Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience during my time with Champion Driving school, I purchase the GDL PACKAGE (INSURANCE REDUCTION) FOR $720 + GST. Getting started was just a simple phone call, and email transfer. I had to due the online portion instead of the in-class, since having two toddlers at home. The online was very simple, and straightforward, and very knowledgeable. The in-car portion was nerve-wracking in the beginning but my driving instructors were very calm and collective, and they know how to make the driver feel grounded and confident. The one I drove with the most is Abdi, and he was very knowledgeable about the safety of the road and took the time to help me understand, the things I did not know. I took the road test with a car rental from Champion Driving school, and I passed on my first attempt. I would recommend Champion Driving school, to anybody who is willing to learn to drive, the instructors were very professional and were very welcoming.

Negative experience: Waste of Money!! I had a bad experience with my driving tutor, bibi. She seems nice at first but I found the driving unprofessional as most of your time was used up for her personal errands and tutor kept acting like she was doing you a Favour for lessons you paid for. In summary my hours were not utilized nor completed and this happened twice. It’s a rip off, I do not recommend this tutor. Better luck with other tutors.

Fantastic experience: I passed my road test from the 1st time after taking classes with Abdi. He is a great instructor with amazing sense of humor. I took also 1,5 hrs brush up lesson with Adam and he was great as well. Highly recommend both instructors.

He understood my needs perfectly and accommodated my preference for shorter, 1-hour lessons instead of the usual 2-hour ones. Positive experience: Some Instructors are better then others giving really good insight into road rules others don’t give feed back at all(I had to directly ask every little way I could improve and got given no better insight), I got canceled on 3 time, one where they let me know 5 minutes before my lesson then rescheduled for later that week, then cancelled again 30 minutes after my lesson was supposed to take place not giving a heads up(both times) leaving me one lesson short before my road test, almost every lesson they had to switch the time to earlier or later in the day. very unimpressed with scheduling and time management.

Fantastic experience: We are very happy with our experience with Champion Driving School. Excellent customer service and communication throughout the lessons. Scheduling was easy. The instructors helped our son build confidence behind the wheel and feel ready for his driver’s license exam. We used their car for the exam, which made things easier for our son on the day of his exam. Overall, we would highly recommend the team at Champion Driving School and their new driver program.

Fantastic experience: My son recently had the pleasure of completing his driving lessons with Abdi from Champion Driving School. We previously engeged with Abdi 2 years ago when our daughter needed lessons and the experience was just as good. Abdi is a professional and freindly instructor. He was patient, knowledgable and dedicated to ensuring that our son learned the necessary skills to pass his driving test on his first try but also becoming a confident driver on the road.

Fantastic experience: This school's Insurance reduction course is the cheapest/most affordable option in the NW. 15 hours in online lessons (typical online course) and 10 hours driving. The driving lessons were great. They pick you up from home and on time after scheduling online... I had my lessons with instructors: Abdi, Abshir, and (forgot her name) the Pakistani older lady. I would like to thank Abdi and especially Abshir. Abdi, was great, his lessons felt like driving around with a buddy and we had great conversations. Abshir was the best instructor I've had, he's so calm, nice, fun, considerate, clear, and informative. I would say that Champion Driving school's greatest asset is driving instructor Abshir.

Negative experience: They are very good.. at scamming people!!!! Double booking lessons for the day knowing very much that Road test cannot be rescheduled, so definitely cannot reschedule the refresher. So I only had 1 hour of lesson instead of 2 which I paid for! DO NOT RECOMMEND

Negative experience: This company- though others have stated otherwise- feels like a huge scam. My partner has been signed up since August of 2023 with one ONE lesson (a half lesson) done, through no fault of her own. Every week it’s been reasons why they can’t show up, or no shows, cancellations 30 mins before, etc. I’m completely fed up. We’ve contacted via email asking for a refund on 3 occasions now, initially they respond but when a refund is requested they go silent. I ended up calling and the gentleman made every excuse in the book and ultimately started blaming my partner, and REFUSING to refund me- saying “email again”, which we have and have been ignored. Terrible service. This is really gross, and unacceptable. Don’t go with this group, they may scam you too.. if I could give 0 stars I would.

Negative experience: I have never left a negative review on google cos i am very tolerant and easily overlook issues but Champions driving school went completely overboard in testing my patience! My first experience in Canada with been treated very unprofessionally and with little or no regard!. This driving school frustrated me and took my calmness and patience for granted. As far as I am concerned the money I paid was a complete waste because I didn't get value for it. ....They show up late, come up with excuses for why they can't make it, without informing you before hand so you can atleast plan accordingly, They didn't complete my in-car training, they didn't deliver my insurance reduction certificate. I truly regret paying for a driving course with this driving school bcos it was a waste of time and money for me. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Fantastic experience: Completed driving training at the Champion driving school. I arrived in Canada (Calgary) a month ago. My level of English is beginner. My instructor's name is Abshir. The instructor is a professional. The lesson was conducted competently and correctly. I passed the exam on the first try. I recommend this instructor to everyone. Thank you very much, Abshir!!! Thank you to the Champion driving school for such wonderful instructors.

Negative experience: Twice they simply did not show up- in fact we were told the car just broke down/ I would never recommend this company/ I would pay for any other service/ we were told 5 minutes before each service that they had a broken down car/ So not recommended We don’t even know if we will get a refund at this point/

Fantastic experience: My instructor was very kind. I started off being terrified of driving in traffic, and he taught me all the techniques in a way that I would understand. Now, driving is a breeze.

Negative experience: Extremely unprofessional company. The instructors were ok but I would suddenly have a substitute instructor without any notice. One of the substitute instructors took me through the Tim Hortons drive through twice during my lesson and was on the phone for a long time while giving me no instructions as to what to do other than ‘Just drive’. When I needed proof of the completed driving course in order to show my insurance company to qualify for the discounted insurance (8 months after finishing the course), champion driving school still did not have my certificate ready. I had to call them every day for a week straight to get any sort of answer as to when I was going to get proof of completing the course that I payed for. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Fantastic experience: This was a great experience for my son. The instructors made him feel safe and comfortable and gave him constructive feedback. They worked around schedule and having them pick up and drop off was so helpful for our family. I am very happy we chose Champion Driving School!

I had never driven before so I was incredibly anxious about learning. Abdi truly calmed me down and supported me through the entire process. Every lesson with him was well worth it- I passed my road test first try! He was also incredibly accommodating about scheduling dates as well as pick-up locations. Negative experience: Very Unreliable. I booked my 5 in-car lessons and the instructor rescheduled all of them except for 1. I had 1 more class that we rescheduled and I got text the day before saying that the instructor had quit and I needed to contact someone else to reschedule my final lesson.

Fantastic experience: I am 52yrs old and was worried a bit about the course. They were so very patient and excellent teachers!! They very much helped me to feel confident and drive aware and safely! Fantastic experience: Hi. I took a trial lesson in a driving school before taking a practical test for class 5. Instructor Abdi is a professional. I recommend it!

Negative experience: On an empty road, these find a way to teach parallel parking against your car. I am happy I was home and noticed it, as they were about to scratch my car. The teacher is also psychotic and can’t behave in public.

Positive experience: Champion driving school is one that I can recommend to anyone who wants to start driving,with a instructor like Adam with his patients and guidance,he thought me everything to pass my road test on the first try thank you Adam.

Negative experience: I did not learn how to drive with this school. I was never taken on any main roads, my first lesson, the instructor did most of the driving and made me do laps in a parking lot. I had 2 remaining lessons where my instructor no showed me. All I have to show for this is I can confidently drive circles in a parking lot and down $550.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic driving school. Adam was my sons instructor and he was great. They were so flexible with our schedule and we’re able to squeeze us in during the month of August that was already full. I am happy to say that my son passed his driver’s test on the first try. When the time comes for my daughter to have driving lessons we will definitely use Champion Driving School.

Negative experience: Service was not great. Booked appointments for weekly lessons online, only to have them cancelled by our assigned instructor who then provided his availability via text without going through the system. Instead of weekly lessons we signed up for - it took months for my son to complete his five lessons based on this instructors availability. Numerous follow ups were required about rescheduling to confirm new dates after cancellations, and for our confirmed completion documents at the end. This feedback was also provided to the owners without follow up after looking into it.

Fantastic experience: Adam was a fantastic driving instructor, I was really nervous to start driving, didn’t drive since I got my learners license. For my first lesson Adam brought me to a parking lot to help me get comfortable with the car and basic driving. Really helpful and great at answering any questions I had, he made me feel confident behind the wheel. Gave me lots of good tips on how to stay safe and whenever I got nervous about something he would talk me through it and kept me at ease. I really appreciated how he started out slow in a parking lot for my first lesson and progressed me at my own pace to where I was comfortable trying highway driving and driving downtown at the end of my lessons. Big thank you to Adam for being an awesome driving instructor!

Fantastic experience: Did my drivers training back in 2020 with Bibi Khan and due to the pandemic, was unable to get my drivers exam. now, in 2022 I was able to reconnect with Bibi for a couple of brush up sessions and was able to pass my drivers test first time! Thank you Bibi, I really enjoyed our sessions. Very relaxed, had fun and learnt a great deal. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Behzad was a great driving instructor. I also rented cars for my road tests (I passed the second time) from this school. Adam brought me the car on time, and gave me good advice for the test.

Fantastic experience: If you are someone with zero driving experience and looking for a good driving school to get training, I highly recommend Champion Driving School. Adam was my driving instructor there, and he is very professional. I had a fantastic driving experience with him and I was able to pass my road test all because of him. Getting driving was pretty stressful for me at the beginning, but Adam did a great job making me feel at ease. He is an instructor with exemplary patience, and he always helped me stay calm and stay confident while driving. The driving habits he taught me are precious and well beyond the test.

Negative experience: I did not find this place professional at all. Out of the 5 vehicle training, 3 was either no show or late, and the excuse is either he got COVID or being expose to it. We ended up waiting because they don't even call to let me know. Frustrated about the service, truly I don't recomend.

Negative experience: I'm not one to usually complain but what I witnessed today was brutal. Driving home I came up behind one of your cars obviously I know there was a new driver which is all good. What bothers me is that the driver instructor didn't make the person pull over and maybe calm the driver down. Going 25 in a 50 zone then to SPEED through a playground zone. Whoever the instructor was needs to maybe get more control of the driver or something before some gets hurt.

Negative experience: While the driving lessons were great, I’ve emailed 3 times, called and spoke to someone and it’s been over a month since I’ve asked for my certificate! It would lower my insurance almost $50 and it’s pretty unprofessional that they can’t even email me back! Update- have now spoken to four different people trying to get my certificate and am still being ignored. I just want my certificate!

Fantastic experience: Anyone that is looking for a professional, fun, and also positive experience learning to drive this is it. I’m 39 years young and decided it was time to gain some more freedom. My instructor Abdi was amazing. Made my confidence grow with every lesson. I managed to pass the first time and had the confidence to drive alone the first day after passing my test. If I could give ten stars I would. Worth every dollar and pricing was fair. Always on time no cancellations. Trust me you won’t have any regrets.

He made me do the same thing again and again until I was confident of myself which helped me majorly relax during my driving test. Fantastic experience: My instructors name was Abdi. After failing my road test for the third time in February, Abdi met my mom in the parking lot and offered me a class to help me pass the next time. After two classes with him, he reassured me and help me build my confidence. Thanks to him, I passed. I would definitely recommend him, he’s very kind and caring.

Fantastic experience: I just finished my driving lesson and I learned a lot from it. My driving instructor was vic and he shared a lot of tips with me on how to drive safe and park.

Positive experience: Amazing driving school helped me pass my test with ease. I had a guy named Vic for 95% of it. He was just amazing, super clear and helpful and always guided me through everything when he saw something was wrong. A very knowledgeable man. But there was this women who was super disrespectful, always on her phone and talking to people. I was basically her uber. Lucky for me it was only for my first lesson than Vic came along and made my experience great!

Fantastic experience: Very responsive, friendly, helpful

Negative experience: I had a very unprofessional instructor who showed up late, picked up another client on my time, and let them drive on my time. The second time the same instructor made me pick up another client, I made it clear I wanted to drive on my time. Once again, she was late so I wanted to keep driving until we were at the 1 hour mark since I am paying for that time. She was trying to drop me off early. She was incredibly rude about it. Terrible instructor too. Always on her phone and asking me to make very last minute turns because she’s not paying attention. And then slams the brake and yells at you. I talked to the owner/manager and got a free driving session as compensation. My instructor then, was amazing. I completed my course and still haven’t recieved my certificate (I need it for my work and insurance). It’s been about a month. I called, and was told that they would get back to me. Terrible communication skills, and I don’t feel like I am being taken seriously. I mentioned many times I needed my certificate ASAP for work. I regret going to this company.

They are good with their clients and are willing to take whatever steps are necessary to assist them. I highly recommend Campion Driving School to anyone out there looking for a driving school.

Fantastic experience: I just finished my full course with Champion Driving School and I am so happy with the company. My instructor was Bibi and she was lovely, she would always try to accommodate and work around your schedule and she will teach you all the good driving skills you need. Additionally, Adam was also so wonderful, he assisted on organizing me with my instructors and he made it feel like I was always safe and taken care of. It was such a great experience and I am ready to take my Class 5 GDL. :)

Positive experience: Champion driving provided good organization in regards to ensuring each student was on track in both the online courses as well as the in vehicle training. The administrations was responsive and supportive with student request, comments and concerns. The instructors were helpful in teaching, and made drivers feel comfortable on the road while challenging them to do better.

Fantastic experience: I had my lessons with Mohamed and he was the absolute best! He was very patient with me and was super clear when he taught me. I was able to parallel park within my first lesson! I passed on my first try for my drivers test. I would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: Had an excellent experience with Champion Driving School - passed my road test on the first try! Learned a lot from the instruction from Mohamed and Adam during the driving training, they definitely gave me the skills required to feel confident going into my road test - was even complimented on my parking by the examiner! Both were respectful and made me feel comfortable. Communication was very efficient on the part of the administrators and the instructors. The online material is... fine, but apparently comparable to the other driving course material available (AMA etc), just a bit dated and some silly videos, but you do learn some things. The vehicles used are in good shape and felt safe to drive. Great value - do recommend!

Negative experience: Written course was well done however the driving training done by Bebe was not good. She told my daughter incorrect driving rules, had my daughter chauffeur her around, was constantly on her cell phone and also had her pick up other drivers before ending her time slot. Bebe was nice but ultimately my daughter found these things to be extremely unhelpful. She did have a different driver on her last day and she claimed he was very knowledgeable and focused on her and helping her practice parking and improve her driving.

Negative experience: I didn't want to have to leave one star but since no one wanted to respond to my last few messages about scheduling my last 2hrs on the road....since last year.(October 2020) Even with Covid going on and places were reopened and still no reply from this company.They did not handle this situation in a proper manner which is why I am leaving this review maybe then they'd see and finally reply back.. just ridiculous honestly. Since then I haven't reached out (Now April 2021) to chase a company unwilling to teach their paying customers properly....

Fantastic experience: Today I had an issue with my car 15 minutes prior to my road test and the wonderful staff at Champion Driving stepped in to help. With only 15 minutes notice they dropped the car off to the registry. Abdi was very easy going about my etransfer not working prior to the road test and even gave me a ride to the bank so I could get cash for them afterwards, not to mention how cheap the vehicle rental was and the great condition of the car. The team at Champion driving went above and beyond for me today and it is so greatly appreciated. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a driving school or a vehicle for a road test. Thank you again!
