Fantastic experience: I have never felt such a big improvement in myself from when I started with Peter (My driving instructor) to when we finished my very last driving lesson. He taught me everything that I needed to know for learning to drive safely and more. He took me to areas with all different road signs so I would always know what each and every one did. Peter was the nicest and most welcoming driving instructor ever. I passed my license on the First try and did my parking perfectly. All thanks to Peter. Positive experience: I went from having zero driving experience, scared to drive, to passing my road with confidence. Albert was an exceptional instructor, he corrected all my constant mistakes and I can parallel park perfectly. He also helped me feel more at ease with driving as I used to be so nervous before. If you decide to enroll here, I highly recommend him! He’s also easy to talk to and friendly. However, it was difficult to schedule practice times with the owner of the driving school. We had trouble finding times convenient for me or a schedule at all. Overall, I had a good experience with Albert.

Fantastic experience: really do recommend shawnessy driving school especially for those in the SW who have a couple of months of experience under their belt. both the classroom and road sessions taught me lots; definitely changed my philosophy as a driver, and just passed my road exam earlier this week. wendy was my instructor, and she was really awesome! her tips were useful (especially about being cautious while driving), i didn’t feel pressured while driving, and she’s overall a very kind person. i definitely appreciated the format of the road lessons, especially how we trained in more difficult settings/places (which helped me gain more confidence on the road) and practiced the same kinds of things we had done on the actual road exam (hill parking, uncontrolled intersections, etc.). again, thank you so much to wendy and shawnessy driving school for the experience!

Fantastic experience: Shawnessy Driving School is a perfect school for anyone looking to learn how to drive. The in-class lessons were very informative and I found myself learning new things that were not on the class 7 manual. Everything was explained thoroughly and any questions were always answered. During my physical driving lessons I had Wendy as my driving instructor. She was always very relaxed, patient, and informative. I would constantly be receiving tips on what to watch out for on the road test and how to avoid losing marks. Every lesson had a clear schedule like focusing on parking and practicing merges but it was also always accommodated for the student. I feel more confident and experienced on the road after my in-class lessons and physical driving lessons. I would definitely recommend this driving school to anyone looking to become more experienced with driving.

I failed my road-test with another school that stressed me out so much called the R R school. Luckily I then I found Shawnessy Driving School. Driving with Wendy who was so patient and encouraging that I passed my Road Test!. While teaching me new things she always gave positive feedback and helped to build my confidence. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute driving with her and with Peter as well. I am so happy that I passed. I learned so much for them more than with anyone else. Fantastic experience: I had an absolutely fantastic experience with my driving instructor Wendy! As someone with zero prior experience, I couldn't have asked for a more understanding teacher. She was very patient throughout every lesson, and and allowed me to have a smooth learning process. One of the main reason's I decided to do driving school was because of my driving anxiety, and Wendy completely made me feel safe, as she told me to take my time and to go at my own pace. Plus, she was very easy to reach and was very accommodating to cancelations or rescheduling. Solid 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: I did this program to help with my Confidence for the road test. As well as the insurance reduction.. I have to say it was amazing and Peter is one of the most patient Instructors in the car. I highly recommend program for uncertain or newer drivers.

Fantastic experience: Great driving school. I was with Peter and took 2 brush up lessons with him before I went for the road test. I learnt the proper techniques in how to parallel park so I was able to perfectly parallel park during the test, and he took me around the route that I would likely go on the test. He really helped me pass my driving test by fixing the little mistakes that I had. Would recommend for any level driver. Thank you Peter for your great help!

Fantastic experience: The in class Instruction clear and concise with plenty of breaks between the 2 days it was taught, and Albert made the hands-on portion easy to understand and was very willing to teach me anything I needed to know. Even on my first couple lessons I felt safe and by the end of the lessons I am confident in my driving ability's more so than ever before.

Negative experience: This driving school is not good based from my experience. Peter will reply to your messages when you're inquiring about their driving classes but then when you need something after your classes he will not help you anymore. Pankaj, the instructor who "taught" me to drive was late 3/5 of our classes and he will finish the lesson 30-45 mins early. He wasted most of our time with uphill and downhill parking which I already mastered instead of teaching me or taking me to the main road which he NEVER did. One more thing, Peter will send you your completion certificate through email and in the certificate it says on the bottom, "Submit this copy to any Alberta registy etc." which you should NOT and i didn't know until I asked Peter. I dont get it why it was written there when it's so unnecessary. I will never recommend this school to anybody because they're only nice to you at first because of your money.

Fantastic experience: Overall great experience. The in-class lessons were good, but the in-car lessons were phenomenal. I had no experience as a driver, maybe one or two practice trips in a year before stepping into the car with my instructor, Albert. From day one, he taught me solid foundations and always corrected me in a way that was both polite and informative. Albert was very knowledgeable on the road and answered every question I had with a straightforward response. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Peter! I booked for the 2 hours BRUSH UP course from 1045 to 1245pm then too the Road Test by 200pm and passed same day! All of Peter's note's are accurate. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: This driving school helped me passed my Class 5 basic road test last month. Peter knew what are the things you need to be equipped with during the test. I mastered doing parallel parking because of his tips and techniques. I had a chance to drive at downtown with confidence in one of in vehicle lessons. I also used the car (hybrid Toyota Corolla) during my test which is the same one that I am using during the lessons. My tip - schedule your road test an hour after your last in-vehicle lesson so the familiarity of the route and dynamics are totally fresh. All the best!

Had Sai as an instructor though sometimes hard to understand sometimes cause of his thick accent always made good points and genuinely wanted you to succeed.✅️

Fantastic experience: When I started my lessons, I had very little driving experience. However, I was able to learn a lot during my in car lessons with Salvador Divino since he was very patient and understanding. He always gave good feedback as he clearly explained my errors and suggested improvements with them. Overall, I definitely recommend Shawnessy Driving School as I had a really good experience there.

The classroom lessons were easy to understand. My behind-the-wheel instructor was Salvador and he was so patient and gives tips especially about taking the road test. It was easy for me to gain the confidence to drive, even around downtown. He was very calm and friendly, and I learned a lot!

Fantastic experience: I had Peter as my instructor and he made sure I was ready for my road test. If it wasn't because of him, I wouldn't have passed the first time. He's such a good instructor because no matter what, he keeps it calm so you don't panic or get nervous. I learned a lot from him and I can tell you that driving school was worth my money. The same route we practiced was the same route we took for my road test.
