Negative experience: This is the WORST driving school I’ve ever dealt with. The lady is completely unprofessional and rude. I paid for two lessons and used their car for my road test, but their car broke down during the test! Because of their negligence, the examiner canceled my test after just 10 minutes. The lady promised to give me a free car for my next road test, but when I called her later, she outright refused and treated me with unbelievable rudeness. I begged her to refund my $115, but she refused and showed no accountability. Her behavior was disgusting and unacceptable. I used their services 8-9 months ago, and even now, whenever I see their car on the road, it brings back all the bad memories of my horrible experience. Do NOT waste your money on this place. They will scam you, disrespect you, and leave you feeling humiliated. I am convinced all their good reviews are fake. Avoid this driving school at all costs!

Negative experience: I wish I could say zero stars. Not a great experience from the start. Unprofessional scheduling, rude and unorganized. Lost my information and wanted to charge us again for lessons that we had already paid for. Didn’t show up to a scheduled lesson and did not get back to us for days afterward. Too many students to keep track of I was told. Instructors for the lessons were great and helpful for the teaching process but the business side of things is a joke.

I had such a great experience and I want to thank them for making it easy to pass my road test at the second try. I came to them after I failed my first road test after I had a bad experience where a driving instructor made me lose confidence in my driving ability. Loretta is the kind and warm person behind the phone who also gives great advice and goes the extra mile to ensure you find a class that fits your schedule. My instructor, Myrrh was THE BEST. She was very supportive, patient in explaining all the different conditions to pass, she also shared a lot of handy tricks. I never felt uncomfortable or nervous because she highlighted my strengths and let me know the areas I needed to improve. I would recommend them over and over again!

Fantastic experience: We booked with Dallas driving school for our daughter’s road test in Merritt. They came down took her out for a warm-up drive and then the road test. She was so nervous as she had never driven in Merritt before and was stressed about the test. Jason was amazing her got her calm and focused and she passed her road test. I totally believe she may not have passed if it wasn’t for Jason. I highly recommend Dallas driving school for all your driving needs and recommend Jason as your instructor. Negative experience: Absolutely appalled from our very first experience today. My son came back absolutely discuraged from driving. I tried to call the company and ask for the instructors name so that we could arrange another instructor next time( very politely) Well……..the owner ( Loretta) was absolutely horrific towards me! I tried to explain why I’d like a different instructor but she went off the wall on me before I could even explain anything to her. I had no anger towards the instructor at all, it just wasn’t a good fit for my son. Loretta is a complete hot head with ZERO people skills. Drive wise was an absolutely wonderful driving school but unfortunately the instructor retired. We will definitely not be going back to this company which is unfortunate because I’m sure they have some other wonderful instructors. Loretta was what ruined it all this evening.

Negative experience: STAY AWAY FROM THIS DRIVING SCHOOL!!! I called them to make an appointment for a warm up lesson and book a car for my class 5 road test. However, the conversation over the phone was very rushed and the information was not very clear. I had basic questions about the prices and Loren here had an attitude as if they’re being forced to do a favour for me. It’s simply disrespectful. This behaviour is unacceptable. Fantastic experience: I would like to leave a review about the Dallas driving school. Yesterday I passed the driving test and received a Class 7 driver's license. I have never had any driving experience before. I took 5 driving lessons at the school and passed the exam on the first try. My driving teacher Jason helped me prepare for the exam. He is the best specialist! Very tactful, explains and shows everything clearly. Sets you up for a positive attitude. With him, you will feel completely confident behind the wheel. I recommend everyone to take training at the Dallas driving school! And, of course, my highest recommendations to the driving teacher Jason! Safe roads to everyone!

I had the driving experience from back home but I chose Dallas driving school and after taking couple of lessons I passed the road test in my first attempt. Really they have very experienced instructors at their school.

Fantastic experience: I want to extend huge thank yous to Loretta and Jason! My car had an issue one day before the road test, so I needed to arrange a car in under 24 hours. Loretta was incredibly sweet, friendly, and professional—she arranged the car for me in just 5 minutes. I also requested a lesson to get familiar with the car, and she set that up quickly, just before my test. Jason was the instructor I got a lesson with, and he was super calm and fantastic. He told me everything I needed to know before the test without overwhelming me with too many changes, which really helped to avoid confusion and anxiety. I honestly wish I could have had more lessons with him. To anyone looking for lessons, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JASON!!

I didn't know my vehicle wasn't going to work for the test and was recommended to call this company. I told them my situation and they helped me out asap. Negative experience: Watched a really interesting driving technique while following one of Dallas Driving Schools's logoed vehicles: Come to a complete stop blocking the only open lane while an ambulance, with lights and sirens, drives up behind them. Apparently moving over and getting out of the way was too much. Other vehicles had to move to make room while this logoed vehicle sat there. There was a student driving with an instructor in the passenger seat. There is no excuse for doing what they did.

Negative experience: "I contacted Dallas driving school to book a car for a road test, and they assured me of a response by the afternoon. However, when I followed up at 8:30 PM, I found that they had mistakenly booked the wrong date. The response I received was unprofessional, with the representative saying, 'It's 9:00 o'clock. I am doing a favor for you to call at this time and book the test.' This left me surprised and disappointed. Ultimately, I was advised to find another driving school. I recommend others to explore alternative driving schools with more reliable and customer-friendly service.

Negative experience: VERY RUDE. Even one star is too much. I called and after 15 seconds they started yelling and being unprofessional and disrespectful. Very judgmental and HIGHLY racist, and to top it all off, hung up in the middle of my sentence and did not answer the phone after. the said "School Teacher" did not know the basic principles of communicating with others. If this business survives with this kind of customer service it must be MIRACLE.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful experience! Just used the vehicle and warm-up lesson for my class 5. Harold was very helpful in making me feel at ease before my class 5 test. Also gave me amazing tips to improve my driving and confidence in my abilities. Vehicle was also very easy to drive.

Fantastic experience: After paying thousands of dollars with another driving school, and my son failing his roadtest for his class 7, 4 times. We got him a roadtest on short notice, due to a cancellation. I emailed Dallas Driving school and Loretta and Harold were very accommodating. I booked him a 1.5hr lesson, and Harold helped him, and did a mock test which he learned a lot from. Loretta met him with a vehicle at the ICBC centre, and he passed. I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend and wish I booked sooner. Will definitely be booking my daughter in a few years!!

Negative experience: Very unprofessional, racist and rude. Loretta always use word you all Indian students. I asked about services they are providing in package and she started yelling. She started saying I am talking with 6 clients and she needs to understand her job. They don’t deserve half star.

Positive experience: Overall pretty accommodating. However not always the most clear communication with thee booking lady. Was pretty shocked a few times with responses while texting regarding mix ups of scheduling. Dallas the instructor is absolutely AMAZING. ** Was blind sided on test day as I was using there vehicle they did all 10 of my lessons in the electric car and then randomly on test day showed up with another vehicle I had never drove before. I passed thank goodness, but beware of that happening if your planning on using there vehicle for your test.

Fantastic experience: 100 percent recommend Harold and Loretta! They took me and my Boy under their wing. Broke my Boy of all the probably not so good habits he picked up from me during his year of learning to drive with me. They listened to my worries, and gave my Boy the confidence to go in and rock his toad test for his N. Cannot honestly say enough good things about their professionalism and knowledge and kindness. The first time we booked a car to use for a road test but they did not show up with the car at ICBC and when I called Loretta said that we did not book a car. When in fact we did and confirmed the date and time and location! Second time calling to request a car for the road test. Not knowing it was her personal phone we called on a Sunday and her response was that we can't just call her at anytime! Just wanted to leave a message since our weekday schedule are busy

I've been driving for over 10 years. - The woman over the phone was extremely rude; she decided to lecture me saying I actually do not know how to drive. I decided to wish her a good day and hang up. Found myself another driving school.

Negative experience: Had the worst experience of my life taking lessons from such stupid people. They just taught me some silly things just to make up for the time I paid for and It didn’t helped me at all. Also very rude and unprofessional people, have no sense of how to welcome, talk and treat their clients. A complete waste of time and money.

Negative experience: Had a horrible lesson on a field. The lesson was supposed to be on the road and help me for my driving exam. Instructor took me to a field. Only on the final minutes of the lesson he started give me useful instructions. I had a complete amazing experience with another school.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely great! Very much recommend. Harold helped me become a much more confident driver, in not a lot of time at all. It was super easy to learn from him. Loretta was very kind in managing to somehow fit me into there busy schedule as well on super short notice, so that was great. They know how to drive safe and create a very comfortable atmosphere while learning, to make you feel more relaxed and calm.

Fantastic experience: I met Mr. Harold and Mrs. Loretta two months ago During these 2 months, I took several classes. Harold helped me a lot and I found a fundamental change in the type of driving and I was able to drive much easier. Harold does not waste time and you will use the maximum time during the class. Also, the paths he chooses to practice are like exam paths, and he, like the assessment officer, focuses seriously and precisely on your mistakes and tells you where you need to practice and change.

Negative experience: I wouldn't trust my kiddo with this company! We just pulled up to an intersection to get onto the highway and the instructor had the student in the left lane. Once we were on the highway we gave the student driver ample room and time to maneuver into the right lane since they were driving slower than the flow of traffic. The instructor failed to get the student to move out of the passing lane. Then, right at the exit the student needed to take they turned on the signal light. Traffic had jammed up by this point and everyone had to come to a grinding halt so the student could make their lane change. This entire debacle was mind boggling and put EVERYONE in the vicinity in danger! I was always taught by my driving instructor to stay in the right lane unless passing. I was also taught to plan my route and make lane changes early to avoid the very situation this student put us all in. I don't know why the DDS instructor didn't instruct the student on these defensive driving techniques and rules of the road, but if they fail to teach these concepts then what else is being missed??? Yikes!

Negative experience: I called staff to make enquiries and to potentially book for driving lessons. The manager was very rude and hostile when I inquired if they had special rates for students. I was discouraged to go ahead and register for lessons with them because of her harsh tone and impatience. I called Kami Driving School after calling Dallas, and asked similar questions; even though they also didn't have a student package, he was very polite and receptive. The attendant had excellent customer service skills. I ended up registering with Kami instead.

Negative experience: Waste of time and money. I booked a lesson for my daughter to drive with a ‘professional’ driver to help prepare for her upcoming class 5 driving test. Harold spent most of the lesson in a parking lot which did not help her prepare for her driving test at all. Furthermore, when I asked for an explanation for each of my concerns, I received NO response from Loretta which was extremely unprofessional. Update: My daughter easily passed her Class 5 driving test despite the useless lesson 4 days earlier provided by the Dallas Driving School.

Negative experience: almost got ran over on crosswalk (Lansdowne and 5th) good thing I saw her speeding down before I stepped out

Fantastic experience: We utilized Dallas Driving School for my son. He learnt so much and gained so much confidence in his driving. The instructor is patient and gives such great advise. I would highly recommend Dallas Driving School.
