As a newcomer to Canada, I had never driven a car before in my country. My teacher was Mr.Kardani (Amin) in all my classes. His experience and patient gave me peace of mind and confidence when driving. I highly recommend Sierra Driving School. Amazing team!

From the office staff to the dedicated instructors, their professionalism and genuine care have truly left a lasting impression on me. In just one and a half short months, my son not only learned how to drive safely, but also learned how to navigate the complex rules of the road. Mr. Kardani, the instructor, excels in his dedication. He didn't just teach him how to drive, he helped him to feel confident on the road. Speaking of which, I was perfectly prepared to be understanding if my son didn't pass the first test, given how nerve-wracking exams can be. It's not fair to put the whole pass-or-fail burden on driving schools as student nervousness at the time of test is a big factor no matter how well they drive. But my 16-year-old nailed it and got his license on the first try! My heartfelt thanks go out to the caring and wonderful lady on the phone and the dedicated instructor who made this experience truly exceptional. They didn't just do their job, they did it with unwavering care, turning what could have been a stressful journey into an incredibly positive and unforgettable one.

When I called to register my son they said that they don’t have any availability ,but Ali told me she will do her best to squeeze him in , next thing I know she called me back and gave me the fantastic news that he can join with possibly of doing the exam with their car since my car had cracked windchill. Fantastic experience: My daughter just passed her driver's test on the first try after having lessons through Sierra Driving School! She very much enjoyed having the female instructor, Naz, and would come home commenting on how much she appreciated her demeanor and how she taught her. Communicating with them was also a smooth experience and they accomodated us well if we had to cancel a scheduled lesson. The only negative was that a male instructor showed up for the first lessons after we had specifically asked for a female. They did apologize for this and made sure to have their female instructor come all the times afterwards. This was my daughter's preference and I am thankful that they accomodated our request. I was nervous to teach her on my own, so I am very grateful for her good experience here, and how the lessons proved to be fruitful in the end with a passed test!

Fantastic experience: From the moment I made contact with Sierra Driving School, I felt welcomed. Very pleasant. Any questions or concerns were answered. Naz in the office was very accommodating with requests for driving. I have twins, so Naz tried to get both of them scheduled on the same day, usually one after the other. If something did not work out, she happily made changes. Mr. Kardani (Amin) was the instructor, he was awesome!! He was always punctual, happy and very patient. My kids looked forward to their lessons. Both now have more confidence in their driving. I highly recommend Sierra Driving School!!

Fantastic experience: They taught me so much and it helped me get a better understanding of driving in all of the areas from parking to lane changing to pretty much every aspect, they made my life easier and it made my road test a lot easier.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had the most amazing experience with Sierra Driving School this summer. I had been driving 18 months, but just wanted to get some lessons to know what to officially do in certain situations. They where super flexible with their timelines, due to my schedule. After a few lessons I took my test, and only received a few demerit points due to some nervousness. Also due to their insurance reduction programme, insuring me after my licence change was pleasantly inexpensive.

Fantastic experience: I had the absolute best experience with Sierra Driving for my drivers ed training! Amin Kardani my instructor prepared me for my drivers exam and beyond that! We worked on my confidence driving since I was in a motor vehicle accident at a young age, and it made all the difference when doing some downtown driving in Calgary and trying the free ways and high ways off of Airdrie together! He drilled in every lesson in a very consistent and calm way! He taught me how to think as a driver which helped ease my nerves in the car and allow me to make good judgements on the road! Naz was a phenomenal coordinator and reception and always was available to answer my questions! From price checks to questions about my exam and the vehicle, she was always there with such amazing courtesy! I was in the best hands and now not only passed my exam on the first try, but completed all portions of the on road training and online training which gives me a reduction on my insurance even as a new driver! This was all around the best start to my driving career and I highly recommend them for drivers education. Such a premium experience between both Calgary and Airdrie driving, and I am so fortunate for their help!

Even to the day that our daughter took her lesson, Sierra Driving School showed up with the lesson car for her to use for her test, and greeted her with a giant smile after she passed. Fantastic experience: After a lengthy process that lasted two years, filled with covid, stress and just life, Mr. Kardani never lost his confidence in me and believed that I would be able to succeed at my driving test, which I was cared of taking. Which is exactly what happened thanks to his impeccable teaching; I passed!!! I Everyone at Sierra Driving School is amazing, they listened to my concerns and made sure to reassure me and try to accommodate for me to the best of their abilities. If I had to do this all over again, I would pick them without hesitation!

Negative experience: I taught my daughter to drive but wanted lessons because I wanted to be sure she know everything she needed to pass the test. The first odd encounter was an email saying "please let me know how you took the course in February when it wasn't supposed to be until March". I replied that she hadn't taken the course yet and they apologized, saying they had us mixed up with someone else. Not a big deal. My next surprise was that they only offer lessons during school hours. I did not want her missing 10 hours of school, so after a couple tries they scheduled the lessons into her spares. So... Still okay. My daughter said she enjoyed the lessons, but when she took the test, she passed everything I had taught her and failed everything I was hoping the instructor would teach her. The instructor kept saying "your instructor told you that, right?" And she'd say no every time. This girl's grades are all above 90% so if she says she wasn't taught something, I believe her. Then twice more I got an email asking how we were able to take the course in January. (We took it in March). After she got her license I asked for the certificate for insurance and they said they would send an online copy and then send the official one later. Now its June and still no certificate. Interesting note: My other child took the test with only what I taught them and they got the exact same score as the child who took lessons here.

They were very kind, calm and professional and very helpful and accommodating. Both of them passed their driving tests the first time! I would recommend this company for sure and would use them again in the future if I need a driving instructor!

Fantastic experience: Having just finished my final session of driving instruction with Mr. Kardani, there aren't enough good words to say! Setting up lessons was easy and they went above and beyond to work around my schedule. Starting me lessons in the fall, we covered everything from safe practices, parallel parking, driving in adverse conditions and more. They also recognized as a new driver that my winter-driving experience would be limited and let me schedule my final lessons later on to get that much-needed experience. The online portion is comprehensive, even if about as exciting as you could expect it to be. Behind the wheel, Mr. Kardani was professional, polite, informative and generally just a delight to learn from. He gave advice and pointers on what to work on while driving solo, and plenty of great tips and information that I won't soon forget. Overall everything was above and beyond my expectations, and I can't recommend them enough for any new, or anxious drivers looking to improve their skills. My ONLY complaint, is that it seems alot of drivers haven't taken any courses from here, and it shows! Seriously, book some lessons if you are rusty or newer to driving! It will save you in the long run!

Fantastic experience: I am beyond happy and impressed with Sierra Driving School. From start to finish I highly recommend them. The office people are wonderful and highly accomodating. They care beyond the money! Unfortunately, My first exam I failed likely due to nerves. The office was quick to get me in for my remaining lessons. My instructor got 27 year old me who was never behind a wheel before.. DRIVING! And by driving I mean I've been on Deerfoot multiple time and confident. I'm going for my license again on Saturday after having a brush up session with him and im confident this time ill pass. Thank you for caring beyond just the money.

Fantastic experience: Ms, Vermahoudi was excellent in teaching me how to drive properly. Couldn’t have passed the test without her. I was never bored when driving with her, she always kept the conversation going and her instructions were very clear. 10/10 would recommend.

Negative experience: Very difficult to get in touch with. Terrible response time to arrange appointments. Last minute scheduling expectations. Did not meet prearranged deadline to prepare for driving test. Did not respond to repeated request to rectify this. This was the case with both our student drivers. Absolutely terrible!

Fantastic experience: My son took the course and felt that the instructors were very thorough and provided clear instructions. They were very polite and very respectful during this pandemic. In addition to the drivers that taught my son, the staff at the office were very very helpful; they were very patient with me, they were very polite and answered all the questions I had. I would 100% recommend Sierra driving school to anybody. My son took his road test and passed with flying colors. Fantastic experience: As a 35 year old new driver, I was extremely nervous. The class room teacher was so helpful and informative. My on road instructor was absolutely amazing. He built-up my confidence and self esteem. He taught me everything I need to know to be a safe and confident driver. The people that work in the office were extremely accommodating, excellent customer service.Always returned phone calls and emails within the same hour. I highly recommend this driving school!!!

Fantastic experience: A big shout out to Sierra driving school. I want to personally thank Amin the instructor for going out of his way to help me get my license, he is very patient and full of knowledge. They pick you up at your house and drop you off and that was huge for me as I didn't have a license. LONG STORY SHORT if you want training to get your license you do NOT need to go anywhere else than Sierra driving school. Best school in the area. I rate them 11/10.

Fantastic experience: Sierra Driving school, and specifically Ms, Vermahoudi were all excellent! The in car driving was phenomenal, and i was taught many things i would not have known for the test! They very well prepare you to pass! Ms, vermahoudi was fun to be around, easy to talk to and communication was always happening, and teaching. 10/10 Recommend!

Fantastic experience: Quite possibly the most in-depth, comprehensive learning experience I've ever had. I thought I was a decent driver to start with, but I learned techniques and skills that I didn't know that are very important! Amin is a very thoughtful, patient and professional instructor. I thought it was perfect that he would come pick me up and drop me off for the driving lessons, and he was always on schedule. Negative experience: Instructor didn’t show for lesson, owner told us they called and left message which was a lie. Then promised to re schedule which never did. We had to chase them for replacement lesson and certificate. This is just a rip off by all counts since the start.

Fantastic experience: This School is Great! Not only did they do an excellent job of Teaching both of our Kids how to Drive but they Both had the Skills Necessary to pass the exam. The Driving instructor went out of his way to help us out by Picking up and dropping off the students at different locations and times. With both of us being shift workers this really helped us out.

He is a very knowledgeable and patient instructor - the result being that Ethan was able to pass his Class 5 drivers test in Calgary on his first try. Fantastic experience: I passed my class 5 basic road test in the first attempt and the entire credit for it goes to Mr. Amin from Sierra driving school, who happened to be my trainer & instructor. Also would I appreciate the coordination from back office as I never had to walk in to their office, everything was taken care on phone call and texts. The response was always quick. Also did they scheduled my classes as per road test date. So, whoever is looking to get their driver's license, Sierra driving school is the place to prepare for it.

Fantastic experience: I really appreciate and thankful to Mr. Ameen for teaching me how to drive safely and with confidence. I really like his way of teaching because he wrote notes and explained things thoroughly.

Negative experience: Was charges $609 on my master card and my son only received 4 hours of actual driver training. Lost 6 hours of instruction. Scheduled three slots all got cancelled. Instructors are excellent the booking admin is not. Sad when you have to contact the Better Business Bureau.

Fantastic experience: Great, friendly and very helpful instructor. They helped me a lot to pass my test.
