Fantastic experience: Big thanks to Cody and Pat for helping me with getting my g2. I came here with no experience and now I feel safe and confident with my driving, and got my g2 on the first try! If you are looking to learn how to drive, ask for Cody, he is a great teacher and all around good dude. 10/10, my experience with ttcc and the entire team there.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of having both Todd and Gerry as my instructors. My time at the Heavy Equipment Operator course was amazing. I would recommend this course to anyone as Todd and Gerry were extremely helpful and went above and beyond for their students.

Fantastic experience: I took the online class with Gerry from Oct 15 2024 to Oct 21 2024. He did awesome job on explaining stuff and how the Backhoe(TLB) work and operates. It would be better if had a way of showing it instead of trying draw on the white board. A RC backhoe(TLB) and area of dirt will better of showing what he is talking about. They have a system out there that can show what he is talking about better than trying describe the situation. With better technology that we can use will help students to learn better if they have a hard time understanding English. It's not Gerry fault for the lack of technology. He did amazing job on talking about his experience and what the book says.

Fantastic experience: I had Gerry from Thunder Bay for my week of online theory. He has to be one of the best trainers I’ve ever had, anywhere. Especially with the barriers that teaching over zoom can come with, he did phenomenal. I only wish I could have him as a trainer in the pit. Gerry is the go to trainer, he does not just give you textbook explanations. He uses real life experiences, and gives you many tips and tricks of the trade. Gerry is a well of information and I am confident he can make a great Heavy Equipment operator out of anyone, no matter your background and experience. A special thanks also goes to Ashley for organizing everything so we could sail smoothly. Great experience!

Fantastic experience: Chris needed to fill in halfway through our AZ class after our first instructor got hurt, he did a phenomenon job! Awesome instructor, a wealth of knowledge and kept class just as engaging and fun as Shawn W did. Instructors as whole during my experience thus far have been awesome! A real pleasure! Fantastic experience: We have had Chris being our second week instructor as our previous one Shawn injured himself working. ttcc was great about having another one ready for lessons quickly. Chris is another very experienced driver with many years of additional information and tips from experience. He is thorough in going through chapters and making sure everyone understands clearly what is being taught and is patience with us just beginning our driving career

Fantastic experience: Great school. Teaches you everything you need to pass and is explained in depth. Toby is an amazing instructor and works with you to help overcome challenges and develop skills. He helped me with my shifting struggles and to drive with confidence. A big thanks to the amazing staff.

Fantastic experience: Gerry was a great instructor, definitely takes the time to work with you and walk you through something if you have a problem. Definitely would recommend training with him. And Toby is a great instructor as well, came along taught me some little tips and tricks which became handy on the job.

Fantastic experience: I appreciate Toby's teaching style as it is a good mixture of allowing me to learn on my own and guidance with feedback. His teaching moments are delivered in a way that supports doing better without feeling like they are criticisms of a developing skill set. There is a good balance of "this is lesson two so keep in mind you won't be perfect" and " try doing x, y, z to get better with that". Great lessons. Thanks

Fantastic experience: I've had an excellent experience with the online instructors in this program. They have been incredibly helpful and responsive, always ready to answer questions and provide clear guidance. Their expertise and support have made the Theory portion of the learning process engaging, even though it's conducted online through Zoom. It's unfortunate that we're unable to meet these fantastic instructors in person unless we’re participating in the Practical learning portion of the program. I can only imagine how much more valuable the experience would be if we had the opportunity to interact with them face-to-face. Overall, the instructors have been a key highlight of the program, and their dedication truly shines through, even in a virtual environment. I want to express my gratitude and appreciation for the incredible support and positivity shown by Mike during my heavy equipment operator training. As a woman stepping into this field with no prior experience operating such large machinery, I was initially nervous and uncertain. However, Mike has been an amazing guide, always encouraging and patient, making sure I feel confident and capable with each new challenge. His dedication to teaching and his belief in my abilities have made a huge impact on my learning experience. Under his guidance, I've gone from feeling overwhelmed to genuinely excited about mastering these powerful machines. His positive attitude and commitment to my success have truly inspired me, and I couldn't have asked for a better instructor to help me on this journey. Fantastic experience: I have just completed the beginner driver education course. Patrick was my instructor both in the class and in the car and is very thorough and patient in his teachings. It is what really helped ease some of the early jitters I had getting behind the wheel for the first time. A lot of his advice will definitely assist me when I take my G2 road test in a few months!
