Fantastic experience: The booking process was straightforward and they were flexible as there are a few different instructors. Kay was my driving instructor and I cant recommend her enough, previously I had failed my class 5 twice due to tiny mistakes. After driving with her for just over an hour she made me feel confident by correcting my mistakes in a respectful and calm manor. She herself has a great sence of humor and is very calm and reassuring.

I booked brush up lessons before giving final Class 5 road test, the instructor was patient and understanding. They were well on time, knowledgeable and patient. Kay was my instructor and within 2 sessions she understood my challenges and helped me work through it. I have recommended her to multiple friends of mine. Go for this school.

Fantastic experience: I had 1 brush-up lesson with Najia and then rented her car for the class 5 exam. With her advices I managed to pass the exam from the 1st attempt. Fantastic experience: I was so lucky to receive service from Frank driving school. I had 2 brush up drives before my test with Kay. All the advices that i received were helpful and allowed me to keep improving, preparing myself for dayX. I was picked up from my location without delays and dropped by after the training. The administration work was also done on a high level: on the phone call we checked affordability of instructors as well as a spot in the registry for the driving test. Negative experience: During my son's first lesson for his drivers class 5 licence course the instructor took 4 cigarette breaks in a 2 hour lesson. We switched instructors and the second one had my son running personal errands during the lesson and never even took him through a traffic circle and did not prepare him for the test running the same route over and over. We called management to discuss the fact that our son was not ready to take his exam based on the lessons he had received and never had the courtesy of a call back. This was a terrible experience all around.

Negative experience: Not a good school for class 1 MELT. Not equipped for a smooth career path. Trucks unable to start in winter and broke down during road test.

Negative experience: I paid 150$ for 2 hrs intensive brush up lesson and I had the worst experience. The instructor was terrible and didn’t do his job properly he sat by my side and explore the city for free. I don’t like the way he gives feedback when I do mistakes. He will hold in to that mistake and ask me why I did it for couple of minutes instead of teaching what is right and wrong. I don’t recommend them at all but just incase if you do so ask the difference between the regular brush lesson that costs $135 and road test brush that is $150 because I don’t see anything special about it it’s wasting your money. I will never go back to them

Fantastic experience: I took the 2 hour intensive training for road test (intensive refresher class) as an international student who already knew how to drive from back home, just needed to know about rules or things specific to alberta road law. My instructor was dexter and he was knowledgeable, specific on details to pass the test, and very friendly. That is exactly what I have been looking for. My only concern/complaint is that i did not understand the difference between booking the 2 hour intensive training for road test vs. the 2 hour training for road test, since they are both refresher classes that last 2 hours, but other than that, this has been a great experience, and i am even referring 2 of my friends here! Note: I took the road test the day after my refresher and passed! The test was exactly how dexter told me it would be and even around the same area where i drove with dexter.

Negative experience: Dude driving decided he wanted to make his own lane on st george coming out of the zoo/spark it was all blocked off for one lane GREAT DRIVING JOB bud also did 80 on deerfoot for no reason think twice about taking lessons

Positive experience: I took lessons with Warren and Meng last year. Warren's car was really dirty and he wasn't very professional. I switched to Meng after and she was super polite and provided great advice - would strongly recommend Meng as an instructor.

Fantastic experience: I took my class 1 here and all of the Staff are Friendly, specially to the to the owner Frank and my Instructor Inderpal Singh they are not choosing even if Im leaving in Fort McMurray.They Find a way for my Schedule every week ends. If Inder is not available Frank is there for you. I pass my inspection and road test ones. Just listen what the Instructor say "Focus","presence of mind" & "don't loose hope" and after that you will go home with a good news and a happy smile. Frank Driving School is a highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: This school was an excellent experience for me. I booked a two-hour intensive driving lesson on short notice, on the same day as my road test. Lucy was extremely responsive and helpful in finding an instructor to fit my schedule. In my road test preparations, it was Frank, along with Stewart, who coached me personally. As a result, I passed my road test on the first try, and I am sure that I would have failed if I had not practiced with Frank. In addition to practicing uphill and parallel parking, we also drove in residential areas in Beltline and downtown Calgary. I am not sure if it was intentional, but the route on the actual road test was almost identical. If you want to pass the road test on your first attempt, and if you need a good preparation before your road test, Frank Driving School should definitely be considered.

Fantastic experience: So I'm one of those people who didn't need a car or license until covid became a thing and car pooling and such wasn't as easy. I've been planning on lessons for a few years but never pulled the trigger until now. I signed up for 5x2 hour lessons and based on the reviews, I booked with Najia. WHAT A TREAT! She is such an amazing, kind and assertive instructor. She brings a wealth of knowledge and tricks and little things on how to remember rules of the road. I was able to book the car and a driving test at a registry and passed my Class 5 GDL on my first try! I highly recommend Frank's Driving School and recommended Najia even more! Fantastic experience: I did my MELT Class 1 here. I passed my air brake and class 1 road exam due to the great training here. Frank was personable, patient and suggested multiple methods of shifting gear -- everyone has a different style that works best for them. Frank was positive when pointing out areas I could improve upon for next sessions, and I gained confidence and learned from that teaching style. The practice yard was large enough for learning backup maneuvers safely. The route I would drive was not overwhelming with too much traffic. Great for anyone who has not driven standard truck before. I would recommend.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I emigrated from South Africa and therefore had to redo our drivers licenses. We chose Najia as our driving instructor. She is absolutely lovely and we highly recommend her. She is very patient, kind and goes far beyond what is expected of her in order to help her students pass their licenses. Even though I am an experienced driver I was very nervous to learn how to drive on the opposite side of the road etc but Najia made me feel extremely comfortable behind the wheel from the first day. Our experience with Frank's driving school was a positive and memorable experience from dealing with Lucy, who helped us book our lessons to Najia our driving instructor who assisted us in obtaining our drivers license.

Fantastic experience: On her first driving test, my daughter did not have a good experience with the driving examiner, the result was she failed and her confidence in her ability to pass the test was diminished. For her second test, she completed the two-hour intensive ‘Training for Road Test’ with Frank Driving School. First, the staff (especially Lucy?) were friendly, efficient and went out of their way to arrange a lesson for her. Secondly, Jim her instructor was outstanding, providing excellent, solid instruction and pointing out correct driving techniques (which her first driving school had not shown her) that ultimately allowed my daughter to re-take and pass her second test with a high degree of confidence. In retrospect, my daughter should have taken her first driving course with Frank Driving School. Given this experience I would recommend this driving school and Jim the driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: Pass the road test once in the morning! Frank' s teaching method is awesome. I studied driving skill with Frank for 10 hours before. he took me to practice many driving route of life (highway route, downtown route, etc., and he also took me to learn how to fuel the car at oil station by myself and how to look at Google map to drive and many essential driving skills of life. In this way, I master many driving skills of life by myself in the future. In addition, I also passed the written test (no. 7) by watching Frank's teaching video at one time, which was much easier and clearer than reading the book. He summarized knowledge points very well. In addition, Meng's safety class is Good and interesting. I also passed the written test of safety class once in her safety class. I am also very grateful to Lucy who has been very nice to communicate with me. According to my situation, she helped me arrange the schedule of car training, safety class, examination time and so on by her rich experience. Hope Frank’s driving school is getting better and better, happy New Year! 今天顺利一次通过路考！跟Frank学习了10小时的路练，Frank教的方法很好，我练习了许多生活中开车的路线(高速公路路线，downtown的路线等等，并且还带我学习了如何在加油站自己加油，如何看google 地图开车等等很多生活中必备的开车技能。这样不仅让我掌握以后自己开车的很多的生活技能。除此之外我的笔试7号牌也是看Frank的教学视频一次性通过的，比自己看书简单很多清晰很多，知识点总结的特别好。另外Meng老师的安全课很不错哟，也有很趣，我也一次性在Meng 老师的安全课上通过了安全课的笔试。也很感谢Lucy一直很nice的跟我沟通根据我的情况帮我安排了练车，安全课，考试时间等等。希望平安驾校越来越好，新年快乐！
