like there aren't enough words to describe how much he's helped me learn and get comfortable with the road in a calm fashion. I wouldnt have passed my road test without his help!!

Negative experience: Not the best place to learn driving or build your confidence. Some of the instructors have a bad attitude and they assume that you know everything. For instance, I was given attitude by one the instructors when he asked me to park. It was my first time, I didn't know how to do it and was never coached on how to do it. I pay a lot of money to be thought and not to be given attitude. I've also found out that one of the instructors is the owner of the company (no conflict of interest here). I've learned more in 1 lesson with my sister than the 5 lessons i had with him at 120 per session. No defensive driving course ever suggested or mentioned. At this point, I will complete my training elsewhere and will not be referring these guys to anyone. Don't do like me, take the time to call other places and see your options before wasting your time and money here.

Fantastic experience: So I'm about 5 months too late but I have to say my experience was life changing!!! I have horrible anxiety and if that's what you have this is the school for you, and I strongly recommend Linda , she's so patient and will make you realize you have nothing to fear , I broke down in tears and I'm pretty sure no one else could that've helped me though it , this school is amazing!!

Fantastic experience: Great school. It was the only one school where I was able to get one lesson without full course study. They provide gear also. There is no guarantee that you will find your size or it will be available, but I got fairly suitable gloves, jacket, helmet. instructors are nice and professional. Willing to help.

Fantastic experience: I am so happy I chose Quality Driving School. I did the online course which was well done. But most of all, the in-car was great. I was terrified before-had never tried driving. David was the best instructor!! He made me feel so relaxed and confident and taught me everything so kindly. I cannot say enough how much I would recommend them. I used their vehicle for my road test at Southland and passed first try!

Negative experience: Distract driving. While approaching 14 street coming from woodpark boulevard signal on Anderson, I was trying to change the lane but the driver (not the student) kept speeding not letting me change lane even though I have the signal long enough, he honked me as well. The driver did not slow down even knowing that we were very close to the traffic signal. The irony is that they train others for courtesy driving but don't follow it themselves.

Fantastic experience: Excellent school for learning. Had great team help me brush up my motorcycle skills and get used to city riding. Learnt a lot of important facts that I wasn't aware of coming over from the uk. Instructors go out there way to make course days and lessons fit your needs. Big thumbs up!

Adam was a really patient and encouraging teacher. He took the time to answer all of my questions, was really clear in his explanations and managed to calm all my worries down.
